we believe the tree is dead, planted as instructed but to date no sign of life.

Your order was a young Bare Root tree and was only delivered to you three weeks ago. We'd recommend all of our customers to wait until later in the summer to see proper progress on a Bare Root tree. Especially in regards to Copper Beech as these are historically late developers.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions! If your Copper Beech is still not looking well in June/July, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We're always happy to talk to our customers and help them as best we can!

So impressed
After lots of online research into trees I came across this company quite late on and they had everything I was after and for a reasonable price. I liked the fact they were a British family company. So I placed the order. It came just a couple of days later, which was very quick. The trees were well packaged and in great condition. We got them planted a couple of days later - they were in pots so there was no urgent rush to plant them same day - and they are now growing well and starting to open their leaves. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again.

Excellent customer service from Trees Direct.
I recieved excellent service from the team at Trees Direct when ordering a Silver Birch for my garden. I phoned with a few queries and the person I spoke to was knowledgeable and very helpful. I recieved the tree within two days of ordering, which arrived well packaged and in very good condition. I must mention that a second tree was dispatched in error and having spoken with Diana to let her know, she very kindly let me keep this tree also, which I've now planted out with the other Silver Birch.This company were a pleasure to deal with and definitely went above and beyond, I would most definitely use again. I am more than happy to recommend and give a 5☆ rating.

Bare Root Hawthorn Tree
Good size bare root tree delivered quickly in very secure packaging. Planted on the day of delivery as per instructions. No sign of "life" yet but it's early days. Hoping it will thrive.

In regard to the tree itself, without seeing the tree ourselves we can make no comment. It it still winter, so most of our trees do look like sticks and are very bare. Excellent tree
I ordered a copper beech tree, which arrived a few days later. It was slightly taller than described (which is excellent) and very well packaged. I ordered a pot-grown tree, as it's getting late in the season for bare-root, and the tree had clearly been grown in the pot, not dumped in it immediately prior to shipping. For £35, it was very good value, and I will certainly use Trees Direct Ltd again.
