All the flights I booked were successfully confirmed, and the price was unbeatable — I was genuinely so pleased. They truly made my dream holiday come true, and I can’t thank them enough for that.
Everything was booked exactly as it should have been — there were no missing flight legs, no missing checked luggage, and even a meal was added to the Jetstar flight to Bali, which was a really nice and unexpected touch considering it’s a low-cost airline.
The only slight issue was the communication after booking. I wasn’t sure what was happening for about an hour before I received the confirmation email, which made me feel a little uncertain at the time. I also reached out through the WhatsApp business account with a few queries, but unfortunately I didn’t get a response.
That said, the service they provided was excellent overall, and despite that little hesitation at the beginning, I would definitely use Underpricer again.

Took my money, assigned wrong seats, refused to fix it
This is probably my first, and hopefully only, negative review online, but given how absolutely awful of an experience I've had with underpricer I feel like I need to let prospective travelers know about what they're getting themselves in for.
Firstly, the good. They did provide very competitive pricing for flights, and the customer support agents are polite. But that's about all the good I can say.
Now for the bad, and my saga over the last 4-5 weeks. On Valentines day, my wife and I decide we'll book flights to England from Canada. These are multiple legs stopping in Toronto and Dublin both directions. We went through Kayak as we've heard good things about them, and we find the near perfect flights. Now, the only issue with these flights is that there are fairly short layovers after the international portions of our trips such that I'm worried we're not going have time to run across YYZ airport to get from the the international gate to the regional gate. With that in mind we booked our flights and tried to select the seat selection option for those two flights. Little did we know this was where things would start going wrong.
I was expecting that after the payment screen I'd be shown the seat plans of the planes so that we could optionally select or upgrade seating. This did not happen.
Then I thought: maybe they'll send a seat selection email. Did not happen.
A few days later I contact them via their online portal and whatsapp. No response.
A few days after that, I get a phone call, text message, and email from a representative offering all the standard upgrades including seat selection. And here was my mistake: I assumed they'd send me a seat map to pick from, like I'm accustomed to from airline websites, and that I'd get options to pick my seat at a cost that I was comfortable with.
Instead I receive an emailed seat selection offer of $360 for all flights and still no seat selection. I replied that we don't need seat selection on all the flights. They get back to me quite quickly and offered $171 for the two international flights. I agreed, but we were still waiting for when I could select the seats, and kept following up asking if we could pick our seats.
Two days later we get assigned seats near the back on both flights.
When I raised this, what followed was four weeks of stalling and being strung along for days at a time with responses like "I'll ask my team and get back to you".
There were questions I'd asked along the way that went unanswered. All while I kept restating the same preferences I'd given from day one.
When they finally came back with options, weeks later, the answer was along the lines of "we stalled too long and now the only seats available cost extra on top of the $171 you already paid." I then started asking for other options and was again met with more stalling.
I eventually asked them to fix their mistake and cover the upgrade since a month later all the seats, that I would have picked had I been given the option up front, were full. They refused.
I feel like I wasn't being heard the entire time, and their agents were always pushing upgrades on me, and when I made it clear I wouldn't be paying any more it's instantly "then I don't think we can help you".
Underpricer does not care about their customers, they only care about extracting as much money out of you, and frustrating you at every turn. I'm uncertain if what I experienced was due to incompetence, or a misunderstanding, or just a lack of integrity to fix their own mistakes, but this is quite possibly the worst experience I've ever had with a company, and I strongly recommend planning trips with another company.

I requested and received a refund in the following few days after this review, but that still doesn't change the fact that this whole thing could have been avoided earlier had underpricer allowed me to pick my seats or at least given me a seat map with prices attached like is standard when booking online.

Questionable money grabbing pricing practices
A friend and I had booked a Turkish Airlines flight to Kyrgyzstan through Underpricer. It was part of a delegation trip, but unfortunately, the trip was canceled due to war. Although the ticket policy allowed us to change the flight date or travel plan for $135, Underpricer was extremely restrictive and insisted that we select the same flight plan. In contrast, others who had booked the same ticket class directly through Turkish Airlines were able to change their plans without any destination restrictions. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a flight ticket purchase, and underpricer took the entire ticket price, which was over $1400 per ticket.
I even attempted to contact Turkish Airlines directly, despite their policy permitting changes to flights for any comparable destination, even after multiple requests. Underpricer refused to relinquish control of the ticket to Turkish Airlines. If they had released the ticket to Turkish Airlines, I could have easily changed the flight for a future trip and would have never had to deal with Underpricer again, which is precisely what the company prevented.
I also want to mention that the underpricer customer service personnel are very cordial and friendlyy on the phone. They sound very customer-oriented and seem willing to work with you, especially when they see an opportunity to collect processing fees or change fees. However, in reality, their primary goal is to squeeze as much money out of the customer as possible. Wish there was an option to give no star!

Untrustworthy company
Untrustworthy company. The agents will lie to you about flight changes and will not respond to questions when you need assistance. They only reach out when they want to upsell tickets. Genuinely a terrible experience and will avoid Kayak/ underpricer in the future. Beware, if you have an issue with your flight, they will make it worse.

Please avoid this company. I was overcharged a fee for seat selection that was included in my ticket price. Underpricer charged me for that seat selection although I was ultimately able to enter in my own reservation and make changes FOR FREE. Scammers is the only thing I can say. and 200$ scammers, so really good ones!

Disceptive, unethical, disappointing
This was a terrible experience. First I was duped into using this "agency" from Kayak, thinking I just checked out on Kayak. Then the airline cancelled my flight and instead of offering me the option of a refund, they told me that I was at risk of not getting a full-refund (which is a lie, and against the rules of the US Dept of Transportation) and I had to choose this alternative flight, which I expressed multiple times I did not like. They did not disclose any policy for same-day flight change either. Completely unethical and unapologetic company and I would highly suggest anyone to avoid using them at all costs.

Bad experience
Unfortunately, had a very bad experience. I was directed to Underpricer from Kayak.com to buy a ticket for my daughter from Dublin to DC. Underpricer and Gurufare are technically two different companies but at least share the same customer service team. Their communications are very similar and the websites are the same but with different branding. Both companies charged me for the one ticket. I did not realize this since they only confirmed the one ticket until I saw my bank statement. When I contacted them, they passed me back and forth between the two companies and never came to a resolution. When I called their customer service the same person could handle calls for both companies. So if you are sent to one of these two companies from Kayak, confirm immediately if they do not both charge you. If you catch it in the first 24hrs you can fix it. They do not seem interested in resolving this situation for me so I’ll avoid these companies for the foreseeable future

After purchasing tickets through this agency, a one-letter typo appeared in two passengers’ surnames on the ticket. The agency repeatedly stated that the only solution was to cancel the tickets and reissue them at the current fare, which would have resulted in a very significant additional cost.
After contacting United Airlines directly, a reservations agent confirmed that the tickets remain valid for travel, that the Secure Flight information already matches the passports, and that a note confirming the correct spelling has been added to the reservation. No cancellation or reissue was required.
This situation caused unnecessary stress and required considerable time to resolve. I would have expected clearer information and more careful handling of the reservation.
