United pop is dishonest about what they're actually offering. The manager just tries to sell you courses or a contract but doesn't really know what the courses entail. It's really weird because it seems nice but then they get you.
During your studies you learn from "industry professionals" which ranges from "professionals" who just finished their Bachelor and actual pros. I would not recommend this place. There's also a weird vibe but least the shops outside are nice.

Honestly, please if you read this and are considering UPOP-- DON'T. Extremely unprofessional, and all they care about is your money. Just like a recent review written here, they kept the students in the dark about the financial problems at the "Mother" school but since the "Mother"" school is bankrupt that also means their contract with the accredited univeristy has ended. They haven't paid some teachers since the end of 2023, and are still currently taking students on which really should be illegal since some students are taking legal action to get their money back since they cannot supply the Bachelors degree like they've promised.

What a disorganised and dishonest mess, I found out the mother company had to file for insolvency and is bankrupt. But no news from the Amsterdam UPOP, they try to hide it and sceme and keep us in the dark about it all.

The reference number (Aktenzeichen) of the Insolvency at the district court Munich (Amtsgericht München) is 1509IN3551/23.

Can not believe this cold company doesn't care enough about their students to be honest. Could've known by their sales tactics and lack of transparency when in their meetings.

i had a very bad experience, they oversell and under-deliver, and it's not the professors it's the schedules and course configuration itself. the courses are not 6 months as they tell, more so 4- 4 1/2, so total of max 18 lessons. the material is express pushed on you and YOU DEFINITELY NEED A GOOD KNOWLEDGE BASE BEFORE ENROLLING, otherwise you not getting the worth of your money. to get out it's impossible. They just MAKE you feel obligated to continue and pay absurd amounts. for experienced artist could be an opportunity for knowing same desperate beings as them so could be a collaboration. my advise is there is many more courses that are more worthy.

I have tried many different schools that didn't work out. UnitedPOP though? Is one of the best schools I've attended. All the teachers are around your age and have the same vibration as you. They are very understanding and very helpful.
I'm very glad I came here cause it also made me realize more what I want to do with life.
I really want to thank everybody there, from teachers to tech support.

United Pop has been the place where I feel at home! I was always scared to pursue my dream about making music but after I attended an open day and had the chance to talk with professionals in the field I fell in love and hosnestly it was the best decision I could make in my whole life! I’m super happy as a student here and the school honestly feels like a home to me.

I’m very happy with the content of the courses at UnitedPop Amsterdam. These courses and studies have help me to setup my own production company. It's a really great school if you are someone who can learn through experience and focus on the things you want to learn. For me, schools were always a struggle because their system is always the same, teaching things I'm not even going to use in my life. But United Pop is different. First of all, they genuinely care about the students, so everyone is really helpful, whether it's personal or about the school and lessons. The teachers are really nice and helpful. I'm a slow learner myself and need a bit of a push, so they were kind and understanding about it, helping me with my studies. I also like the equipment they use and the location; it's really chill and home-like. So, I would highly recommend it if your thinking to attend the courses.

Kind of Nice till the time to sign out. I had sent resignation mail at July, the courses where about to finish at August, since everything started,The first student advaisor said that I have to pay any way the foul semester + 500euro fee. I took the contact number finatial office in Germany.ofcours it didnt worked (I wanted it to keep just the one class out of the tow till the end). I didn't went for the examination (as i had some problems with my health, that didn't let me follow the classes). I was waiting for my resignation to pass throught.At August, Ι recived a call if i would like to to sign up for the appcoming semester the appcoming month, I never said yes to it, but they sign me in anyway without me knowing, I just saw money to run out of my account like, I am taking the classes without me to be there. (note: we had the right to choose if we will to continew directly or in April.but still i have said writen I want it to stop. I was calling to understnt what it is happening, only one lady gave propper time and she undertood that the first student advaisor she said lies in order to caver her mystake (on her supprise just thougth loud ''but you are telling me the truth'' she understood that that was loud but too late) like I avoided paying at the first place ''the money went outomaticly to them so that was not possible), she even got supprise When I told her how i got the number for the Germany as the storry was diffrent in many aspects. While all this confution, the money contineus to run out of my acount, the student advasor just saying their oppinion but, nobody knew the rulls, and my number got blocked from Germany. I couldn't reach them anymore. Finaly I got the aproved on refund as i sended them my resignation mail again, so I prooved that i did the steps correct from the very bigining. Buttttttt the money never came back to me, and my mails never been anwerd again. while that I receved mail remaider that i need to pay for the whole semester that I haven't done yet.(outo payment so it dosn't make sence ''i got panic attact till to realise that they can not take more money from me.'' since I got an invoice to pay the 200euro Fee of the resignetion.

My experience actually was from 2015 when I started my courses at United POP - a great decision that prepared me for the industry and the jobs that followed. The courses are a mixed construct of active classes with a professional and self-study. I love that those curses are not taught by actual teachers with textbook knowledge, but professionals from the industry, who are working in the field and take time off to teach the next generation with the facts that actually work in the real life industry. The academy does not gift you an education. If you are not working hard on assignments and tasks, you will not pass the courses, but if you are passionate and grind, you will thrive. The administration is not always easy, but the Campus team is always kind and supportive, listens to problems and works on a fix as fast as possible.
I loved being a student in this place. It gave me the tools and the drive to follow my passion and now I'm working in the music industry - a dream come true. Thank you guys!

United POP Amsterdam is a Wonderfull learning environment where you can learn almost anything you want, and they will never complain when you're late in class! They have beautiful and high tech equipment for every course they offer. It is very organised and everything always goes smoothly.

Great facility with state of the art equipment and passionate lecturers.

You will not gonna disappointed with this school. People are really friendly and always ready to help with every problem.

I was looking for a program that would allow me to study music while working my full-time job and ended up enrolling for the Songwriting diploma. Now that I'm done I can happily say that I gained a lot of knowledge from a bunch of skilled teachers and I have a good foundation to continue studying on my own, since that never ends. Recommended!

P.S. It helps to already know one instrument, but it's not a requirement.

Lots of good experiences here, very kind staff and everyone always seems open for new ideas/opportunities! All the equipment, studio spaces and knowledge is there. Would recommend!

The school has a dedicated and passionate staff, making for a great learning environment. Although not directly located in the heart of Amsterdam's music industry, the location still gives a strong sense of being at the center of it all.

Excellent staff, teachers and equipment. Course takes you from the very basic to the very advanced, something for everyone.
