Simple process from valuation to receiving payment. Would recommend for trading in old devices.

Sent my B&O headphones in the original case and original box along with both cables (one never used and still in its plastic sleeve). Then received a text at 22.42 on a Saturday night saying “The headphones are faulty, with a crackling sound coming from the right side during audio playback.
The headphones are also in poor overall cosmetic condition, with visible signs of wear.

As a result, we’re able to offer you a revised value of £10.
I’ve texted back and not had a reply yet and attempted calling the number they quote (020 7070 8222) but to date without it being answered.
As others have said, do not use this company (in hindsight I should have checked reviews on here first).
I’ll update this if things change and as others have done will report this to trading standards.

So today I’ve been contacted and have arranged for the return of my item, which I have paid for and emailed the prepaid label to them. Hopefully my item is back with me in a the next 48 hours in the condition I sent it, at which point I’ll update this further.
Update:
I’ve just received my headphones back and am pleasantly surprised to find all is in order. I’m not sure what’s gone on here, as they aren’t faulty as per their diagnosis so I guess they just didn’t want them?

I sold set Air Pods max pro 1st gen USB C. The price I received was very reasonable as selling to a business, might have got more on eBay but these guys removed the hassle. Impressed as payment made the same day they received them. Deal with them with confidence.

Super quick, whole process took 6 days. Only quibble is,no communication of receiving(device) I only knew when money hit my bank account. Will use again.

Quick process and excellent customer service

I sent two electrical items to TradeIn.co.uk expecting the process described on their website. Unfortunately, my experience has been very frustrating.

I was unhappy with the valuation offered for my items and did not feel that the explanation I received adequately addressed my concerns.

I then had a separate issue when arranging the return of my items. I was directed to a Royal Mail return process which appeared to require me to pay for the return. This confused me because the information I had seen on TradeIn.co.uk’s website indicated that returns following rejection of an offer could be free.

I contacted customer service to try to clarify this. I found the call extremely frustrating and felt that I was repeatedly interrupted rather than being given an opportunity to properly explain my concern. The call ended before I felt that the issue had been resolved.

I subsequently contacted TradeIn.co.uk in writing and provided screenshots of the website information that had caused my confusion.

Update – 29 September 2026:
Following further correspondence, TradeIn.co.uk has now confirmed that both of my items are being returned and has provided Royal Mail tracking information. I can see from the tracking that the items have been dispatched.

I am therefore updating this review to reflect the fact that the position regarding the return has now changed.

My review reflects my personal experience of the valuation process, the return-label issue and my customer-service experience. I found the overall process considerably more frustrating than I expected.

Nothing to say which is a good thing! Excellent price, arrived next day using free label, paid full amount the same day with no quibbling or trying to downgrade condition rating. Hope to use again!

Wow! What an amazing company.
My wife and I decided to send our Apple Airbuds as they offered the best price to buy them .
After sending them by post (free) within 2 days we heard from them offering the best price. Once accepted the payment was made to our bank within a couple of hours.

Very simple to follow process input correct details of iphone and its condition for a trade in with set amount offered then use there royal mail account to produce postage label and posted and within a few days money in bank account, no BS from other companies who try it on with lies about the phones condition upon inspection and drastically reduce the offerred price hoping you will accept which i have experienced and had a phone returned then re sent to trade in who honured there price offerred as there was no scratches on the phone that the 1st company was lying about.
