Damaged delivery, missing items, and destructive customer service
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my experience with Vehi-mercatus, concerning order #1103305.
The problems began with the delivery. The package arrived with the box open and partially torn. As the recipient was not home, it was received by his mother. Upon checking the contents, we discovered that several items were missing:
1x Tricorn hat body Burgundy
1x Pilgrim or Felt hat green
This was a substantial order of almost 400 euros, and to receive it in such a state was unacceptable.
The customer service was equally disappointing. Despite informing them of the issues, their response was consistently to deflect responsibility, claiming it was a matter for DHL Spain and not their own. This complete lack of ownership and support was incredibly frustrating.
Furthermore, some of the items that did arrive were the wrong size. When I initiated a return, I was shocked to find that they charge €19.90 for a return shipping label! For a high-end retailer, this shows a true lack of empathy for the customer.
In summary, this is an expensive store with service that leaves much to be desired. From now on, I will be purchasing similar items from other retailers. They may not have the same quality, but they are much more affordable and, more importantly, their customer service and return policies are far superior and free of charge.
It's a real shame, but I cannot recommend Vehi-mercatus.
