THE WORST CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE IN 35…

THE WORST CAR RENTAL EXPERIENCE IN 35 YEARS OF BUSINESS AND PLEASURE TRAVEL!

The Austin, TX office is 6 miles from the airport. There is ZERO signage at the airport regarding where to pick up the shuttle.

The office is grossly understaffed and EXTREMELY busy so it took more than 90 minutes to get the vehicle. The vehicle reserved was not available.

The staff member identified body damage on the passenger side and said I needed to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas. I DID NOT INSPECT THE VEHICLE WITH THE STAFF MEMBER AND THAT WAS A MISTAKE! I noticed that the car held only a quarter tank of gas so I took a picture of the dashboard fuel gauge and returned to the office to correct the record.

The "windshield wiper fluid is low" warning message along with "check engine" light came on within 2 blocks of the office. I did not return to the chaotic scene at the office and hoped for the best. We immediately went to eat at a restaurant nearby and upon exiting the vehicle, noticed body damage on the driver's side as well. I FAILED TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE.

We traveled locally for three days and had no issues with the vehicle.

I returned the car early Sunday morning and was required to complete an incident report for the driver's side damage that was on the car at pickup and was not my responsibility.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!

Please think twice before renting from…

Please think twice before renting from them. They got me but I will never book with them again. They reminds me of spirit airlines, which they started of cheap and then hit you with tons of fees. Yes, they will get you plus you have to take a shuttle to them in Orlando. With little time I had no choice otherwise I’ll would had taken the lost and had saved from those fees they come up with. Anyway, think twice before booking bc it’s none refundable

They would not rent me a car because…

They would not rent me a car because some search they did say my license" MAY" be suspended in a month because i moved to a new state. I needed a car for 6 hours, that's it. I ended up haiving to Uber myself around town. Agent was very slow, and not helpful

AVOID!!

Easirent is atrocious. They didn't have the car I reserved - didn't have any car at all - so my family and I were stuck at the airport with no transportation. And easirent did exactly nothing to help resolve the situation or offer any assistance. What's the point of even making a reservation if this is how it goes?

DO NOT be tempted to check it out for yourself - you'll regret it

It's a fraudulent company

It's a fraudulent company that double charges customers, nobody answers customer service phone number and their email address returns an error message. I have been trying to contact them to complain about their charge, but it has been impossible. I definitely don't recommend Easirent

I reserved an economy car but they had none available when I got there

I reserved an economy car. I called twice to go over my reservation and to make sure the price I was quoted was accurate. When I got there, they had no economy cars available and could only rent me something that was more than double what I thought I was going to be paying!! I was super upset that happened to me. Especially where I thought I was doing my due diligence by calling twice to go over my reservation. "Easirent" more like "Easily fooled if you rent".

Like all the other reviews state

Like all the other reviews state, stay clear of this company!! I don't even know how they are still in business! I rented a car for pick up at West Palm Beach airport on November 29th, 2023. Their email reservation advises you that upon arrival at airport, proceed to the car rental shuttle pick up area and call the number they provide. After waiting for over 30 minutes and calling the number 4 different times, nobody answered nor came to pick me up. I asked the security guard on duty at the shuttle area if he was familiar with this EASIRENT company & he just shook his head and laughed. He said everyone has a problem with this company!! I had to go back into terminal & ended up renting from Hertz, who's shuttle immediately picked me up and took me to their facility at the off-site rental car facility for every rental car company, except of course the EASIRENT??? The woman at the Hertz counter also stated that she has had many complaints about EasiRent!! Do they even exist? I'm currently disputing the charges with my credit card. I hope these useless thieves suffer a horrible bankruptcy!!

Don't use

Flew into DFW rental was thru love-field, had no idea you had to pay for your own transportation to get your rental. DFW and Love field don't help one another. The DFW shuttle couldn't take us 9 miles. The DFW staff were extremely Rude and gave me a card if a guy they claim to use that said would be cheaper than an Uber called he said, "it works be $45-60 depending on traffic " OH MY GOODNESS no its only 9 miles. Took card back in and said you trying to scam me? Called four an Uber and it was $14 +tip. Not sure how to get ahold of the owner and let them know what horrible mean people they have representing their office in Dallas. However I experienced the exact opposite with the Love-field location Margo was so accommodating and professional! I will probably not use this company again

STEER CLEAR

I was short on time and the process was rather tedious with trying to get their website to work while sitting in front of the staff. Fees ontop of fees with a side of FEES. I was given a vehicle that hadn’t be cleaned - I was told it’s been sitting- also with a large crack in the windshield and the fuel on a quarter tank amidst dents scratches and dings. Stains throughout the car and a marijuana smell. It’s disheartening but if I weren’t short on time I would’ve went elsewhere.

DO NOT RENT HERE! THEY JUST DON'T CARE

Had to wait forever for the bus to take me to the building, then after that, I ended up getting charged $100 more than I wanted because of some fee that they never told me about. AVOID this car rental place, they are HORRIBLE! VERY unprofessional.

