All I can say is I have never dealt…

All I can say is I have never dealt with a company that is so useless. It uses (check my file) for credit ratings. Call centre based in South Africa. All information given to me was in correct. Phone number given to me was some mortgage company. Stay away from the misinformation company. The bad news is Octopus Energy use it for there credit rating.
Octopus Energy must be being paid to use them. Most companies use Experian or Equifax. Not some 5 year old company.

After decades of having an excellent…

After decades of having an excellent credit score On Credit Karma (these guys get our info from TransUnion) I suddenly noticed a 60 point drop in my credit score. On viewing my report I saw that suddenly a company were saying I had not paid them for 3 months which was effecting my score. On raising a dispute with TransUnion directly on the Credit Karma credit report site they responded back that they had dismissed the dispute and the record would stay on my report. Interesting because the company they say I owe money to doesn't even exist, they gave me a number to call - which doesn't exist...and they are refusing to enter into more dialogue with me - but my score still remains effected. If you are a financial institution who relies on TransUnion you should have a deep dive - they are selling you wrong info.

Credit reports not accurate, customer service useless

Transunion do not provide an accurate representation of credit records as they do not recognise credit accounts with major banks. When raised to customer services they just copy and paste their FAQs and assume case closed instead of actually looking into the issue.

Do not use Transunion

I have owned my own property and lived and voted in the UK for over 50 years and yet you think I don’t exist! As a result I can’t open an account with Atom bank and so they will lose my business. Don’t use TransUnion. I would give them zero stars if I could.

Inaccurate and hopeless at fixing it.

Absolutely hopeless. They only have my credit history from my current address and consequently cite a 'lack of history' as a big negative on my score. When I tried to have anything previous added to the report, I got a cut and paste reply that they "do not provide historical credit reports". That's clearly not what I asked for. I don't know why we are being held hostage to this useless organization and its two fellows. I highly suspect they are trying to improve their reputation on this site because every positive review is vague with terrible grammar and spelling, almost as if they hired a bunch of people abroad to lift their tragic score.

I have tried many times to get this old…

I have tried many times to get this old settled removed from my report. The creditor has confirm this should now of been removed, and on both other credit agencies it is, but not on yours, and you have a random date in August 2025, which dosnt tally up to any dates, and you are ao slow in responding and taking action, and in the mean time I have had credit refused, and still need to wait 28 days for you to reply, it's not fair when you are affecting peoples mental health welfare, which could result in someone losing out on a home etc.

I've been a PayPal account holder since…

I've been a PayPal account holder since 2004. I moved home for about 6 weeks to allow repairs to be carried out. I'm due to move back in a few weeks. I decided that I'd like to make a purchase using my PayPal "Pay in 3" facility but for the first time in 21 years I was refused because of something that this company told PayPal. It's obviously got something to do with my temporary change of address. I'm lucky, I can pay via my direct debit card for all of my purchases I'm just annoyed that this can happen. I'm now giving serious thought to closing my PayPal account.
