Really once in a lifetime opportunity. Event well organised and thought out and the instructors were amazing.

Pricy but you get what you pay for and there were discounts available.

My only gripe was the lady behind the photo booth was a little pushy about reviewing and naming her in the review.

Fantastic Drive at Castle Combe race circuit.
Staff (Chris) were enthusiastic and helpful.
Also the staff at Blendini motorsport in Llandow are amazing would highly recommend.

A truly miserable experience!

Castle Combe Circuit June 4th 2026.

Administered and operated by Blendini Motorsport of Llandow Wales (on the day of the event all the staff were proudly wearing Blendini Motorsport corporate clothing) and promoted as Car Chase Hero's as a memorable Race track experience, which was memorable for all the wrong reasons!

No customer care, no hospitality no catering nowhere dry or comfortable to sit, disgusting wc cloakroon facilities which should embarrass Castle Combe Circuit management, if there are any?

Had three cars booked and paid for in advance and then sold an additional three cars including a Mclaren which mysteriously was not available due to breaking down, was there a Mclaren actually there I think not as there wasn't a Mclaren in sight anywhere.

Had to wait for over an hour and a half standing in a cold wet drafty garage with 50 - 60 other customers all waiting to be called forward to wait a further 15 minutes, all this to drive just one car for just two laps!

With the waiting time alone, I would have waited standing for over 6-7 hours with no catering or cloakroom facilities and no where to sit in the dry, to drive the 6 cars I had been persuaded to buy and told I would definitely drive.

This turned out to be truly miserable experience, so disappointed in fact close to tears.

The staff are clearly under instructions to promise and say anything to shut any unhappy customer up.

Just awful awful awful an absolute disgrace and a shambles. Nothing more than a money making machine

Carchaseheroes response just a "shrug of the shoulders" it is what it is -tough!

Tip never pre pay for any extras do it on the day for a third of the price and also you will know on the day if any cars have broken down so they cannot offer you a cheaper replacement. You will be treated quicker to the track and overall much better than the conned people who have booked overpriced extras.by emails from udrive or carchaseheroes.

I was very kindly bought a voucher for my birthday for The Ultimate U Drive 8 Supercars Track Day. At first I booked the date I wanted, but then had to change it. Doing this via email was not particularly easy and I only got a confirmation when calling and asking for it.

On to the day itself. I arrived half an hour before start time as advised, friendly team who asked me to sign paperwork, then a wait, then upstairs for more paperwork where I was told I had a VIP package. I was then escorted to a gazebo where I was told it was great as I wouldn't have to wait for anything all day due to the VIP nature of my package. There was a queue of people waiting for the sighting lap and I was feeling rather smug with myself, until they were all let loose and told to find a driver and car whilst I was stood there wondering whether I was supposed to go or someone would come and get me. I flagged it with one of the staff who told me to go find a car.

From then on, it was a case of waiting to be called from a holding pen garage on to seats with duck tape stickers and the car names on them. I sat on the seat I was directed to and it broke, bit of banter with the MC and I got a new one, no bother, these things happen. I went for the first drive and it was great, although I had 3 laps per car and they go very quickly - circa 7 minutes. Of course was offered to buy additional laps, but didn't really see the point as I had 8 cars to drive.

The state of the cars is depressing, I am a "car" person and seeing the state of these Ferrari's, Lambo's, Astons etc is just sad. I get that they aren't designed to have 25 people getting in and out of them all day, but I got the impression they weren't cared for at all, they may have been mechanically sound but these things have had a hard life and did not feel premium at all. The Ariel Atom I drove was missing its wing... apparently there was a funny story about it.

The instructors were all great fun and I never felt held back, as I got more confidence in the track | pushed further and got pretty quick all things considered.

My last car was a 911 Spyder. The duck tape had been out again and was covering mileage on the dash, holding other bits together, I guess it was probably 20 years old. The wait for this, was the longest wait of the day as it didn't have a driver.

