Pure garbage. Loud, heavy, terrible seal.

Backed this on kickstarter and never received the product. Company is a scam. Don’t do business with these fraudsters. They don’t reply to either friendly or more forceful emails.

Original Indigogo investor. The business seems to have dropped of the map shortly after the campaign closed and are no longer contactable. It appears the business was either a scam or went bankrupt without advising investors. Either way. Product was paid for and not received and communication was less than poor.

5 months ago, with the delivery already massively overdue, UVMask replied that they had "just contacted our order fulfilment team and asked them to ship your order to you as soon as possible. Once the tracking information is available, we will update you."

I still haven't received it, nor any reply to my most recent email.

Very very poor service and abysmal communication.

I have been waiting over two years. Every time I sent a nice email about my order status they stated it would ship soon. When I asked them if it was a scam, they did not return my email. I take that as confirmation. Do NOT do business with this company!

NEVER got product, they did respond to ONE of my MANY phone calls and said it would be shipping in 2 weeks -- NEVER got shipped, never responded to me after that

This is a scam. I supported this company with purchases in kickstarter. I never received the product. Been waiting for a refund. Here's their response:

"We are still working on your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries which cause a delay. Although we work as fast as we can, unfortunately, we cannot promise that your refund request will be processed sooner than in 180 days."

I recycle. I have reusable grocery bags. I bought an electric car. I'm all about limiting waste and protecting our planet as much as possible while we still can. I have become disgusted by all the disposable masks blowing around in the parking lots and on sidewalks. I also realized that I had lost my own disposable masks a few times. So I wanted to confront what I believe is a big issue with the masks. They could do slightly more R&D on this, but overall I think they have a great concept and I feel good about using it.

I agree with people that the fan noise is a little loud but I'm not much of a talker at work, so I don't mind.

I supported UV masks in November 2020 with a contribution for two UV masks and 209 USD. The delivery took really long, but at last, in late Apriil 2021, the two masks arrived. They proved to be unusable: Very heavy and clunky, noisy in use. Very difficult to breathe with. An unusable product.
I asked for a refund, and after long negotiation the company agreed. I shipped the product back to the UV maks headquarter for an expensive additional amount. But the package was never accepted by the company, US postal services tried in vain. Also the reimbursement never happened. I tried to contact the company to no avail, they stopped responding to my mails. A very unpleasant experience.
If you try to contact them via the 1-800 number that they provide on their website, you only get the message "this number is not in service". I wonder if the company still exists.

I bought two UM Masks in September and have used them ever since. The wife and me actually used them at a music festival a few weeks back and we had no issues. Felt really safe. The fit wasn't great at first, but I can trade a little comfort for more safety.

My husband bought me two of these masks after I kept going through so many disposable ones and I really like them! A little tight at first but I figured out how to adjust it and now I wear this every day and expect to continue wearing it for awhile.

It really depends where you live in the US right now. Maybe in SoCo everyone is vaxxed but where I am it's a different story. I still need a mask I can use every day for all these anti-vaxxers and I like that this one is reusable.

I ordered a few of these masks, hundreds of dollars worth. I never received anything from the company. I ordered the masks December 2020, now December 2021. I emailed company, nothing. I requested a refund, numerous times, nothing. Clearly I got scammed hard. I can prove it all, can provide my Kickstarter info, copies of emails I sent.

I don't know what every one else is talking about. These masks work great. Certainly better than those disposable ones that everyone thinks are great but are actually just trash that doesn't do anything to really protect you at all.

I had to fiddle around with the mask when I got it. Wasn't sure about it first, but after some troubleshooting I now use it all the time when I'm out and about like at the grocery or the movie theater.

I will admit the noise of the fan on these things is too loud. But I only use this for my job, which is loud and I don't really have to talk to my coworkers, so this mask actually works fine for me.

This mask is exactly what I ordered. It's reusable, high-quality, and will save me money in the long run from all those disposables. In terms of comfort, it could probably be improved a little for those who need to use it for day-long work shifts, but it's still a solid mask.
