V & Me have been a tremendous help to our family. As a working mom, having fresh food made daily for my little one is exactly what I've been looking for. Plus, I don't have to worry about nutrition since they collaborate with a nutritionist to craft their menu.

We have had a different experience…
We have had a different experience unfortunately even if we wanted to love it, we did not. Not only the baby did not like the food, but they delivered solid instead of smooth as originally ordered and thankfully instead of my baby eating it-he cannot yet- I did and I got food poisoning! Not to trust again for us! Hope it still works for others as the concept is good

Firstly, please accept my most sincere apologies for the experience that you have had. It must have been very unpleasant for you and worrying to think it could have been the baby!
This is a very serious complaint and the first that we have received in our 3-years operations. As you can understand, this has serious implications on our reputation and business. On the personal side I also use the service every day myself for my two young children. My husband and I started the business to try and make life easier for parents like us and we know how important it is for people to be able to trust our service. So both business wise and personally, we take safety and hygiene extremely seriously.
Our team has reached out to you but I also wanted to update you on the steps that we have taken to investigate this:
1. Checking record of quality and delivery time of supplies
2. Revisiting our safety records (including cooking and chilling times, fridge temperature controls, packaging times, etc.)
3. Other deliveries on the day (200+ meals were sent on the same day)
All above was in line with our standard and H&S regulations (we have a 5 star hygiene rating from FSA), and we have not received any other complaints.
We serve thousands of meals every week and whilst in our 3-year history we have not had an issue like this, we have an established protocol that I have summarised below:
- Our team freezes samples of the food that is served every day and runs microbiological tests periodically at accredited labs to identify any potentially harmful bacteria.
- To date, we have not identified anything so far in our historical testing.
- We have a sample of the food that was sent to you on the day. Head Chef Kwesi has organised a microbiological test to be run.
The test outcome will allow us to conclude if the food has had any chance of causing food poisoning and will be shared with you. But considering all the points above, I believe food poisoning as a result of our food is highly unlikely, and I am confident that the test will confirm this.
We as a team take a lot of pride in what we do and I would love to show you or speak with you about what we do, and showcase the very high self-imposed standards that we follow.

Healthy and fresh daily food for my child - i cannot recommend this company more! My daughter loves their food. And most of all gives me more time with my daughter as it saves me time of cooking fresh meals for her every day!
I have also tried their catering service for my daughter 2nd birthday and the service and food was great!

We have sent you a letter with more details but I also wanted to update you on the conclusions from our investigation and steps taken around:
1. Checking record of quality and delivery time of supplies
2. Revisiting our safety records (including cooking and chilling times, fridge temperature controls, packaging times, etc.)
3. Other deliveries on the day (200+ meals were sent on the same day)
The review has been conducted under the supervision and guidance of our retained Food Safety Advisor, who is a Fellow of the Society of Food Hygiene and Technology (FSOFHT), a Member of The Royal Society of Public Health (MRSPH) and a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), with over 40+ years professional experience in Food Safety, Legality, Quality & Integrity.
All above was in line with our standard and H&S regulations (we have a 5 star hygiene rating from FSA), and we have not received any other complaints.
We have also sent sample of the food from the day and random samples in the subsequent two weeks for microbiological analysis.
The test results all came back clean.
It is the considered opinion of our retained Food Safety Advisor, that this product would have been extremely unlikely to have resulted in any form of food poisoning or food borne infection in any consumer, whether an otherwise healthy adult, a baby, an infant, a child, elderly or immunocompromised person.
We as a team take a lot of pride in what we do and I hope this thorough analysis has showcased the very high self-imposed standards that we follow.

Worth every penny!
I’ve been using V&Me for around 4 months. The food is top quality and really tasty - the children love it and so do I! It is evident that great care is taken into getting the flavours right. It’s super healthy and totally sugar free and made perfectly for the age of the child so I know there’s no junk going into little tummies. As a result I have healthy children who are exceeding all developmental milestones, and are developing a broad palette for a wide range of tastes in both local food and food around the world. I can’t recommend this company enough - from the top executives to the delivery workers, everyone is so nice and friendly and quick to respond when I have a question or a change to make. I wish this company all the best and really hope they succeed! Please support this wonderful business as it deserves more customers. It’s worth every penny spent!

Amazing food for babies we will continue to use. This is our fifth baby and the best eater so far and we’re sure it’s down to such early exposure to a great, diverse menu I would never really think to feed him myself always but he loves!
