The website looks like it comes from a nice London shop but it is sent from china. Poor quality products, sizing off. Delays in posting. Refunds have to be sent back to china and paid by sender. I wonder how long the refund will take. Definitely do NOT recommend this company. I feel very upset that the front of store and story behind the store is untrue.

I would like to advise that I purchased a white linen dress costing around £35 which I thought was quite reasonable. However, when it arrived, the quality is of the lowest standard ever. It is see-through which means you would need to purchase a slip to wear underneath it, but the quality in itself is extremely creased even if it gets ironed these creases would not come out very very poor Fabric.

Avoid this company at all costs. It’s cheap Chinese crap from china NOT London. Complete scam. Nothing like advertised 💯 polyester not linen as advertised. Complete and utter rip off. Cheap and nasty I will be using the dress as a duster as it’s so difficult to return and more expensive than the dress to do so. You have been warned

Ordered 2 dresses very poor quality. Ordered size medium which was very very tight. I am size 12, these were more like size 8. On website return is guaranteed but it will cost £25 and only insure for £20. These are only good for the bin.

Poor quality, fitting is dreadful and despite being an alleged London company returns to china at your own expense . Will never buy here again!

If I could give a minus star I would! Awful company, complete scam. Regretfully I also did not read the comment/reviews off their own website. What I ordered was definitely not what I got.
Unfortunately they are protected by a '.com' web address even though they strongly give the illusion of being a Uk based company possibly stealing the image of a Victoria and Louise off the internet and therefore difficult to get Consumer Protection. They require you to track and trace your return to a rather dubious sounding address which they know will cost more to return than the item was to purchase.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I wish we had read the reviews before ordering. My experience is the same as everyone else. Poor quality, the dress doesn’t fit and the costs to return it outweigh the benefits. Such a scam. Absolutely appalling.

Beware they are a SCAM company, the company does not exist on Companies House, there was a Victoria Louise London who dissolved in 2023.Also they claim to be a UK Company but use US sizes on their internet and then will not refund you unless you pay out of your own pocket to send back to China, my bank are in dispute with the Company as they say it is not acceptable.

Not London based selling boutique linen clothes as advertised but cheap polyester rags and if you want to return you have to send back to China at your own cost!

Unfortunately this company is a scam. Their branding portrays a British business based in a central London shop. This is not the case. They are an online business with a factory in China. If you have to return your item, you need to pay for the tracked return packaging.to China. I wanted to return one dress which in a small package and was quoted £20 for it to be returned. I emailed the company to ask if this could be returned to the London shop which of course is non-existent. Avoid at all costs!

The dress is not as advertised as a first point. Sold as cotton/linen but has a 100% polyester label. Customer Service (awful), say this was a mistake and mistake label.
Sizing is not UK standard, much smaller.
Returns are impossible unless you want to throw more money after bad, returning item, at your cost, to China where they will allegedly inspect and decide if a refund is possible. They refuse to offer a UK address for returns I have been in a 3 day email conversation where I have advised they are trading illegally by representing themselves as UK business when they're obviously not. I've requested a UK returns address, or pre-paid postage to China, or just a refund. This is constantly denied. Please don't waste your time or money.

This company is not trustworthy, they are actually from China. The goods were awful, poor quality but when you try and return them, they ask you to pay for the return to China when they purport to be a UK company. It’s a total scam. If you don’t provide proof of despatch they won’t refund, this is an unfair barrier effectively blocking refunds.

Such a shame I could not give a 0 score. This company claim to be UK based but they are in fact in China. My dress did eventually arrive but it has a pull fault in it. I offered to send photos and stated that I should not have to pay costs to return to China but they still insist that I do just that. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The dress is unusable but I refuse to pay around half the cost of the dress to return it and I am not at all confident that I would get the refund even if I did. Terrible company!

This company is a scam. The company is not based in London, the website gives the impression it has a London shop. The limited company was dissolved. Although the website does state that returns may have to be sent to China and the customer has to incur the cost which means that all the items were really awful quality (worst then Temu by the way who offer free refunds) but they are banking on customers not bothering to return the items. Their business model seems to be based on a scam in my opinion.

Cheap scam. It's a Chinese company (I think is TEMU) pretending to be London company, and the dress is very bad quality. Don't buy from them.

Terrible company don’t buy from them the London in their name is just not true goods came from china it would of cost as much as the dress to send them back

This is not a London based company. The clothes are cheaply made in China. The clothes are nothing like the pictures. I ordered a linen dress. When it came it was made with a cheap thin cotton. You can get better quality clothes from SHEIN or TEMU.

I would give 0 stars if possible, con of a company, not London but cheap crap from China, dress fabric was disgraceful, when asked to return item they said i had to ship it back to China, even though item not fit for purpose , DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Poor quality and when I wanted to return an item it was to be posted to China so an item that cost me £36 was going to be £26 to return! The London in the title is very misleading. Certainly won’t be using again

Delivery took almost 2 weeks. Item was not very good quality and didn’t resemble online photo. I now have to return to China and pay for tracking.

Will certainly not purchase from them again.
