I did not received my order within 3 days, even today I write them a mail but they don't answer. The phone number is also not working
I should have read the reviews here before ordering...Customer service is very rude and very poor quality. Never again.
still horible service, sending items you canceled not answering mails. .. too bad they have some nice but terribly overpriced clothes, but returns and refunds and getting someone even to answer your mail is a pain and soo not worth it, when you return clothes, they do give you conformation of wrong return clothes, when yo correct them they take forewer to retun your monay. i have been waiting for a month now. Todaj as i edit the rewiev, they charged me for two outstanding orders for clothes, they informed me, are not in stock, and cannot be sent, but yet, they just charged me and JUST DENIED they charged. do not. use. this. seller. I am done with them now, when they refund money they owe me.
I ordered two items. They were too large, my error. I called to one item sent in the appropriate size.
The other item was the wrong color so I requested the correct color in the appropriate size.
I was told that I would have to pay more as the items were not on sale any longer. I didn't want a refund, just an exchange. I cancelled the order and hope I get the refund as requested.
I received a sweatshirt with a hole in the pocket. I supplied photos the same day I received the item to customer service. I’m being asked to return the defective item? I’m still waiting on refunds for 3 orders I returned via UPS 10-29-2021. I was asked to provide UPS tracking numbers, items numbers etc. Fortunately, I kept all invoices & copies of UPS return receipts. It’s shameful this co can’t reimburse in a timely fashion, lost track of my returned items & now wants me to return a defective hoodie? I have no confidence in their return process. Did they lose the returned merchandise?
I’m going to grieve on my cc. The person I’m corresponding with in customer service is asking me to provide her with more detailed info? If you can’t refund for returned items using ups numbers your co provided me, you should stop selling merchandise. If you can’t refund a customer, who shops regularly with you, for a hoodie with a hole in the pocket & photos substantiating the defect ... you’re either dishonest, incompetent or a combination of both... it’s a shame because I have a lot of lovely clothing I’ve bought from them...I just can’t believe the runaround I’m getting on this.... it’s confounding to me.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years. The quality of their clothes and designs and licensing of names you could never get in your size before are very good.
But they absolutely hate their customers. They have no processes for sending shipping notifications, so if they send to the wrong address, you won’t know until your product is already back with them.
And if you use Paypal, they’ll claim they never even charged you for the product they sent you, so you’ll have to buy again. You can send emails with screenshots and bank statements, but no one will take a bit of notice.
I had to just file the claim with Paypal and escalate it that way. I mean for them to acknowledge that they sent the order to the wrong address, then refuse to even refund me because they don’t think they charged me, makes no sense. If they hadn’t charged me, they wouldn’t have sent the order. If they hadn’t charged me, there’d be no claim to even file with Paypal.
Their customer service is below the bare minimum. Like the other review said, you place the order, and then what happens next is pot luck. They weren’t like this before, and I suspect they might be on their way out of business.
Terrible experience. I didn’t receive the item I ordered so I opened a dispute via Paypal. Then I received an email saying my payment didn’t go through and they want me to pay again! I don’t think I’ll be paying twice for absolutely nothing. I have asked for a refund but no response so far. From other reviews it looks like this is not a one-off - wish I’d read them before I ordered. Avoid them like the plague!
I'm absolutely furious and I've had a horrendous experience shopping with Ulla Popkin. I've give them ZERO stars everywhere if I could.
Firstly, items that were available to buy on their website, were not charged or sent with an order as apparently they were out of stock, but I was given zero notice of that, and had to contact customer service to find out why I hadn't been charged for or sent the item.
But then those items were magically still in stock on the website and I was able to order separately, costing me shipping again for what should have been in my previous order.
That then set a president that I didn't know if my orders had gone through, and I ended up with two of the same items ordered, and when immediately asking for one to be cancelled, there was a delay in reply to eventually be told it's shipped and would have to return it if I didn't want it, despite I wasn't notified of it actually shipping for another few days.
