I highly recommend Slavic
I highly recommend Slavic. He and Dima fitted three doors in my hall, and rehung double doors that had been badly fitted by other carpenters. They arrived on time, having been incredibly flexible with timing. The quality of the work is excellent, they were friendly and upbeat, despite needing to correct someone elses poor craftsmanship, and they left my house spotless. I will absolutely call Slavic again and recommend his work to family and friends.

I couldn’t be happier with the service…
I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Mark McLoughlin. I had a leak from my flexible kitchen tap and, as I’m extremely nervous about anything plumbing-related, I was quite panicked about the possibility of it getting worse and causing water damage. I didn’t even know where the water could be turned off if there was an emergency.
I posted the job on Tradesman.ie at around 10:30 in the morning, and Mark was one of six tradesmen who contacted me. He immediately put my mind at ease. He asked me for photographs of the tap and the plumbing under the sink, gave me an initial overview quote, and then started sourcing the materials.
He sent me a photo of one tap he had found, but I explained that it was too small for what I needed. I have a large sink and need a tap with plenty of reach, so he sourced another one — and he got it absolutely right. The replacement tap is actually much better than the one I had before. The flow is fantastic, it’s so easy to use, and I can move it exactly where I need it. I can fill things in no time and even wash a huge cabbage in the sink! I hadn’t realised how awkward my old tap was until I used this one.
Mark arrived exactly when he said he would, with everything he needed, and had the whole job completed by lunchtime. He discovered that there were actually two leaks, one at the top and one underneath that I hadn’t even noticed. He replaced the unit, cleaned everything up beautifully and took the old one away.
What really impressed me, though, was how thorough and professional he was. He checked everything carefully and even used a tissue to demonstrate that there were absolutely no leaks. He then took the time to explain all the different fittings and valves under my sink and showed me exactly where I could turn off the water for the tap, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as the main water supply. He also showed me the electrical switches and explained how to turn off the appliances if necessary.
That was incredibly reassuring for me, because I’m now much more confident about what to do if I ever have a problem in the future. He also came in significantly under his original quote, which was a lovely surprise.
Mark was communicative, punctual, knowledgeable, efficient and an absolute gentleman. I’m very particular about who I allow to work in my home, but I was so impressed that I’ve added him to my contacts. I honestly wouldn’t bother calling anyone else for plumbing work in the future.
An absolute joy to deal with, and I would highly recommend him without hesitation. A fantastic tradesman and a genuinely lovely person

Extremely good painters
Gezim and Mohammad are extremely good painters and we are very happy with the job they completed. They painted the inside of our house (walls and ceilings) and had it all finished in 8 days from start to finish.
While they don’t work on Fridays they did offer work over the weekend to keep the job going.
Very happy with the quality and cleanliness.