Then the "High Speed Passenger Ride" - at this point the heavens had well and truly opened and I along with probably 40 other people were left standing in the hammering rain with no cover. Very quick lap with an epic driver.
I was so keen to leave that I forgot to go to the media truck, but probably wouldn't have bought anything anyway.

All in all this was a fun day, but lacked any sort of finesse and I don't think the fact I was a "VIP" gave me any benefit apart from an extra lap over everyone else, the excess insurance and sighting lap included.
The sheer amount of people there baffled me, they kept on coming all day and I felt so sorry for people that had come with their families and there was no
provision for the dreadful weather at all. Just portaloos and a burger van. For the price paid it felt disappointing.

I bought my husband a driving experience and he absolutely loved it. He had the best day, got to drive a couple of different cars and the staff through in another lap & a fast speed lap. This was due to the car that I had booked, not being available- which at first was disappointing but this was because it had a puncture, understandable as these cars are driven around all day. The staff’s response to this was super professional and kind, making up for it by way of the free extra lap and a ride in the Atom. We will definitely return!

The organisation was exceptional. Everyone was so helpful and it all made my day memorable

Had a fantastic drive at castle Combe drove Lotus Cortina & mk 1 Escort. I'd forgotten what it was like driving without power steering. Also had a fast lap in a Golf What a lap .

Whole session was well organised and throughly enjoyed!!!
Great variety of cars on offer to drive and great viewing space for spectators to watch loved ones!

Organisation was fantastic and the facilities were better than any other venue I've been to. The staff were very friendly as always but a special thanks to how they treated my autistic daughter when she went out for a high speed passenger ride.

It was a good family experience for my sons and I. The event was well organised and the instructors were helpful and friendly. What stopped it from being a great event was the quality of the photos taken at the location and video camera not working in the cars.

Great day at Spitfire Park Perranporth, well organised booing in on the day was easy and everything ran smoothly. I was able to add another car on the day which was a McLaren 570S one of my favourite cars. Already have a booking with you at Mallory Park this coming Tuesday with 15 laps in the Caterham 7 and another 2 laps in the McLaren 570 GT4. Will be looking at Spitfire Park for next year as it will give me chance to visit my sister who lives in Redruth. SHe is in a wheel chair but will be looking at booing a high speed ride for her if possable.

Great experience for my daughter, she enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely use this company again

My 10 year old granddaughter had the most amazing day
She loved every minute of it and her 'co pilot' looked after her when she was driving the police car.

Of course driving a super car is amazing and I was lucky enough to drive my dream car. I felt the organisation could of been slightly better. A digital board with names would of been handy rather than relying on trying to enjoy the cars and listen to your name being called, the app is great but my name disappeared and being in a field with lots of people it did run very slow. The driving experience, albeit great was slightly disappointing on how the 'run' was planned out. No corners, crowed track and the instructor was not very enthusiastic. I good experience but for the cost, I think its a one off thing

Such a slick operation. It was a busy day at the Northampton track but it ran like clockwork. The Mini that I drove was amazing and you could just enjoy watching the array of cars roll out.

Great organisation on the day. The drivers who went with my son in the cars we really lovely. The whole time we were there was really good. Thankyou for making ours and especially my son have a great time.

My daughter had a great day overall.
One of her chosen cars (mclaren) was off track so she got to pick another and got extra laps in it.
We had great weather which helped.
The staff were helpful and knowledgeable.
One thing that was hugely disappointing was the recording equipment in the Lambo Gallardo wasnt working so we got no recording of that drive. We were given a discount on the media package to compensate but I dont think it was adequate enough.
I had already paid for photographs at booking stage and maybe it was my fault but I was expecting photos of her stood with each car. It wasnt until I got home and reviewed the download I realised it was all external shots of the cars going around the track, could've been anyone driving. I think this needs to be made clearer on the day.
Adding all the extras like, photos, ins cover etc added nearly 200.00 to what was a late addition birthday gift.
Overall expensive for what she experienced in my opinion.

Was a fantastic time and felt real speed would recommend to anybody.
