Booking was easy. Everything changed when a serious problem occurred.

A €2,000 security deposit was charged to my credit card. Because it was not released within the promised timeframe, the charge appeared on my credit card statement and I had to pay the full amount.

Since then, I have received several written assurances that the deposit had been released. Despite those promises, the money has still not been returned.

VIP Cars continues to pass along messages from the rental company instead of ensuring that the issue is actually resolved. As the company that sold the reservation, they should stand behind their customers and take responsibility until the problem is solved.

Weeks have passed, the agreed deadline has expired, and I am still waiting for my €2,000.

Until my money is returned, I cannot recommend VIP Cars. I expect actions, not repeated assurances.

Very bad experience, they send me the rental on my way to destination. That contain the term that I can’t accept . I can’t check it until I reach to Thailand. They don’t refund my cancellation and even said I should thanks to them that because they can even charge to me more . Very bad service. They just need your money. Don’t trust them .

Very poor experience.
The car I reserved was not available upon arrival. Instead, I was given a different car without proper explanation.
The pick-up process took a very long time, and despite having a reservation, I had to provide all my details again.
On top of that, the security deposit was not properly refunded, even though most of it should have been returned according to their own documents. (After 4 months still not solved)
Unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend this company.”

Ho prenotato un auto con VIP Car presso l'apt di Brindisi con la compagnia Nuleggiare. Il mio volo è arrivato a destinazione con un'ora di ritardo. La consegna dell'auto era prevista x le 10 sono arrivato alle 11. 30 la compagnia mi ha comunicato che per il No Show c'era da pagare una penale di 73 euro. Ho contattato Vip Car telefonicamente non hanno operatori che parlano italiano, ho comunicato su WhatsApp é mi è stato riferito che nn possono modificare la prenotazione dopo l'orario di consegna. É assurdo perché il ritardo non è dovuto ad un mio errore ma al ritardo del volo. Zero al customer care e assistenza.

Total rip off, we were quoted £395, and after their hidden charges for Enterprise car hire, paid over £800.however enterprise responded to our complaint and refunded us the £400, happy ending

Used this company before without any problems but this time a different story.They said that I would be getting compensation for a problem one of their companies in Turkey caused me which cost me £200 and then refused to pay me.After about 20 emails from me they eventually returned my £25 deposit which is extremely disappointing.I will never use this company again!!!

Picked up at Munich airport and it took 30 minutes to arrive at the hire companies depot, on the return journey to the airport it took 5 minutes, this gives the the illusion you are miles away from the airport and should you disagree with their tactics it would be difficult to return to the airport. On arrival didn’t accept my credit card because it had under 6 months to run and charged me three times the original fee from £120 to £350 !. Got home and 2 weeks later £410 removed from my credit card without notification from them. THIS COMPANY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS AND SCAMMERS DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All i wanted to do was change my pick up time by 30 minutes and got charged £6. But they did not even tell me a charge was coming, and just took it from my account. Never told me the office where i pick the car up may be shut when i get there either if the flight delayed slightly. Leave this company well alone.

Entreprise peu fiable et qui fuit ses responsabilités. Elle vous propose une location de voiture à Athènes auprès d’une société qui s’est avérée être défaillante. Malgré plusieurs échanges de messages, auxquels VIP Car répond que très partiellement, elle avance des arguments fallacieux pour éviter de reconnaître qu’elle s’est trompé.
Fuir cette société est salutaire

C’est des arnaqueurs et des voleurs on a loué une voiture c’était en 2023,on a payé l’acompte d’avance pour la réservation et le lendemain quand on est parti chercher la voiture c’était pas la même voiture qu’on a loué, on a trouvé une autre voiture qui était moins chère à la location et on l’a pas accepté et lorsque on est revenus, on s’est pris la tête avec eux un manque de respect total et la fille qui s’appelle Fahima qu’on croyait de notre côté, elle nous a baratiner on a signé les papiers comme quoi on a pas pris la voiture, ils ont pris l’acompte et on attendait qu’ils nous remboursent la caution qui était de 500 €. Bah figurez-vous qui nous ont volé la caution, on l’a jamais eu. pour la caution ma femme m’a jamais rien dit parce que ma femme elle est pour le châtiment divin t’es sûre que Dieu va les faire payer . Mais moi je croyais que la caution était remboursée, je viens juste de le savoir en 2025 j’ai tous les papiers qui prouvent qu’on m’a volé la caution et je vais poser plainte à mon retour à Dubaï et ils vont voir qui est l’idiot du village

Et à mon retour à Dubaï, l’égyptien, le Responsable, le voleur, il va voir c’est quoi un homme en colère ?
C’est frustrant et contraignant, ce sentiment d’être abusé par des voleurs en costard cravate et qui croient qu’ils sont intouchables

I booked through VIP Car, expecting assistance if issues arose. When Autoone in Bari charged me an extra amount, VIP Car simply repeated the supplier’s response: “There is nothing to refund.” I had to resolve the issue through other way.

