I don’t usually leave reviews, but after the experience I’ve had with Towns End Double Glazing, I felt they thoroughly deserved one.

From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. The owner personally came out to inspect the work required, take measurements, and discuss the job with me. The work itself was relatively small – replacing a blown window unit and changing some handles – but I was treated with the same care and attention as if it were a much larger project.

What stood out immediately was how friendly and approachable he was. We ended up having a great conversation while he was carrying out the measurements. At one point he recommended Hozier, who he’d seen live. I initially said I didn’t know who he was, only to realise later that I actually listen to several of his songs and just never knew the artist’s name! It was such a small thing, but it summed up the whole experience – professional, but also genuinely friendly and personable. And for the record, Hozier is great!

The communication throughout was excellent. The member of staff who called me to arrange the installation was incredibly polite and professional. They even contacted me in the evening because an earlier appointment had become available. They were very apologetic about calling at that time, but I genuinely appreciated it as I was due to go on holiday and it helped get the work completed sooner. It’s rare to find people who are so considerate and courteous.

On the day of the installation, the team arrived exactly when they said they would. What really impressed me was that they came up and knocked on my door simply to let me know they had arrived and would be about five minutes while they unloaded their tools. It may seem like a small gesture, but it’s a level of courtesy and professionalism that you don’t often see these days.

Kevin and Gavin carried out the work and were an absolute credit to the company. They were friendly, respectful, tidy, efficient, and genuinely lovely people to have in my home. Before coming in, they even offered to take their shoes off at the door, which was another thoughtful touch that showed respect for my home. It’s the little things like that that really stand out. They completed the work to a very high standard and even took the time to tighten some of my other window handles that didn’t actually need replacing.

What stood out most was how polite everyone was. From the owner, to the person who called me, to Kevin and Gavin, every interaction was professional, friendly, and respectful. In a world where people are often quick to complain and where great customer service can sometimes feel rare, Towns End Double Glazing reminded me how good it feels to deal with a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

This feels like a company built on traditional values, taking pride in its work and treating customers properly. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to friends, family, or anyone looking for honest, reliable, and professional service.
