Although we asked for a few last-minute changes, the team remained calm and flexible. They did a proper job professionally.

This company should have their licenses revoked, absolutely the worst company ever to try to do business with. Took my deposit money then wouldn’t schedule an exact date so I rescheduled and it was even worse, today I get a call they are picking up my move items TOMORROW! I have tried to get a refund and they state it has been spent on scheduling research and overhead. As far as I can tell no one has completed a successful move with this company. MOST FRAUDULENT MOVING COMPANY IN THE BUSINESS DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY $$ UPFRONT…YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT OR YOUR FURNITURE AGAIN

This was truly one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. My family needed to relocate to a different state for work, so I called Triple Crown and spoke to Waylon. Waylon was very helpful in getting us set up and helping us estimate the size of truck necessary. From there, however, it went all downhill. The driver for the pickup told us we needed to tip his two workers $200 each. Said he pays them out of his share but that we should take care of them. Now, I have no issue with tipping for good service, but $200 each? After calling Triple Crown customer service to make sure that request was legitimate, they told me absolutely not, don't tip them that. They must have then called the driver because he was frustrated that I called the company. Now for the delivery. I received a text on Sunday from the movers (Early Bird Transportation of NC, Inc.) stating they would be here Tuesday morning. I texted Tuesday afternoon to see if they were still coming and they replied that it would be 2 to 3 days. On Thursday, I received a message that they would deliver that day and that the driver would call me when he had an ETA. Nothing. Same thing on Friday. I called Triple Crown customer service again and asked what was going on. The rep (I won't mention her name) told me that if I keep asking the driver where he is then he will just make up an answer. She said, "what else is he supposed to do?" I said, how about just be honest and tell me he is delayed. She then said that this is not their "first rodeo" and they knew what they were doing. Finally, the movers showed up for delivery at 5:30 PM on Saturday. They were with a different company than the one that did the pickup. Our stuff was taken from our old home to a warehouse, unloaded and then reloaded into a different truck for the delivery. Somewhere during the process, multiple items were broken, including an antique mirror, a crockpot, and some dishes. I understand these things happen in moves, and it is just part of it. However, most of our boxes were crushed, ripped, or loaded upside down - even ones marked fragile. I would never recommend Triple Crown Moving Systems to anyone, and I know it is partly my fault for using a broker rather than a full-service company. Once Triple Crown got us booked and took our deposit, they were very little help to us as we worked to find out where our stuff was. I completely understand delays... It happens. What is not right is to repeatedly set an expectation that delivery will happen on a specific day/time, and repeatedly not show up or even call with an explanation. Further, Triple Crown should either retrain or replace their customer service reps. Both of the ones I spoke with were sarcastic, unhelpful, and dismissive. The ONLY reason this review has two stars instead of one or zero is that the team that did the delivery was terrific. Very kind, respectful of our things, apologetic for broken items, and helpful. I did tip each of them $100 and they probably deserved more. But Triple Crown and Early Bird are two companies I would absolutely stay away from.

My husband and I hired Triple Crown Moving Systems to move us from Kentucky to New Mexico. I wanted to share our experience so that anyone considering this company can make an informed decision.
Our salesperson, Brian, estimated our move at approximately 473 cubic feet and around $2,981. We provided a detailed inventory of our larger furniture, so we felt comfortable moving forward. After we paid our deposit and committed to the move, the estimate increased to approximately 934 cubic feet and around $6,800 based on essentially the same inventory.
One thing that really bothered me was that Brian told us Triple Crown had a 4.9-star rating. After our move, I started researching the company more closely because of everything that had happened. I couldn't find a Google Business Profile for Triple Crown Moving Systems. The highly rated Google listing I kept finding belonged to a different company with a very similar name. Whether intentional or not, that gave me the impression I was hiring a company with a much stronger online reputation than I was actually able to verify.
Brian also lead us to believe that Triple Crown would actually be the one to move our belongings. It turns out they are just a broker and don’t even own any moving trucks.
Another surprise was that our first payment appeared on our credit card statement under "Northern Relocation" instead of Triple Crown Moving Systems. When I asked about it, I was told Northern Relocation was simply the payment processor. Later, I discovered the two companies share the same business address and appear to be related.
Our paperwork listed Early Bird Transportation as the carrier, but the truck that arrived displayed "Royal Movers LLC" with a different USDOT number. The driver told us he owned the truck and had been hired by Early Bird, so it became confusing who was actually responsible for transporting our belongings.
Our shipment arrived several days later than expected, and multiple pieces of furniture were damaged. We also had missing parts, stained mattresses, and furniture that had been assembled incorrectly.

My advice is to avoid Triple Crown Moving Systems at all costs.

Absolutely criminal what these guys do.

A huge bait and switch. DO NOT USE THEM.

They had our property for 20 days…never once gave me an answer to where my property was, and acted annoyed when I did call.

I was told 5 days to move NH to GA….radio silence for almost the full 20 days. Whenever they did answer they say they’d called movers and call back with info.

They never did.
They use third party movers and you are just at their mercy for payment and schedules.

Dave yourself the hassle. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Derek was the rudest individual on the planet. They told me that my things would be at destination in a week, I had no contact with the driver and it has been 10 days and I still don't have my furniture. Derek advised me that he did not care that I had no clothing, no furniture, no nothing and he refused to help. I would not let them move anything. They price gouged me on top of the horrible way I was talked to

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They picked up my items May 9th 2026. It is July 6th and my stuff has yet to come. Each time I contact them - I either get fed lies OR my call is not picked up. When they answer and lie, they are constantly moving the goal posts for dates/times and making excuses as to why the move hasn't occurred. The worst part, so far, is the inability to provide more information - like - where my stuff actually is.

This wasn't a big move but it did include a kitchen pack-out and moving quite a bit of expensive artwork. I was so stressed about the process but the two young men that handled the move were incredible professional, friendly and efficient. Everything was carefully wrapped, packed and moved with the exception of a large heavy glass item that was wrapped but still cracked and it was not discovered until much later. That's the only reason this isn't a 5 star review. Thanks for making the move a breeze!!

Such a seamless, helpful, & great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone in need of a reliable moving company at a great price!

The guys were awesome. Tgey wasted no time getting the truck packed and took care of our heavy furniture. Triple Crown did a great job and specifically my estimator Jonathan was very nice. Thanks again!
