Camillo loves the food but it’s a bit annoying to store in the freezer

Tuggs is amazing! We moved from Butternut Box to Tuggs a few years ago for our fussy adult cockapoo as a more environmentally friendly and cost-saving option. We were apprehensive at first as our pooch has previously been incredibly fussy and has an iffy tummy but from the very first sniff she absolutely loved Tuggs and we’ve had no digestive or poop issues. Delivery is always prompt, the portal is super user friendly, recipes are varied and the customer service is outstanding. We have a check in call once or twice a year and it’s always very personal, genuine and friendly. They often throw in a few free treats or gifts as a loyal customer too. Would absolutely recommend Tuggs to every dog owner and beloved doggos!

Great dog food, my dogs love it!

My dog loves his Tuggs. He has thrived on it since he was a puppy. The app is easy to use and it is easy if you need to change the delivery date. I buy 5 weeks worth in order to get each pouch cheaper. The delivery is reliable every time. Our vets have been surprised how well and healthy he looks especially when he is not on one of their prescriptions brands. The team are so friendly too and are always there to answer any questions you may have. I would recommend Tuggs 100%.

Very good food and service

Food always arrives on time. Really great customer service. It is expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s the first dog food provider that didn’t cause stomach issues for our dog

My cocker spaniel shed weight until we gave him twice the recommended portion. At twice the portion, it’s obviously twice the already hefty price. In my opinion (and since spoken to others) it has been the same. Portion designed for old and inactive dogs.

Their reply to this was ‘a shame I didn’t get in touch to adjust the portion’ - misses the point entirely. I could adjust the portion myself (as I pointed out). Unless they then gave me a 50% off code it was twice the price. Money isn’t the issue here but clearly a factor. Don’t package it misleadingly as x pounds per day when x is based on clearly inactive dogs.

Tuggs food and customer service is amazing however DPD delivery is not , wrecked boxes or order lost !! But tuggs sorted it out , unfortunately always worry on delivery day , so now have to ensure food for at least an extra week to ensure dogs don’t have to go on to alternative food until their tuggs arrives .

Tuggs food is great, delivery is quick, the website is easy to use. Love it.

Have been using for around 6 months and both my dogs love the food. Always send well packaged. No complaints

Tuggs has a new approach to dog food - I like the focus on sustainability and Cleo loves it too. Great to try something new!

Love Tuggs. My dog gobbles it down, and the customer journey is efficient and easy. Love that it's sustainble, but also nutritionally correct for my Bernese.

Delivery on time, dogs now love their dinner time!

Our dog absolutely loves Tuggs! She is always super excited for breakfast/dinner and I feel that she is getting the best nutrients possible. Ever since starting her on Tuggs, her poops are healthier and more regular than they were while she was eating from a different food subscription. The only drawbacks are that the food takes up a lot of freezer space (which is not a big problem) and that sometimes the delivery is late so our dog doesn’t have any of her food for a couple days, and she can’t eat supermarket dog food so it can be a pain. Overall it’s really great, though the occasional delivery issues can be a problem with our sensitive stomached dog!

Our puppy wasn’t food motivated and would pick and choose if he wanted to eat his dry kibble. We mix Tuggs with his kibble and he absolutely loves it. He now gets excited for meal times.

We found Tuggs through the dog food comparison website All About Dog Food and signed up for what was advertised as a trial box. Unfortunately, our dogs wouldn’t eat the food, so we assumed that was the end of it.

Two weeks later, we were shocked to receive another box and discover we’d been charged £88.

When I contacted customer services, I was told that “several emails” had been sent explaining that the trial would continue as a subscription unless we opted out. In reality, we received just one email after signing up, stating that another box would be sent unless we unsubscribed.

The issue is that there is a clear difference between a trial and a subscription. A trial is generally understood to be a one-off opportunity to try a product before deciding whether to continue. If customers are automatically enrolled into an ongoing subscription, it should be clearly marketed as a subscription from the outset, not as a trial.

As a consumer, I found this approach misleading. Selling what appears to be a trial while relying on customers to opt out of an automatic subscription feels like a sneaky business practice. Companies build strong reputations through transparency and trust, and unfortunately, this experience did not reflect either.
