Our itinerary was custom-made to fit our dates and the bucket list of South American experiences that we wanted to tick off - most especially; Iguazu Falls, Galapagos, and the Amazon Rainforest. The accommodations ranged from standard to superior but all of them were excellent in cleanliness and location. Our Viva agent was knowledgeable about the locations and advised us on many ideas for us to incorporate into our itinerary. She was open to our needs and wants, altering the itinerary many times until we were happy. We appreciated all the extra information both in the itinerary e.g. if you have time... and in the extra notes provided e.g. tips. We felt extremely safe and well cared for throughout the trip, particularly with the excellent pickup/drop-off services at the airports and hotels for all our excursions. The guides and drivers provided excellent quality of care including being timely, knowledgeable, caring, and friendly. Our flights were booked as soon as they were available from the airlines which kept the cost as low as possible especially as we were travelling our the Xmas period. Viva ensured that my husband's dietary needs as a celiac were catered for throughout our trip with excellent communication for all of our providers including the flights and cruise. The use of What's App for on-the-ground contact, communication, and service in each country was excellent and also added to our sense of care/safety so that we could relax and really embrace our journey.

I traveled to Antarctica with Viva aboard a chartered ship in November 2023 and had the most amazing time. Tara and Rachel are fantastic at their jobs and experts at planning, organizing and creating the absolute perfect adventure trip. We came into the trip not knowing much of anyone onboard and left feeling like friends with most of the other passengers. Not only was the ship exquisite but we were well informed of what to expect while onboard the ship and in our travels to Argentina too. If I book another expedition style trip to the polar regions and beyond I will certainly book through Viva.

Fantastic, memorable time in Antarctica, made into a once in lifetime experience because of the people I met on the voyage. The ship was beautiful and room super comfortable. The food was delicious and the staff friendly. The expedition leaders were excellent, knowledgeable, and fun. No notes! Thanks again for putting all of this together for us Tara and Rachel!

10 Days Buenos Aires/Iguazu/Rio
We were extremely impressed right from the start of our experience when we were met from our cruise ship. Every single time given for a pick up or excursion was bang on. Our guides were excellent and well informed. It made our holiday very care free knowing we could rely on your company. We were never let down. We would recommend you to anyone. You even went the extra mile when my wife needed a Dr at Iguazu Falls. Everything was arranged for us and she was treated extremely well.
The hotels you use are very good and well located.
A great 10 days.

Especially the personal tour of Buenos Aires .
The tour guide had a great knowledge of history etc and made this really interesting.
This was great from being picked up from the cruise ship, right through to the shuttle to the airport.

Booking with Pia of Vivia Expeditions was the best thing. She is attentive, always responsive to questions and very helpful. I went to the Sub Antarctic islands with Ponant and the trip was absolutely amazing, far exceeding my expectations. Went on a Viva Expedition to Antarctica and it was amazing. The Viva team takes such good care of you and ensures that your trip is perfect. I have always wanted to go to Antarctica and I could not have picked a better organization to that happen. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip!

The highlights were undoubtedly a combination of untouched wilderness, unique wildlife, and breathtaking landscapes. Viva Expeditions have a wealth of knowledge and expertise when it comes to planning an expedition style holiday.

I'm fully satisfied with the overall experience, from handling the booking to managing the voyage. Everything was well planned in detailed and managed professionally. I enjoyed the tour and including activities during the expedition. The guides and expedition team were specialized from their field, which provided a great platform for awareness and knowledge exchange, and managed the activities with great comfort and safety. The crew members did an amazing job working round the clock being invisible to the guest. Regarding the hotel staff and food, being a Vegetarian, I didn't feel any short of option or felt unserved any day. I'm fully happy with the experience, and would surely recommend to my friends and family members in the future!!

The only area of remark for consideration is the tipping: I know that it's a business practice in the North American region, but it's not in the other part of the world, people give tip and decide the amount with their own initiative, and not told by the service provider that they'll charge a fixed amount to your account, even if it's a small amount, I believe, this should be asked to the guest to decide on their own.

My family (wife and parents) just got back from an incredible 11 day trip to Antartica. The trip was fantastic, but also was the support of Emma at Viva Expeditions. Every step of the way she was there to support us and answer our many questions. Can’t recommend them enough.

Viva Representative (Tara) is excellent and very help full. She made our Antarctica Trip materialized and unforgettable. Our Antarctica trip has been long on hold (almost 4 years) due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite that, with the help of the Viva Representative, our trip went smoothly.
Furthermore, based on my many years of offshore experiences, Vessel MV Ushuaia, is the best ship for our Trip. We have tons of fun onboard with the crew and we were like a one big family. I believe, it is uncommon to come across this type of feeling, fun and welcoming which might not get on bigger vessel. Besides that, there is an overall satisfaction with the food provided onboard. The Crew ratio and passenger is great: 1:1.7.
To Conclude, the Antarctica Trip is worth for money. Definitely an unforgettable memory for a lifetime!

Thoroughly enjoyed my Hurtigruten 15 day Follow the Lights Southbound tour. We were very lucky with the Northern Lights being visible for at least 6 nights of our tour. Had a husky sleigh ride, reindeer sleigh ride and had a drink in the bar of the Ice Hotel. Off boat tours down the the Norwegian coast were very good and well organised. Accommodation was excellent. Only disappointment was the short daylight meant we didn't get to see places mentioned in their brochure, an example the Flam Railway, mentioned as one of the world's most scenic rail journeys - not very scenic at night. Would recommend this tour or the 19 day Follow the Lights North trip but be aware of the shorter days. Would also recommend taking crampons as the ice in places can be very slippery.

Rachel, Tara and the whole Viva team made our South America and Antarctica experience one that we will remember forever. It's clear the team have a huge level of experience and knowledge of the destination. Everything was taken care of, from seamless transfers to fantastic restaurant reservations. We would highly recommend!
