Igor was very thorough and did an exceptional job replacing my compressor. He was also a pleasure to work with.
I felt the estimate of $1500 to repair compressor was too much. Wasn’t sure about the warranty either. I did appreciate the ease with which I was able to cancel the service.
UltraFix came out in March to repair the latch on my dishwasher. In June, it was broken again. A second person from UltraFix came out, said it was broken and needed to be replaced. I reminded him of the warranty on parts was three months. He made a phone call and suddenly, he was able to fix the latch. His fix lasted less than 48-hours. I am giving one star because they charged me for the last service call and refunded my money upon request. They started strong, but I would not hire again.

It was an easy repair on a 5 year old gas range. Parts were available on multiple, reputable, spare part websites. However, UltraFix said they could not find the parts from their "trusted" supplier. They get to take their trip fee as profit and walk away. Just get the parts from a different source!!!

We got murdered. In the end, we didn't do our due diligence, so it's on us. But they charged us $1300 to install what ended up to be a $100 part and 30 minutes of work. THEN Charged us $500 to clean the fridge components, THEN wanted $5000 to replace the fridge components. We called in Hauck Appliance and had our refrigerator fixed for $200. We just bought the house, had a ton of contractors in and out and they totally took advantage of us. Then tried to slide us cards to do side work to steal from the company they work for. No idea how they sleep at night.

They came and charged $85 and said that my dishwasher was very very bad (I got less than 2 years ago)… to fix it, they charged $287 to replace some pieces. My friend who does not understand that much came, reset the machine watching a youtube video and it’s working again. SCAM!!
Dishwasher still leaking. I contacted repair person to let them know and he asked for a video. I had to take the panel off myself to take a video of the leak. He said we would be put on the schedule this week. It’s Thursday and I haven’t heard back. I sent the video last Saturday and he was notified it was still leaking last Friday. We paid over $500 for the repair.
First they came out and said I needed a whole new ice maker for $400+. Came and installed, didn’t work. Called them back, they came, worked on it and it worked for a day. Called them AGAIN, they came out and it finally worked for a few months! 3 to be exact! No longer working!! Called them AGAIN only to be told it is out of warranty!! This is ridiculous! How can a company treat people like this?? I paid them upfront for nothing! Call someone else don’t waste your money!
Always a good experience, they’re timely and transparent with communication.
1. Technician showed up on 4/4 without giving an ETA text as they promised they would do so.
2. Needed a part for the repair; ordered and received 50% payment before he left.
3. He informed repair will be done within 5 business days. Today is 4/10 (4th business days); no news from UltraFix.
4. I called and was told there was no part being ordered and no technician came to my home to diagnose any appliances!
5. I then provided invoice # for the 50% payment. The person on the phone suddenly was able to see my information!
6. Not sure if the part was actually ordered on 4/4 or 4/10 after I called.
Conclusion:
My first time using UltraFix after I called LG and was given contact. Will not use UltraFix anymore; going back to my usual good old Sears Repairs.
