My loan servicing has been with Towne Mortgage approximately 4 years now. I have only had to call on an issue 2 or 3 times and each time it was handled well. The most complex issue was called because I was able to reduce my insurance, and the insurance company issued a large check to me and the mortgage. I was able to easily work with the employees at Towne mortgage to get a refund of the excess money and have them recalculate my impound account once I could get a statement of the new premium from my insurance company.

I cannot express how frustrated I am with my experience dealing with TOWNE MORTGAGE COMPANY. They have been charging me arbitrary fees without any explanation and completely ignoring my inquiries.

I took out a loan with them a while back, and suddenly I started noticing extra charges on my statements, including like double charged monthly payment, late payment fees, additional unknown fees, etc. None of these fees were mentioned in our initial agreement, and when I tried to get answers, I was met with absolute silence from their customer service department and other departments.

I've sent multiple emails and made numerous phone calls over three months, but it's like talking to a brick wall. The lack of transparency and the company's refusal to respond to my legitimate concerns is appalling.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from TOWNE MORTGAGE COMPANY. Their business practices are unethical, and they clearly have no regard for their customers' rights or concerns. I am now having no choice to escalate this matter to the Towne Mortgage Company management and regulatory authorities and seek legal remedies to resolve this dispute, and I urge others who have faced similar issues to do the same.

Avoid TOWNE MORTGAGE COMPANY at all costs. You deserve a loan company that treats you with respect and transparency, which clearly isn't the case here. Once again, I would like to advise everyone to choose a legitimate, reliable loan company as much as possible! Don’t choose an unscrupulous loan company, otherwise it will definitely leave you with a lot of debt, and you will be unable to get rid of it like being sucked into a black hole……
