I am amazed by how unsatisfactory your reply is. You are unable to tell me what the model of the hub is. Your listing does not tell what the model of the hub is. The receipt does not tell me what the model of the hub is. How can your company function with that level of incompetence?
I wrote to you several hours after the order was placed in an attempt to allow you to stop the shipment if it was not the correct item. Apparently though, the shipping department is well run, and works efficiently. It’s too bad that the rest of the company is not on the same level.
I will open the package when it arrives because it may be what I ordered. If it isn’t, then I will return it. I cannot understand why you don’t know what you are selling. If the photograph in your listing could have been taken from a better angle I could have known what hub it was, but since the left side of the hub is not visible, it could be a CS-RF3 or it could be a CS-RK3. It is impossible for me to tell.
Furthermore, when I shopped online for the CS-RF3 hub, your listing appeared with a price of $127. However when I added the item to my cart the price went up to $143.61. I looked at your listing today, and the price has dropped to $118.27. So I appear to have paid $25.34 more for it than what you are selling it for today, and $16.61 more for it than it was advertised for on the day that I bought it. I think that you ought to refund me at least $16.61 to match the price that it was advertised for on the day that I bought it. I’d be more pleased if you gave me a $25.34 refund to give me the current price that it is listed at today.
I don’t dislike you or your company, but I hope that you will look seriously at the points that I have raised in this email, and take steps to improve what you do. You’ve obviously done a lot of work to create your business, but unless you can address the kinds of concerns that I have pointed out to you, you will not have any repeat customers. Depending upon how you handle this transaction for me, I will either be a customer again in the future, or I will never deal with you again. We all make mistakes. The question is, what do we do after we have made a mistake?
Post script: Velo-store refunded me 20 euros. It was a nice gesture, and I do appreciate it. They have not explained how they managed to list the hub without saying exactly what model it was, or how it is that were not able to tell me what model they shipped. It has all turned out well in the end. Velo-store is not a scam, and I will do business with them again--cautiously. I hope that they will become more transparent about the fact that their prices are in a constant state of flux. I hope that they be more diligent about including all important information and specifications in their listings.

Ordered child’s bike in November for latest given delivery of the 6th of December. Bike was not in stock, ask for refund and none given, shipped then after multiple customer enquires, blocked in French postal shipping over 30 days later and still no progress, disappointed child for Christmas, do not rely on dates given or customer service to resolve.

It has been almost a month, and I still have not received my item. I live in the USA, and FedEx said that have tried to contact Velo multiple times with no response to try to get my package cleared my customs. Please do yourself a factor and purchase through a more reputable vendor. I now just want my money back.
