TLC came highly recommended and we must say we were not disappointed. Leo “choreographed” our trip to perfection. Timing was perfect, transfers between hotels, cities were perfect. Balance between visiting sites and relaxing were perfect.
TLC will be the go-to for the perfect customized trip to Sri Lanka.

We put ourselves in TLC's hands regarding the itinerary, providing dates and intensity desired ("relaxed"). Our four days were anchored with a major site each day, with plenty of time to explore on our own and relax at a luxury hotel. Perfect pacing resulted.

Our driver, Lalith, speaks great English and drives a spotless minivan that comfortably seats 5-6 pax plus luggage. More importantly, he's a safe driver.

The pricing was fair, and Sri Lanka remains a very affordable holiday destination. Highly recommended.

We travelled with a 1 year old and the trip couldn’t have gone better.

The accomodations that were booked and the experiences that were considered were extremely accomodating with the fact that we travelled with the little guy.

In addition, we loved Kingsley who was our tour guide for the entire trip and an amazing person.

Last but not the least, Srilanka and the Sri Lankans, please take a bow. They are so nice and compassionate. It made the trip so much easier. Everywhere we went, they accommodated our request for the baby food requirements, cuddled him while we ate at the restaurant. It was so smooth for a first time parents.

All in all, it was amazing seven days in Lanka for us. And the country is beautiful to say the least.

We were a party of 10. Our cruise ship embarked at Colombo port, we were efficiently met by the TLC representative. The itenary was carefully crafted by Leo for our day trip to include iconic areas of Colombo. We had lunch at the impressive colonial Galle face hotel, it was interesting to learn about the place it's self where it had guest from royalty , head of states and Hollywood actors within the gust list.
Leo is very knowledgeable and took us to new and old local parts of the city explaing the history.
We also were treated to some authentic Cylon tea in a stylish tea house.
We felt very comfortable and relaxed and would certainly recommend their services.

Our three week trip around Sri Lanka began just as Cyclone Ditwah arrived, causing havoc and destruction across the country. But TLC (and specifically Leo) did an amazing job of reorganising our itinerary to avoid the disaster areas until the roads were accessible. He managed to do this while retaining all our original hotel choices and keeping us safe. Kingsley, our driver, was a key factor in being able to adapt the plans - he was reliable, experienced and helpful. Ultimately, we only missed a few attractions due to roads being flooded or railway tracks collapsing.
The late arrival of the monsoon did not help matters, but even so, we had a really great trip - it would have been absolutely brilliant had the weather been normal!
All our accommodation was high quality and staff had been well briefed regarding our room preferences and dietary restrictions (I am coeliac). When we feared being marooned by flood waters, Leo promptly arranged to move us to a lovely hotel on higher ground.
The planning of the whole trip fitted our needs and expectations and communications both before and during the trip were outstanding. And we had some excellent local guides.
We highly recommend this company to provide the best travel experience in this beautiful country.

Our trip to Sri Lanka was nothing short of incredible, thanks to the amazing team behind this travel company. From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully planned and flawlessly executed. Leonid, the owner, put together an itinerary that perfectly balanced adventure, culture, and relaxation, and it was clear how much care went into selecting each experience.

Our guide, Hemantha, was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, warm, and patient, and he made us feel safe, welcomed, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire journey. Whether he was pointing out wildlife, explaining cultural history, or helping us navigate local spots, he added so much depth and meaning to our trip.

Some of the highlights included riding the iconic Nuwara Eliya train to Ella, touring the lush tea plantations, hiking through breathtaking landscapes, seeing wild elephants up close, and ending our days relaxing by the beautiful beaches. Each stop felt curated with intention, and we never once had to worry about logistics — everything was handled seamlessly.

The hotel selection deserves special praise. Every place we stayed was beautiful, comfortable, and unique in its own way. It was clear that a lot of thought went into choosing locations that enhanced the experience, whether it was waking up to mountain views or listening to the ocean at night.

