5 stars! Despite arriving slightly late, the team worked incredibly fast, were collaborative, and guided us on how to assist effectively. They were very quiet, handled everything with great care, and ensured nothing was scratched or damaged. It was the most stress-free move I've ever had!

Out of the 17 moves I've had, this has been the most stress-free one by a large margin. The guys were very friendly and professional and took very good care of our stuff, helped us dismantle and reassemble our furniture, and provided advice regarding how much some minor repairs would cost. Highly, highly recommend.

The service, care, intelligence, thoughtfulness and efficiency that these guys provide was a genuine joy to experience. If there is a better removals team than Van With A Man in the whole of this fair nation of ours, I will eat my spare packing boxes.

They have the same fully kitted out vans with ropes, stays, blankets and padding galore that you with get with the big companies like Pickfords et al, but also the level of care they took over everything from the get-go meant that any worries we may have had about our stuff arriving in any less of a shiny state than when it set off were very soon allayed.

They were great on the phone arranging things beforehand, and called to say they were en route on the day. They arrived on time, went through the entire flat and worked out the safest and most efficient order to move everything down into the van to ensure it was safely transported and then went into the new place in the right order. And then with every item they carried, treated it as if it was their own, yet still worked quickly.

To give you an example, my prized money plant that over fifteen years has grown to over a meter wide and tall, and is very brittle and fragile, needed to be moved. I was expecting only half of it to survive, and yet it arrived at my new place without the loss of a single leaf or stem. A professional gardener friend of mine was gobsmacked, as was I. At the other extreme, I watched Rupert carry a sea chest on his shoulder down four flights of stairs that would have taken two normal men to handle, and all without leaving a mark anywhere. Except, perhaps, his shoulder.

They took great care of both the old and new properties, making sure that even though it was raining heavily they left not a footprint behind. They were also charming, funny, kind, polite, talented and interesting, , and just the antidote we needed after what had been a bruising few months of renovations and dealing with unreliable and lacklustre trades. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When they arrived I pretty much hated the new place, and by the time they'd moved us in I didn't mind it so much. I don't think it much of an exaggeration to say that they restored my faith, if not in the whole of humanity, certainly the part of humanity that involves itself with property exchange.

Still not convinced? Judging by the quotations I was getting from Clockwork etc, using Van With A Man will give you a better service whilst also saving you a fortune. Be sure to give them a tip out of those savings, as they will absolutely have earned it! Moving house is one of the most stressful of life's many events, and to have these guys take that stress away was worth its weight in gold.

So a shout out to Rupert, Fenwick, Jonathan, John and Rosey for a job incredibly well done. My only gripe? There's more than one of them on the team, so the company name doesn't really work. Ven With Men, anyone?

We are a research and development company making scientific instrumentation and industrial demonstrators, we recently held a showcase event down in London and needed to transport 10 years worth of extremely delicate equipment the length of the country. From our first engagement with Rupert and the company I knew we were in safe hands, with I would say, more care an attention than is often afforded by specialist and much more expensive equipment movers. Our logistics request was very bespoke and actually quite close to the event date due to being slightly let down by such companies but the attention to detail and backup plans to the backup plans offered by Van With A Man Glasgow were second to none. We were very impressed with the crew that turned up and the care in which they organised the packing of the van with often oddly shaped and carefully calibrated machines, everything was well secured and made it down to London and back quickly, safely and efficiently, and we will not hesitate to use them again in the future. The best service we have experienced in a long time.

As a company we have used Van With A Man Glasgow for several years now.
Small moves, larger moves, rather short notice small moves (!) - the team have been marvellous in providing us with a competent and courteous team who take great care with all items and who have never, ever, fallen short of the high bar they have set.
As long as you provide VWAM with a realistic timeline, an accurate description of the task involved, they will let you know if they can do the job and the reasonable price has always been commensurate to the task.
