Received my shoes in excellent condition. Shipping time was as described. Although I did not like the color of the shoe and had to return them, the process was very easy, and communication was fast.

Great fit. Nice upper and sole construction. Wish insole was removable.

I have purchased wool runners and then wool sneakers. My feet are horrible. Too much dancing in stilettoes during my youth. My new shoes are soothing and comfortable, especially with the orthotics that were purchased from your company which fit both pair of shoes. I will never have happy feet again, but at least they are happier in my Giesswein.

I ordered shoes and I loved them, but my instep is too high and I had to return them. So sorry, b/c I loved them. The return went very smoothly.

Love the shoes. I wear size 15 (48) and have found it difficult to find wool shoes in this size. The shoes are awesome and the very fact they are available in large sizes is even better.

2020 made me a skipper aficionado---now that Spring is here, I knew I have to trade in my Northface Thermoballs--I did a lot of research--looking for rubber soles, pure wool, and responsible sourcing---and found Giesswein! So glad that I did--love the lightweight feel and style (cool orange soles!). Fits true to size (or a smidge short--so if you are a 1/2 size you might want to go up to the nearest whole size). Love them.

Beautiful shoes. Well built with quality wool. Very soft and easy on my disfigured feet. Unfortunately my one bunion was too wide and rested on the sole. I couldn’t wait for them to be delivered. Was so sad that I couldn’t wear them.

Quality is very good, will buy again. Sizing a bit of problem, I have EU size 39, US size 10 too large.

I ordered the wrong size! My fault. They actually are true to size. See the chart, use it and believe it. It was disappointing to have to send them back but the company made is very easy and quick! I reordered my size and I am excited to receive my new shoes. They are a quality product. Worth the money! I can see myself ordering many more pairs of shoes.

Nice feel good light weight, but a little too big

My introduction to the Giesswein brand was a pair of slippers I received for Christmas. I was so surprised that they were so comfortable and warm. I had doubts about boiled wool. ..not anymore. They have held up well and any stain is removed with brushing or light wiping. More importantly they are so comfortable .
I have since ordered 2 pairs of shoes and can only say that ,once again, they are comfortable and the soles provide more than adequate support .

Streamlined and positive from start to finish. Delivery quick and efficient. Return and refund without issue. Product quality exceptional. The only reason for my return was around sizing. I find Giesswein products to run a tad small and now understand I need to order the next larger size for an optimal fit.

Giesswein is a great company to deal with. I was able to try their merino wool slippers and also return them with no problem. I wish the footbed had worked for me because the slippers were very nice.

The most comfortable athletic shoe I’ve owned. And handsome too
