All Good

I did some online research into who/which company could do a repair to one of my electronic devices. Electronic Partners came up with a very good quote and I proceeded with the repair. Postage labels were easy to download and print and the method of postage was also easy to deal with. As soon as Electronic Partners received my item, I received a confirmation email including access to my repair ticket portal which provided service updates. As soon as the repair was completed they issued their invoice. Payment was easy to make and within 24hrs I'd received confirmation of payment and that shipping would follow. The fault with my device has been rectified and I'm extremely pleased with the quality of service that Electronic Partners have given to me.

Woeful - stay well clear

My headphones ANC feature stopped working , got quotes at £49 to fix them which I thought was a good price so i sent them off. Electronic partners said they’d cleaned the mic and that the noise cancelling was now working. Upon receiving the headphones back, the ANC was no different to before and completely not working. Electronic partners said to send them back and they can do further inspection so i did. Having sent them back they said they’d checked them and there was nothing wrong with them and that the noise cancelling was working as expected. They then charged me a further £10 for the inspection, and guess what, the noise cancelling still doesn’t work. They refused to give me my money back as well, stay clear at all costs, terrible company

We understand how frustrating it is when a feature like ANC doesn’t appear to perform as expected.

Based on our diagnostic process, the headphones were received with a report that Active Noise Cancelling was not functioning. The unit underwent microphone cleaning, software update, and full functional testing. ANC operation was verified using the Beats app, where toggling between modes produced the expected response.

Following your return request, the device was re-tested by multiple engineers and compared directly against other Beats Studio3 Wireless units to ensure consistency. In all cases, the ANC function operated within manufacturer specifications.

ANC performance can vary depending on environmental conditions and perception, but from a diagnostic and comparative testing standpoint, no functional fault was identified at any stage. As such, the charges applied relate to the completed service and the additional inspection carried out after the return.

SCAMMERS AVOID

Sent a Marantz Midi system which would not power up, was given a quote of £108 for repair which I accepted ,was told they needed to get parts and given a date of about 2 weeks for them to arrive. 3 months after being given 2 more dates for parts to arrive I receive and invoice for £474.00 saying the unit needed a new mother board after being quoted and paying the £108 they said would do the repair. Feel like I've been scammed AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We understand your concern regarding how the process unfolded.

Based on our diagnostic process, your Marantz system initially presented with a no power fault. A separate diagnostic was quoted and approved due to the time required to properly investigate the issue. During this stage, the power supply fault was identified and rectified, and further testing confirmed that the unit was still entering protection mode.

At that point, all standard causes had been ruled out, leaving the fault isolated to the main processor or main PCB. This required a further quotation for the next stage of repair, which is standard practice when additional faults are identified beyond the initial issue.

As outlined in our service terms , diagnostic work and partial repairs are separate stages, and initial estimates are non-binding until full testing is completed. Additional faults uncovered during diagnostics are quoted separately before any further work proceeds.

The initial £108 related to the approved diagnostic and partial repair work carried out on the power and amplifier stages. The later quotation reflects the newly identified board-level fault requiring main board replacement.

Are American fridge freezer stopped working and was told it could not be repaired as the part was obsolete and could not be replaced electric partners repair the pcd bored saving us a lot of money on replacing it we were keep informed of the repair and the cost i will definitely use them again i would like to thank them for a stress free experience

Quick and reliable

Sent them on the Tuesday. Got email saying arrived on weds. Got a email Thursday morning regarding the quote went ahead. ear buds arrived Friday. Working perfectly.
Wish every company was this efficient.

Product waiting to be repaired for over 2 months and still not in progress

Sent my drone off for repair and was received by them in January. Still as of the 27th March I'm no further forward with a repair and am constantly having to chase.

Parts were ordered by them following payment but they still haven't been despatched by their supplier 2 months later! Yet the parts seem readily available to buy in the UK.

In terms of the process - to be fair to them it's nice and straight forward, but they appear to have a complete lack of control over chasing suppliers. A rather painful experience so far. I'll update further once I get some progress. Invoice paid 20th January for reference.

