We used Traveler's Joy to go to Greece and Germany. Our friends and loved ones really loved the idea of gifting us experiences, and many people used it as an alternative to just giving us cash. It was awesome, we got way more than we asked for!

The traveler's joy registry was easy to build and easy for guests to navigate. Be aware that there is a 3-day hold on gifts prior to redemption.

The setup of our page was easy and quick. They have a ton of examples that make it even easier to write a honeymoon fund request to friends and family. I felt like commission off of each donate was a little high which is why I did not leave 5 stars.

This was a really lovely service and I would definitely recommend it. The only criticism I would offer is to create more realistic gift options with more accurate prices. We were surprised when we went on our trip, and the price estimates shared by travelersjoy were nowhere near close the actual prices of the activities in Maui.

We had a great experience with Traveler's Joy! When my husband and I were looking for a honeymoon registry, we wanted a company that would be simple to work with, and allow us to plan our own trip. We didn't want an all-inclusive resort or pre-packaged tour. Traveler's Joy allowed us to put experiences and aspects of the trip for friends and family to fund, but did not lock us into any specifics. Since our honeymoon to France is 7 months after our wedding, we had people contributing money well after our wedding date. Traveler's Joy made it very easy to get our funds - we selected to have a check mailed to us and it arrived right on time.

This was a great experience. We loved the process, the notifications, the JOY. I would recommend to anyone planning a honeymoon trip.

Using Traveler's Joy was a seamless process for both us and our guests. We had no issues with anyone purchasing gifts and were able to easily transfer the money to our bank accounts when needed. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

They made it super easy... we were already pretty set in terms of things needed for the house, but we didn't have enough money to go on the honeymoon we wanted... travelers joy made that possible.

At no point in the checkout process did it show or mention a service fee. I know, because I was looking for it. I figured there'd probably be a fee and I'd just send money via Venmo which doesn't have any fees. However, after putting in all my information and making it to the confirmation page, there still wasn't any indication that there would be a fee. Only after submitting did I land on a page saying your company charged me $6.83 for the Convenience of using your service. I'm not sure if you have any lawyers working at your company or a legal team, but I'm fairly certain what you are doing is not only immoral, but illegal. You need to clearly showcase the fees you are going to charge, BEFORE the transaction takes place, not after. $7 isn't a ton of money, but it's the principal of the thing that's frustrating. It;s not enough to say on your frequently asked question page that there will be a fee. It's not enough to put in tiny letters during the purchase process that there might be a fee. You need to actually show what is going to be charged on the credit card before that purchase goes through. You can't show X amount is going to be charged and then charge Y amount. That's wrong and borderline illegal. If you were serious about being upfront you would do what ever single other company in the US does and showcase the fee BEFORE purchase.

Good experience with the company. Only issue was that we are Canadian and I didn't realize at first that all of our guests would be charged in USD. Other than that it was super easy to use and I would recommend to my friends

An easy to use and efficient platform for our Hawaii honeymoon registry! Really enjoyed receiving emails when an item was gifted, and the transaction from registry to bank account was flawless. We were able to receive gifted funds while on our honeymoon! Set up was easy and fun, thanks to the pre-selected activities. Easy to add own descriptions and images as well. Thanks for helping us make great memories on our honeymoon!

Easy to use platform, clear fees and the customer service was perfect. Would recommend to anybody looking for a honeymoon registry and advise to withdraw via PayPal so the banks don't cause any problems.