Even after I successfully got my refund, VIP Car kept emailing me, apologising that there is nothing to refund. Their lack of communication and accountability made the experience frustrating and unprofessional.

Booking the car was easy;
BUT, because you only pay VIP a reservation fee, you pay the remaining hire charge in the local currency which means it can change significantly from the price you have been quoted when exchange rates alter.
Car booked June, collected August, cost us £10 more than was shown on the website.

Scam. Reporting to Faro Airport.

I made a reservation through VIP Cars and paid a deposit, which included full insurance coverage.

Upon my arrival at the airport, I contacted the rental company, Auto Prudente Rent a Car, and was told to wait for over an hour while they completed paperwork for other customers. What followed was not only extremely unpleasant but also deeply unsettling.

A woman from the company led me to the side of the parking lot, where another couple was also dealing with a colleague of hers. She then informed me that the insurance I had purchased was invalid because it was through the booking agent, and insisted I would need to pay an additional €24 per day for insurance.

The other couple next to us faced the exact same issue. After checking Google reviews, it became apparent that this fraudulent practice is a common occurrence with this company.

Additionally, when I informed her that I would be the main driver due to my husband's illness, she demanded an extra €24 per day, despite their website clearly stating the charge is €12.

Auto Prudente Rent a Car seemed to take advantage of my vulnerable situation, knowing I urgently needed the car. The woman was extremely aggressive, repeatedly grabbing my driver's license and bank card, which caused me significant distress. The couple beside us experienced similar treatment.

I urge you to never use this company, which is conducting business on the premises of Faro Airport.

As a result of this ordeal, I am now out nearly €300, as we did not take the car and had already paid for the deposit and insurance.
I will be taking this matter further and reporting to the police for fraud .

I recently had the unfortunate experience of renting a car from VIP car hire, and I am compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their service.

Booking Process:
The booking process initially seemed straightforward, but issues began to surface soon after. Despite booking well in advance,the shuttle bus from the airport never arrived and we had to take a taxi to the location the vehicle I had reserved was not available upon arrival. Instead, I was offered an alternative vehicle that did not meet my needs.

Customer Service:
The customer service was far below expectations. The staff were unhelpful and indifferent to my concerns. When I tried to address the issue of the unavailable vehicle, I was met with dismissive responses and no genuine attempt to rectify the situation.

Vehicle Condition:
The alternative vehicle provided was in poor condition. It was damged and not properly cleaned, and there were visible signs of wear and tear. Moreover, it had mechanical issues that became apparent during the rental period, further compounding the inconvenience.

Pricing and Transparency:
The pricing was another significant issue. The final bill included hidden charges that were not disclosed upfront. Attempts to clarify these charges with customer service were futile, as they could not provide a satisfactory explanation.

Return Process:
Returning the vehicle was equally frustrating. The process was disorganized, and the staff seemed uninterested in assisting with a smooth handover. This lack of professionalism added unnecessary stress to the end of our trip.

Overall Experience:
Overall, my experience with VIP car hire was extremely disappointing. The lack of reliable service, poor vehicle quality, and unprofessional customer care have left me reluctant to use their services again. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free car rental experience.

Ensure the availability of reserved vehicles or provide suitable alternatives.
Improve customer service training to ensure staff are helpful and professional.
Maintain and clean vehicles to a high standard.
Ensure pricing transparency with no hidden charges.
Streamline the return process for efficiency and customer convenience.

Do not get scammed. This company fraudulently advertised under VIP rental and 2 other names. They are anything but VIP. When you get there, it's called something like OC Rental. They wouldn't accept our insurance even though it's State Farm and was confirmed as acceptable prior to booking. I witnessed 3 other families who had rentals paid for in full either get turned away or forced to buy their overpriced car insurance. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I called for service and was greeted by a totally rude lady who said, "well, you booked through us, but we are not going to help you, call the company who you are picking the car up from.. Was literally shouting at me down the phone... VIP? I think not!! STEER CLEAR OF THESE CHARLATANS!!! or else..
