I bought the Boss signet ring thinking it was a proper signet. It arrived as the thinnest silver I have ever encountered and nothing is engraved on this. It is merely stamped on. It looks like something I would have scored out of the gum-ball machine in the 90s. Super disappointed. I also waited 3 weeks for this to arrive. Definitely not worth the $120.

I love Verameat jewelry! They are really high quality and I love the options that they have. So many unique pieces that you cannot find anywhere else.

Verameat is a New York institution. It was in the East Village for people in the know along with Veselka, a famous Ukrainian eating spot on 2nd & 10th. Like many precious Village boutiques that were forced to close during the pandemic, it always stuck with me as one of those authentic East Village places that always made New York feel like home. We New Yorkers value authenticity.

l always knew the owner of Verameat to be kind and generous. Having never had a problem with anything from Verameat, I’m happy I can still shop on verameat.com and am loving the cut new gold box packaging!

i THINK this place runs a Ponzi scheme. i ordered a couple pieces of jewelry after having successfully and happily purchasing in the past. this time they forgot an item in my order. when i emailed the emailed them about it i didnt get a response. so i basically paid $70 for nothing. i tried to dispute it with my credit card but verameat just sent them a delivered notice and my credit card closed the case. if u google and look on reddit there are numerous cases of the same thing happening, where people dont receive a couple items OR you go to their store and they flip flop the prices. HIGHLY UNTRUSTWORTHY - save yourself the hastle dont buy here

I ordered the black and white swan ring, and loved it upon arrival. The third time I wore it, the “enamel”(it is actually a rubbery coating) began to peel off, and after it the color. My daughter gifted me the two bird ring, and one of the birds cracked right off the first day I wore it. Both items were cute, but NOT AT ALL worth the price.

UPDATE: they leaked my credit card info 😇 i hate this place.

sad experience. have wanted a piece from verameat for as long as i can remember and finally snagged a barbed wire heart choker during a 70% sale (which i now realize has been going on forever and is a total marketing ploy🤪) and was literally so embarrassed when i opened the package and found a $10 necklace i could’ve gotten at claire’s. the gold is garish and tacky (i’ll probably end up using it for a costume piece and telling people i got it from party city to save myself the disgrace of not having checked reviews before buying) and the entire necklace is as light as a handful of thumbtacks. i can’t believe they’ve been running a business this long and haven’t been shut down for what’s clearly a scam

Every time i have bought from here, items are lovely quality and shipping is fast. There is a constant sale of 70% and over off, so the actual prices aren’t real. Fine print states all sale items are final so it seems they just don’t take exchanges like they imply, however i have never tried to exchange something so i’m not sure if they honour this.

I placed my first, only and last order with this company this month. Although the pieces are nice, they're not of quality to be sold for the outrageous prices they're selling them for. I had ordered 2 items: one gold necklace and one brass ring; what they sent me was sterling silver for both items. I have emailed them several times and even sent DMs on Instagram to have this rectified and have still not received any response nor help from them. I do not recommend buying items from this company and will not be purchasing any further items.

I'm giving 2 stars because everything arrived and nothing has broken yet. I also bought during the 75% off sale so I'm not as upset because I didn't pay full price. The steel chain necklace is actually quite nice and exactly as pictured. The rings however are gumball machine quality. I cannot believe the regular price considering the quality. Also the sizing is really wonky. Do not buy unless there is a massive sale

Do not order from Vera meat!!! I ordered this ring back in June along with a few other items, it wasn’t included with my delivery so I reached out to customer service, took two weeks for them to respond! I ended up having to pay for shipping again and was told the ring would take 2-4 months to come back in stock, I waited 4 months and heard nothing so I reached out again and was told it would take another 3 months to arrive, I ended up having to change for another ring and was told to pay for shipping again! The items I did receive look nothing like the quality on the website and the bands of the rings warp and feel like they could snap at any moment and the earring backs don’t fit right and slip off! All in all horrible customer service and even worse product quality

first of all, the quality is garbage for what you're paying for. the ring whose supposed non-sale value was $48.00 (?!) looks visibly tarnished and dirty and left a green stain on my finger after two days of gentle wear. i didn't get the correct necklace I paid for, and no response to any of my attempts to reach out to customer service. there's no returns or exchanges allowed on sale day, and guess what: every day is a sale day. I would've gotten better quality and better prices off a random dropshipper.

Two stars because everything arrived, but it’s mostly cheap trash. The necklace i got fell apart day one, things aren’t glued together right, and it is overpriced for what it is. Would not recommend to anyone.

**UPDATE: finally got a message back on Instagram from the company however it was absolutely no help at all. Was told to contact my post office, after checking with my local post office they have advised that the parcel isn’t even in the country!! Vera meat need to open an investigation their side. Unfortunately I’m not expecting to ever get back my money or receive what I ordered. I absolutely would not recommend this brand. **Ordered $90 worth of items from there, none of them arrived. Have been trying to get in touch for a month, emailed all available email addresses, dm’d on insta, etc and no reply. Would not recommend even if the parcel eventually turned up.

I ordered online and almost instantly the USPS email tracking number was provided - three weeks later there has yet to be a delivery - the USPS website can’t help because it’s an international parcel - the email on Verameat bounces back or I receive a reply dismissing my request for further information.
Either the true Verameat site has been cloned and evil parasites are stealing other peoples hard earned money or I am being lied to by the jewellery designer.

Either way I am out of pocket and my lover is disappointed that my gift had not arrived on time.

I placed an order on the Verameat website in mid-October 2019 that never shipped, never sent a shipment or delay notification, or anything else. I followed up in November, and again in December, inquiring about my order status, and received no response whatsoever. In late December, I received an email informing me that one of my items was out of stock and asking what I would like them to do. They then never followed up to my response, never refunded me, and never shipped any of my items. 100% unresponsive customer service that took my money and refused to deliver their product or work with me to make the situation right. I would not recommend shopping with Verameat online under any circumstances.
