They have allowed one of their tenants to park their vehicles dangerously close to my partners drive.
They are refusing to discuss this with the tenant , even though their are legally responsible for the tenant’s housing as it is through Sheffield council.
As long as they get their rent they do not care who they house , their tenant is the only person on the street who is council everyone else has purchased.
If my partner has an accident exiting onto the highway with no visibility of oncoming traffic due to their tenants dangerous parking , I will be taking LEGAL ACTION against touchstone.
EDIT: I have messaged 6 people from this housing association even the OPS manager and have never received a response.

I rented a property with touchstone back around 2019/2020 with a family member. Around a year and a half into the tenancy I moved out due to a falling out with the other tenant. I emailed touchstone 5-10 times and rang on numerous other occasions to notify them I had left the property. They said I had to get agreement from the other tenant for this to happen. The other tenant didn’t cooperate so that I would be liable for debts ran up under the address. Touchstone took no responsibility and just left me on the tenancy despite my numerous attempts to take it further. I now am liable for over £20,000 in rent arrears as it was impossible to remove myself from the tenancy. I would say terrible customer service but there wasn’t any customer service at all. I would expect touchstone to take responsibility for a tenant who was trapping me into a tenancy and running up debts in my name.

On March 13th I mentioned friends in Tapestry Gardens Birkenhead who had complained about a water leak since last May. After my comments they were contacted by a manager from Touchstone who promised to deal with the issue. They sent a handyman, who seemed incompetent and said he was too busy. My friends sent pictures and videos to Touchstone. The leak is so bad that the carpets are ruined and they are unable to bathe or do their washing. They have refused to pay the rent until the serious problem is fixed. It clearly needs a specialist contractor not a handyman to fix the problem, but Touchstone do not seem to appreciate this. They had to use my washing machine because to use theirs would mean flooding the living room floor even more !!

Before I start let me just say this review is placed on a personnel experience .
It starts with just one name
Georgia this member of staff has supported me through all my process into my new home
Above and beyond is a phrase I include but it still was much more
I had doubts about the process it was a frustrating experience at times but this very kind lady dealt with all my thoughts and queries .
When I was at a tipping point of walking away she came to the front line again and dealt with me with care and at times emotional understanding
I am not sure if this is the training or a developed character but I rarely experience this level of ability or duty of care
I am in a retail mechanical industry. And it’s how I work myself I treat every problem and every customer I’m the way I would also like to be treated . So I end either the words EXCELLENT GEORGIA!!!!!

I feel so lucky to have this company under my tenancy agreement, as they are really helpful and caring people when us, costumers, more need it, because, at the end , people can struggle sometimes, and they showed us that closeness and understanding. And that’s what a costumer expects from the business to do for us. At least myself. Especially thanks to Coco Blunos , my agent, I’m never gonna forget everything she’s doing for me.

A very good experience throughout our 2 year tenancy. Extremely prompt to resolve any issue with polite, helpful staff. Extremely smooth checkout when moving out and very fair and transparent when it came to returning the deposit. Best experience I've had with a property management service.

Emailed early December to end my tenancy for 6th February. It took weeks to get confirmation of this.
Were told agent would check us out between 12pm and 6pm, we booked the day off work and waited all day, no one showed up, no phone call, no email no apology. No instructions given on what to do with keys so we kept them safe with us until instructed otherwise, and moved to our new home.
Again, no contact for a fortnight, before they eventually asked us to drive back to the property (45 minutes each way) and put them through the letterbox.
No contact again for days, and finally a deposit return agreement email came over which we agreed to right away. 3 weeks since we received this email...
5 weeks after move-out, no deposit, and almost no communication.
Every time I've called the office, I'm on hold for over 45 minutes before finally giving up. Calls never returned, the few emails that we have received since December have all been from a different person. We have had no clue who our designated property manager has been since it changed in June 2024, which it seems is a deliberate move to make it unclear who to contact.
This has been the most unprofessional, drawn out and chaotic move-out from a property I have ever experienced. If I wasn't in desperate need of my deposit returned it would be hilarious.
It's not that complicated. If there is a delay in processing a tenants deposit, why not have a copy+paste email template apologising for the delay, and giving an approximate time frame to expect it. It's such a small thing, that would make a huge difference to a tenant's level of worry. If I missed my rent by 1 day, the phone calls and emails were immediate.
I'd suggest anybody who's been in a similar situation with Touchstone to also take this to the council as I will be, in the hopes that, eventually they will improve the woeful levels of service for their future tenants.
Deposits are not trivial amounts of money, tenants need them returned to survive and secure future accommodation.
I'd rather not receive a response asking me to email the feedback email address as I have no faith my email will be answered. I will not spend any more of my life attempting to make contact. I would just like to warn others of the potentially massive amounts of time you will waste and unnecessary stress you will likely experience renting from Touchstone.

Just moved in to our new place at Cambridge with the help of a bunch of good and very professional people from the Touchstone. The whole process was super simple and prompt with the Residently App. Want to give a 5 star again after moving out, hopefully the maintenance and after sale services will be same just like the warm welcome. Very happy and recommended.

I have been living here for approximately 8 months, I really appreciate getting the staff accommodation, especially really close to my workplace. The touchstone team staff are lovely and supportive with replying emails and raising concerns.
May I take this chance to thank our Estate Technical Manager, Tony Lewis, who is very responsible for replying quickly email and giving very clear instructions.