A new life for My Teac amp

My Teac amp had stopped working and I was on the point of buying a new amp when I discovered Electronic Partners. From the first contact with them to packaging the amp for delivery to their workshop the process was smooth and worked well. The amp was repaired in the timescale they had advised and I was informed. The amp now works well, I saved myself a lot of money and would recommend this company to anyone needing audio equipment repair.

Terrible

My device was not fixed in the way that I checked and confirmed that it would be. It was very expensive for what I received (£90 -for them to remove a part of my device that I still needed and instead of mending it, or replacing it- to fill the hole created with glue). And After many frustrating messages with customer care- I leave with a device no longer useable in the way I had wanted, money out of pocket, and a highly patronising and unhelpful exchange where the customer 'service' rep told me the device was broken when it arrived (...which is why I wanted to pay this company to have it fixed). The messages had a highly patronising tone, they never addressed certain points I raised and made no offer to make any sort of reparation, r any responsibility taken for the confirmation that I received prior to paying. (Which they said was a chat bot, and therefore didn't represent their company- even though I contacted the 'agent' through their website). I couldn't rate this company low enough, would never use them again and would advise people to be very careful before giving any money.

Your device arrived with the mounting point already structurally broken, as shown in the check-in photo provided before repair. The approved repair covered a general service and stabilising the damaged back panel, which was completed as agreed. Replacement parts for this model are not available, and no confirmation was given that the mount could be restored.

All work was carried out in line with the authorised quotation and documented condition on arrival.

Fantastic company, clear instruction and value for money

I’ve used this company before and was very impressed, the whole process from quoting to return and pricing was easy and relatively quick and a very reasonable repair price. I’d fully recommend them and not hesitate to use them again myself.

Important Update!

I sent my Cambridge Audio amplifier to this company by post on the 12/2/26. I had done some research and understood the repair to be around £150, this was from about 5 quotes. I received an e-mail on the 16/2/26 confirming receipt. On the 23/2/26 I got a 'status update' stating 'diagnostics in progress'; this also had a bill for £98. However this bill was for diagnosics only And stated the repair would be an additional bill!?
I then went through a lengthy process, communicating with what appeared to be AI, via a portal (the phone number given is never answered)!
So here was my scenario: reject the offer, or accept but have no idea what the final bill will be! No one out there is going to accept paying, in effect, a blank cheque! So I had to reject and therefore pay them £14 to post it back to me.
How can this be right? Instead of a seperate bill for diagnostics, why not tell me the cost of the full repair; then I can make a proper decision.
I've lost £14 and enough time to repair three amplifiers!

As I understood it: if I paid the £98 I would then have no idea what the extra cost may be, so it was a gamble. If, say, you then asked for another £150 I would have to pay that (in addition) or lose nearly £100. no one is going to agree to that. This fault is on YouTube and was stated as fairly common. This is also the general response I got from other repair companies stating the estimate was between £120 & £I50.

Electronic Partners have just returned my amplifier to me. it has arrived in EXACTLY THE SAME PACKAGING I SENT IT OFF IN; EVERYTHING IS THE SAME, THIS HAS NOT EVEN BEEN OPENED, YET THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME £98 FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WITH A FURTHER CHARGE (UNSPECIFIED) FOR REPAIR.

HERE IS AN IDEA; WHY NOT ACTUALLY OPEN THE BOX AND FIND OUT WHAT THE FAULTY IS!?

That is precisely what the diagnostic stage is for. We quoted £98 to carry out the diagnostic investigation. This covers the engineer’s time to open, test and identify the confirmed fault.

As this diagnostic quote was declined, we did not proceed with opening or investigating the unit, and it was returned as received.

No repair work is ever carried out without approval of the relevant service stage.

One of, if not, the best repair companies I've ever used.

Used this company many times in the past to repair failing and failed equipment. They have come through every time. The fact that I can send the equipment to them free of charge to get an estimate and then, based on what they say, can decide myself whether to have it repaired on simply returned as it is (at obvious postage cost to myself). They have repaired hifi and DJ equipment that other companies have said they cannot due due to the age of the equipment and the lack of manufactured parts. They have been honest and if something could not be repaired, or part of it repaird, they have told me so plainly and let me decide what to do. This is the first company I turn to now and the first company I recommend to friends and family.

