I have totally regreted switching from Etisalat to virgin. I am outside UAE. I have to urgently get mobile data but I can't. For some reason the mobile data stopped working all of a sudden. The support Nagi R has been horrible taking decades to respond to me, mentionimg that he has high volume of chats, and all the troubleshooting can't fix my problem. Virgin Mobile is becoming very expensive, very bad support and taking their customers for granted. I will switch back to etisalat
Fraud Company
Fraudulently charged my credit card $300 all over $5 I forgot to charge due to the plan increasing. Their customer service said they would waive the charge, yet never did and wouldn't just let me pay the extra. After 3 months of not having service, I got fed up and did a charge back with my CC company. That put me on Virgin's fraud list and their Finance department told me I owed that $300, nevermind the fact that the service at the time was $45/month. Only when I contacted the BBB did my service get restored and I promptly cancelled and switched to another carrier. I see they went out of business in the US, good. They are a terrible company who steals people's money and the then tries to extort them.

Scammers. Told me to go ahead and use my data whilst they were fixing my virgin media WiFi. Promised to refund me. Ended up charging me £200 with no refund and rude customer service when trying to negotiate it back

Contacted Virgin Mobile today because I need to find out when my contract finishes for my handset loan. Most unhelpful customer service adviser telling me I had still had 3 months left which o dont agree with so I asked for a copy of the loan agreement ansmd my contract. She kept telling me it was now the responsibility of o2 which it isn't. The airtime plan is with o2 after the merger last year but on my o2 account it states that my handset contract is still with virgin mobile. Rude and unhelpful and now feel like they can whistle for their money until they send me a copy of the loan agreement

Been migrated to o2 under false promises
Last year I got email from Virgin mobile saying that from July 2023 I was migrating to o2, their sister company. It was like this or else. However on the plus site it was assured via email by virgin I would have been charged THE SAME from o2. And that they would have given me a discount because my tariff on Virgin was really unbelievable. The 'migration' was a nightmare. However : now o2 has decided that (as I was told by o2 customer service Alicia) because of o2 financial situation my plan is obsolate, no more discount and new plan, - a more expensive one of course. I fully accepted the increase there was in April (due to be in line with inflation) But I am angry that my plan has become obsolete when Virgin never mention any possibility of this happening... Of course o2 took away my discount: even with the normal April increase, I was paying less, as the tariff went up, yes, but so my discount!!! Angry I was migrated under false pretence, fraudolent company , very disappointed, I was with them since 2000! Total disappointment

I’ve been with vm since they inherited me from ntlworld.
I called them to discuss the increased price from completion of contract which turns into a 30 day rolling contract at a non discounted price. They weren’t able to offer me a new contract that could compete with any other suppliers so I said I’d stay out of contract and look for a new supplier.
Straight after the call ended I received an email that appeared to be from vm-o2 for hundreds of pounds. My first thought was to remain with them so I could avoid such a huge bill. Thankfully I came to my senses and upon looking at the properties of the email header I could see it was actually from a talk talk.net user.
I can’t prove it, but I am in no doubt that the email originated from a vm staff member as a tactic to keep my custom.
It took about 4hrs of phone calls to get through to cancel the rolling contract. They are filth.

AWFUL!!!! My virgin contract was merged last year with 02. Now my air time with 02 and device with Virgin. I just want to pay and clear off my device and NO ONE is helping or taking any ownership. I have tried for so long. DO NOT USE VIRGIN MOBILE!!!!!!!

Avoid at all costs! Worked in Cirencester a few wks back, no reception. Apparently it was my location. Have worked in London, Birmingham and Swindon since then and had the same issues trying to get a reception. Could it be the supplied phone, possibly? Unfortunately, the company are more interested in selling me a new phone rather than dealing with the handset I have that has never worked properly. No easy way of getting anything done unfortunately. Will be off once contract is up.