This is the worst car rental company we…

This is the worst car rental company we have ever seen before. The reason why we said that is because I recently rented a car at this company. When we arrived at the DFW airport we attempted to call customer service100 times to send a shuttle to pick us up at the DFW Airport, but no one picked up the phone, so we had to take an Uber to get there. Hopefully, the owner will see this review and make some adjustments to the employees to make sure they follow the company policy. Otherwise, there will be losing customers. Finally, I will never rent a car at this company again.

Do Not Use This Company

No cars available at the time of my confirmed reservation. Waiting room was packed full of people waiting for cars. Was told there would be a 2+ hour wait, and could not guarantee a car at all. I had a wedding to attend, and had to rent another car from a different provider. Easirent told me to call corporate for a refund. Corporate denied refund.

DO NOT RENT HERE THEY WILL EXTORT YOU
The two check in people were both extremely rude. They both demanded
Liability insurance policy. I told the I did not have a copy with me sine I am flew in to Texas from California. After telling them tha my credit card provided collision and theft. They still demanded full coverage insurance. I was able to call my wife and she provided me wit the policy # and coverage end date. I gave that info to her. The lady at the check in demanded proof via a photo copy. I told her my wife did not have a cell phone to send and Mercury insurance who I am insured with was closed being a Sunday. They refused to rent to me until I showed proof. Policy # and expiration date was not good enough for both of them I told them that when I booked trough Expedia this proof was not required.They were bent on extorting money for Liability insurance even though. I currently have it. I was forced to give them my credit card since I felt that I was stranded with 5 pieces of luggage on me. I told them that I will call their main office to report this extortion.

Too much of a hassle

My flight came in early am on July 17. I had my insurance card with me but it was not good enough. I had to wait until my insurance company in California was open so the clerks at Easirent can verify my insurance. I have never been hassled this much at other car rentals. I should have known better when I had to take another shuttle to get to their Easirent location.

Plus,the two girls at the desk were not friendly at all. They looked irritated from the beginning of our interactions. It was uncomfortable being there. Never again!

Stay away from these rip-off scam scums 100%

I'd made a reservation to cancel the very next day, and because I pre-paid they have a "no refund policy" and kept my $162.98 for a so called one year credit. I won't ever never rent from these rip-off trash. Stay away from these scums scams.

STAY AWAY FROM EASIRENT

STAY AWAY FROM EASIRENT! This company is a shlock operation. You wait at the airport and wait and wait till the shuttle van comes to pick you up. We landed Charlotte, called Easirent 3 times within a half an hour first 2 times we got thru and the customer service rep said the shuttle is on its way- a LIE! Called again, same thing- 3rd time - We couldnt get thru and it went to voice mail. Finally after 35 minutes of waiting this shuttle finally appeared. RETURN of car. We had to wait till someone opened the warehouse. They open at 8am mind you. We return the keys then wait some more for the shuttle driver to show up. Its now 8:25 this driver was supposedly due at 8am, ANOTHER LIE FROM THIS COMPANY! My husband asked the 1 person working their when is the Shuttle driver coming and they answer from this worker was If I was you I would call a Uber! If I was you I would stay with the established companies we all are familiar with. NEVER EVER AGAIN WITH EASIRENT. WE LEARNED A LESSON.

It appears you get what you pay for

It appears you get what you pay for. I read some reviews and it appears that many thought they was getting a great deal. That's why one should always know you get what you pay for in life. Probably seen the low cost per day and thought this was going to be spectacular and ended up having a nightmare. Things that don't cost much in life, ain’t really worth the headaches.

Bait and Switch Service

I booked and prepaid 3rd party through T-Mobile, online. I called Easirent customer service prior to my arrival to find out deposit options and was told of a different price I could request at the desk. Upon arrival I relayed this information and was told the deposit price given was for local rentals only. I needed the vehicle to go from Dallas to Houston. And was then told I'd have to proceed with the $500 deposit. Since they could not honor what I was initially told by phone the woman initiated my $124 refund in store and I left in an Uber. This all occurred within several hours of the booking time. Not only did it cost me more money to leave and get there, they then proceeded to STEAL and keep my $124 *without providing any service* by cancelling the refund initially made in the store. As someone who has worked in customer service and worked hard for my money. This definitely is not it. Take heed and don't waste your time or money on this BAIT AND SWITCH company.

SCAM!! HORRIBLE COMPANY TO RENT FROM

HORRIBLE COMPANY TO RENT FROM! A complete SCAM! I rented a car from the West Palm Beach area and it was horrible service. They do NOT have an area at the airport to pick up the car, so you have to wait to be picked up by their shuttle (we waited over 1-hour before they arrived). Once we arrived at the car rental location, we waited in line for 1-hour because there was only one person working. I had called ahead of time to rent a car seat for our 7-month old and upon arrival the gentleman working told me he wasn't sure if he had one, but I could have someone hold our 7-month old in the backseat while I drove to the store to purchase one.
They advertise low rates and then hit you with all these unexpected fees. Also charged my credit card two months after my rental for another fee which they would not provide a receipt for. SCAM!

The worst customer service I've ever…

The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Currently on the phone waiting for 2.5 hours. Once got a representative and she hang up on me ! it's now who is more patient: me or them. I am retired and can be on the phone all day. They lied to us that the tolls on the roads don't accept cash (Orlando, FL). They do it to EVERYONE. I paid $10+ a day for that.. Don't believe them. Terrible company.
