While I’m not a huge jewelry person, I’ve accumulated a few nice pieces over the years via inheritance and as gifts. After learning about Unvault and having some awareness about the increasing price of gold, I decided to upload a few pieces out of sheer curiosity. After getting instant valuations through the website, I was hooked and ended up adding all my items. It was fascinating and kind of addicting to get a clear picture of what my pieces were worth, even though I wasn’t really interested in parting with most of them. While I consider myself pretty financially responsible and savvy, I’ve always had it in the back of my head that I could sell some jewelry if times got tough. Unvault finally put a number to this notion, which was really helpful. Ultimately I ended up selling 5 pieces to Unvault right when gold hit a high earlier this year.