When they arrived, the clothes them selves are poor quality and shape for the price they are. When I end up returning items (which I ALSO had to pay for return shipping), their customer service was absolutely abysmal and just stopped replying when no refunds were actually issued. I had to go through paypal to get my money back for the items returned.
To add insult to injury when I left a bad review on one item, they then more than halved the price from £85 which I paid IN FULL, to £42.
THEN they started sending me e-mails and letters telling me I OWED them money for the returns! When trying to explain all the above mentioned to them, they didn't even respond to my e-mails and kept sending the same letter and e-mails telling me to pay them or they'll be sending debt collectors. All for £27.95 which was for a returned item!
Never shopping with them again, disgusting garbage service, below average clothes at best and vulturous practices. I've never had such a outrageously bad experience and probably the only company I've ever ended up hating.
Although Ulla Popken, have had some really good things in, they are, as everyone knows, very expensive.
In the last days of December '20 I ordered some items in the sale. The only way I can afford them.
They didn't arrive, they blamed Brexit, they blamed the posting system. I still wanted my goods,. I sent email after email. I even phoned them a few times. All with the same results, all promises, no action.
Eventually, mid June '21, I decided I wanted no more no more to do with them, phoned and asked for a refund, which came reasonably quickly.
I unsubscribed from them.
I ordered 7 tops recently then panicked as I read the reviews on Trustpilot! However, I can report that the order arrived within a week, the clothes are great quality and fit really well. They are cut to flatter large sizes. I'm really happy with all my tops but a returns address (in the UK) has been provided so I am sure that they would've been easy to return. Maybe some of the negative reviews come from early this year when there were long delays in UK Customs? I'm already planning my next purchase
I have ordered sale items many times from Ulla Popken, before brexit, and was highly satisfied. Delivery would be upto two weeks but quality very good, and it is hard to get affordable quality clothes elsewhere in my size (UK36). Especially there coats were an absolute treat for me.
The clothes are also very durable.
However, I came here to see what the post-brexit experiences are and they seem sad and shocking, same as with many other companies.
I will wait some time to order again, hoping that over time the brexit import/export issues will get sorted.
Ordered last Friday and parcel was with me in the UK by Wednesday, a day earlier than scheduled by UPS.
Excellent quality garment, as usual with all their clothing. Will definitely continue to use this company.
Ordered a top in mid January. I've now had 7 different delivery dates. First one nearly 3 weeks ago and latest 2 days hence. Where are my goods which I was charged for 3 weeks ago?
I have ordered several times and always pleased with goods and service. Latest order placed for 3 tops on 18 Jan. Tracking states parcel delayed due to Brexit at Herne-Boering in Germany (subsequent order placed and goods received within 5 days!). Customer Service advised me to cancel delivery with UPS and once Ulla Popken see return request they will refund the money. After reading recent feedback think I’ll wait another week - you never know, it might turn up!
UPDATE: Order received after 8 week wait.
Saw the reviews after i placed my order and tried to cancel but too late. Order was received in good time but the quality is poor. Great size and length of tunic and lovely print, but has sequin neckline that i could've put on better myself and i don't anticipate the sequins will still be in place after washing. Used a discount code but still don't feel that it is worth the £45 i paid. After reading the reviews on returns I won't bother but i won't order anything else. Nevermind, you live and learn.
I don't think I can order from this company again unless I hear back from them tomorrow morning. They admit in an email that one of the items was lost and they have no tracking. BUT NEITHER DO I HAVE ANY REFUND. Apparently they have to send me a statement that I sign and return. But no statement arrives. Another order they have had back since 24th June and no word about a refund. I think both will need to be via a dispute with Paypal, though I accept that the return of the 24th June is still in its early days. I currently have 2 orders awaiting delivery and I really hope that I want to keep them as it is frankly hard work getting any refunds back from them. It's just not worth the hassle really.
I ordered goods to arrive at the place I was staying. Website states delivery in 3-5 days. They took so long (8 days) that I had left the area by the time the goods arrived. My friend had to sort the return, at our expense of course. When I contacted customer (dis)service I was met with indifference.
I was able to claim the return postage costs back via Paypal fortunately.
Won't be using them again.