Good and honest repair service

I had a problem with my washing machine it wasn’t spinning properly. Took it to this shop and they fixed it quickly. The staff was friendly and explained everything clearly. They didn’t charge extra or try to sell unnecessary parts. Total cost was fair and now it’s working like new. Good experience, I will come back if needed. Thanks!

A bit slow but got the job done

I suspected the main PCB on my 20+ year old Siemens hob extractor fan had failed. I came across this Company on the internet, and was able to navigate their website, download their postage label and send it off for investigation and repair. I did get a diagnosis and repair estimate after over 2 weeks, but could accept this as was over Xmas and the new year. I did eventually get the PCB back after having being repaired. The PCB when I plugged it in partly worked and still had a fault . I duly sent it back and after a couple of weeks was notified they had found the fault which should have been rectified in the first place. This was duly rectified at their expense and on it return all worked fine. The whole process was slow but we got there in the end. Communication was all done through their website. The cost was reasonable - certainly much cheaper than a new PCB, which was totally unavailable anywhere. I would use this company again

With legacy PCB repair of this age, component degradation can sometimes present in layers. Our structured diagnostic process identifies confirmed faults based on measurable failure points at the time of testing. In this case, once the unit was returned and further symptoms were identified, it was reassessed and the additional fault was rectified at our expense in line with our repair warranty terms.

Seasonal periods such as Christmas and New Year can extend turnaround slightly due to parts logistics and workload, but we prioritise technical accuracy over rushing incomplete repairs — particularly on obsolete boards where replacements are not commercially available.

We’re pleased the extractor fan is now operating correctly and that the overall repair remained significantly more economical than sourcing a replacement PCB.

Will repair your devices in amateur fashion!

I was originally going to use these guys for repairing my IEMs for their fairly priced estimate but after seeing how they handled a friend of mine's repair, I can confidently say avoid this company.
Particularly this was for MMCX repair on a ~£1000 IEM; this was repaired, however the shell was stuck back together misaligned. They do a sloppy job and refuse to acknowledge this as their own fault and will not rectify. Customer service is non existent, you are better off repairing such cases by yourself.

Edit after response: These IEMs were sent back specifically for the case misalignment. They were checked by the same technician who originally worked on them. Warranty was rejected and we were told this is just a cosmetic issue; either pay a service fee of around £20 for having them checked or have them recycled. This response was how I imagined this company SHOULD treat their repairs and it's interesting they like to pretend that's the sentiment instead of actually carrying out what's written here. What a waste of time to read.

We take comments of this nature seriously, particularly where high-value in-ear monitors are concerned.

MMCX connector repair on premium IEMs involves micro-soldering work within extremely compact housings. After any such intervention, the units pass through our structured QA process before dispatch. This includes electrical continuity checks, channel balance testing and physical inspection to confirm structural integrity.

If a casing alignment issue had been present on return, the correct course of action would have been to return the item under our repair warranty so it could be formally inspected. We cannot assess or rectify concerns that are not submitted back to us for evaluation.

We categorically do not refuse valid warranty assessments. Where workmanship concerns are verified upon inspection, they are addressed in accordance with our warranty terms. However, we can only report on and act upon devices physically received for review.

If your friend would like the unit formally inspected, they are welcome to provide the repair reference number via our ticketing system and we will review the case in line with our standard warranty procedure.

Fantastic experience

Fantastic experience. My vintage amp needed a couple of repairs. From initial contact, sent off the amp with tickets provided from E.P. Notified when amp arrived and provided with link for portal to keep up to speed with what was happening. Quotation sent, work carried out, after bills paid - the amp arrived back home next day all sorted. It took 15 working days from start to finish and at reasonable cost.

Great professional Service

I was very impressed with the quality of their technical service and the expertise of the team. The technicians clearly know their stuff and handled the job efficiently. However, the customer service side of things could do with some improvement. There appears to be a disconnect, as I repeatedly received misinformation and a lack of clarity regarding updates and next steps. Overall, while the technical work was top-notch, better communication and more accurate information from front office would make the experience much smoother.
