Website a total scam, took my money, cancelled my actual booking with North-Western!

Soon before traveling internationally, I noticed that my wife's name on her ticket was her maiden name while her travel identification is her legal, married name. I did a quick web search for United customer service and got to Travelomile. They said they could update the passenger name for $235. I felt uneasy about the situation so I hung up and found the real United customer service number. They said there was no fee to update the ticketed passenger name. I suspect Travelomile tried to rip me off.

I called a number for United Airlines but was diverted to this company unfortunately. They said that it would cost me $310.00 to cancel my tickets that I bought online at United Airlines. I called to cancel the tickets 20 minutes after booking, as my girlfriend had found another flight, and my call was diverted to this bad company due to United being to busy to take all calls. The operator said they represented United and misled me to think there would be a charge to cancel. I called United to complain, and they said there shouldn't, and wouldn't be any charge....I was lied to by this operator! I received an email from United saying they would refund the whole amount, while at the same time I was being set up by this company to pay the $310.00 for doing what United was doing for free. they're tricky and un-honest. They sent me a form to sign saying I was alright with the charge, and with me being me being duped, I didn't realize until it was too late! I have reported this to United and they are starting an investigation to track this behavior with this company. If you read on, you'll find many more unsatisfied customers with the same complaints. Travelomile.com= bad business, poor practices, and unfair charges. Stay away

Be very careful when trying to call United Airlines. This company posed as United. Make sure you get the legitimate phone number to the airline you are trying to call.

Both Eden and Christopher were great and help me tremendously. It was a very hard booking, and they showed lot of patients. They both should be rewarded for great customer service. This has been a very pleasant experience. Thank you both from bottom of my heart. Darab B.

Extremely Disappointed – Refund Still Not Received After Over a Year
I booked through Travelomile, phone number 1-888-575-5053 and was promised a refund over a year ago. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received the refund to my credit card, even though they initially assured me it would take no more than 14 business days.
This delay is unacceptable, and I feel misled by repeated promises that were never honored. I trusted this company, but their lack of transparency and accountability has caused significant frustration and financial inconvenience.

Chris was helpful in getting my reoccurring problem fixed. I just needed the TSA precheck put on my boarding pass. It took several hours, and 3 calls but he persevered and got it squared away. I appreciated that effort. (Why it was such a challenge, I can’t say).
Additionally we had booked seats 11D& E. But when I called initially, I spoke with Brenden who offered to upgrade us for $110. Which I accepted. The new tickets arrived and he moved us 3 seats up. 2 middle seats and we weren’t traveling together. How is this an upgrade? That I had to pay for?? Chris was able to get us 2 seats together in row 7 (bulkhead) again, I appreciate that effort.
What is the legroom difference between seats 11 and 8? I am assured there is more legroom. I’ll check tomorrow on the plane.
Anyway, it was a fiasco but Chris saw it through and resolved my issues. I appreciated his efforts.

Both were very knowledgeable, kind, customer oriented, and super helpful! I felt being in good hands the entire time, from the booking arrangements and finding all the details in regards to travelling with my dog with Eva, to getting my refund back as well as getting help finding my lost eye glasses with Christopher, who called me to inform me about the status of my claim. Really, an amazing customer service. Thank you, both!!

I called United Airlines to request an extension of my travel credit. Weirdly, unbeknownst to me, I was automatically transferred to this company. The agent said it would cost a $500 fee to request an extension or a refund. The fee seemed high but likely appropriate given the typical nature of fees and penalties. So, I paid it and was told I would get a determination on extension or refund. I received NO RESPONSE and the agent did not return my calls. I then learned from United that there never is a fee. TRAVELOMILE IS A FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! Either refund my money or see you in court.

Mary in customer service did a great job patiently answering my questions about baggage, what could be packed in a carry-on, etc., provided phone number where I could get more detailed information, helped with tickets. Thanks, Mary.

Mr Travis Johnson was very patient and helpful with last minute confusion I had with the name change of my grandson who is minor who I am traveling with.he was very kind to accommodate needs for smooth travel. I truly appreciate his assistance and he made sure my issues were resolved by leaving me contact information.

My call to united airlines was to rebook a flight. My call was transfered to this company. I assumed I was dealing with United Airline. The agent claimed they could not honor the original booking even though the flight was cancelled. Advised to book another reservation. As it was at midnite and I asvised it was a major priority I get to my destination ASAP. The new booking was charged sat $1049 . United sent a message at approximately 1AM that my flight had been rebooked (original reservation) for the morning. I wa scammed by both United Airlines and this company.

Did change reservation. Was NOT UNITED AIRLINE although it had their name as the United Customer Representative & phone when trying to find the phone number to talk directly about a possible change. Asked frequently if they were United & every time yes I am a United Representative. Also when on hold it is the United hold music. Then the person couldn't understand me nor I him. He did so many mis-spellings and errors was pushy to get me to accept. Also lied about giving me Economy Plus seating when my original was canceled and new booked I saw I had the last row going and next to last coming back and it was NOT Economy Plus. BEWARE I have the customer service phone number now after reporting all of this to United Airlines - the real one. Many emails and phone calls I do have a flight verified with United and did my own paying for upgrade to Economy Plus. I am not happy about being duped.

I was scammed by this company

Christopher Wilson was very helpful explaining that my flight was overbooked and thus my ticket was canceled because I booked through a third party. He advised me to book directly with delta to avoid a third party issue.

This company scammed my wife. She was on the way to airport and they texted her flight was delayed and to call them. My wife thought it was Delta. They told her her second leg of her flight was delayed and most likely cancelled. So they changed her flights to later flights and charged her $488 saying it was the fare difference. When she got to the airport she went Delta desk and they looked at the flights and said it was about a one hour delay and changed her back to her original flights. They also said unless it officially cancelled a Delta agent would never speculate on a flights cancellations. I trying to find out how they knew her number and that her flights maybe delayed. Also the text they sent is no longer on her phone and my wife did not delete it????

Came up on Google search as United Airlines phone number. Having a seat assignment issue with United, I called the number...turns out to be travelomile. Long story short, I was told they could assign my seats for
$700! Feeling something not right, I called a correct United number and found out why I couldn't get my seats, could get them in a week AND no cost! Don't get caught in this scam.