We cannot thank Leonid and Hemantha enough for giving us a trip we will never forget. If you’re considering visiting Sri Lanka, look no further. This is the team you want by your side.

Our group has just returned from 2 fabulous weeks in Sri Lanka that was split into 2 parts. The first part was a beach holiday in wonderful Bentota. This was a large group of 50 all together to celebrate a milestone birthday. Leo from TLC was beyond brilliant. Catering to 50 different people and their different needs would be challenging but was all handled professionally and thoughtfully.
The second part of our holiday was just 6 of us travelling onwards to Ella and Kandy by train and vehicle with overnight stays at Mountbatten Bungalow and the incredible Geoffrey Bawa designed Heritance Kandalama Hotel. Here we were able to climb Lion Rock at Sigiriya.
Leo and TLC organised everything from our hotel transfers to local guides, our brilliant chauffeur Sisera. They responded instantly to requests and changes.
I rarely write reviews but I have to say this experience sets the gold standard for tour operators.

We had an absolutely amazing experience booking our holiday to Sri Lanka with TLC. From start to finish, Leo was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to understand our preferences and crafted an itinerary that exceeded our expectations. Our travels were seamless, driving routes were planned so that it was manageable and not during peak hours. A big mention to Kingsley who was our driver for most of the trip, not only was he a lovely person to share our time with, he made sure that we were always comfortable and recommended some great hidden gems along the way.
All the accommodation booked was beautiful and Leo really listened to what we wanted.
He was always available to answer any questions, making the entire process stress-free.

Leo did an excellent job organising our tour to Tissamahrama, Ella, Nuwara Eliya and Hatton. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The full itinerary from the coach hire, accommodation, to the various attractions along the way were all well organised by Leo . The coach drivers and guide arranged by him for our tour looked after us very well from the time they picked us up to the time they dropped us off back in Colombo. Leo came highly recommended to me and his expertise, attentiveness and kindness were evident in the travel plan he designed for us and in our interactions with him. I have been to Sri Lanka many times however I wanted to show my wife the country for our honeymoon. I saw many places on this trip that I would never have known about, despite being Sri Lankan myself.
We received a carefully thought out travel itinerary that was based on our preferences, despite only giving him fairly short notice. He responded promptly to our queries so we could plan the perfect holiday.
All aspects of the holiday were planned in advance, and Leo had clearly spoken to many of the hotel/resort managers before we arrived so that our dietary requirements were expected and everything ran smoothly.
Our tour guide, Kingsley, was an excellent guide and driver. He took care to find out our individual needs, such as finding street-side mango and king coconut water, machines to make traditional Sri Lankan food, and a traditional Sri Lankan sarong, and incorporated these into the existing travel itinerary. He was very knowledgeable about the various sites we visited.
During this trip we saw parts of the cultural triangle and the northern province - we will certainly ask Leo to help plan our next holiday to the south!

My husband and I travelled with TLC on our honeymoon in 2023. We are from Ireland and a number of our friends had travelled with them previously. Their rave reviews were what encouraged us to book too.
From the moment I contacted Leo in TLC, he was incredible. Our trip was last minute as our alternative travel plans to Peru were cancelled due to unrest. However, Leo was helpful, resourceful and speedy in his response times, making the change in destination smooth and stress free. There were certain things we wanted to do and Leo was very accommodating in adding them to our itinerary while also using his own local knowledge to build a fantastic plan for our trip. Our two weeks travelling around Sri Lanka were absolutely phenomenal and Leo arranged every part of that for us. He kindly met us at the airport and gave us local gifts in celebration of our new marriage. Just so thoughtful!

We had a driver called Sanjeewa who was with us for the entire trip. He was soooo nice. He followed Leo's itinerary closely, always getting us to destinations on time and ensuring that we had the best experiences. He was super kind and would often stop at the side of the road so we could meet local craftspeople or to get us a coffee or a refreshing drink of king coconut water!
Every hotel we stayed in was gorgeous and always had stunning views. We felt safe the entire time we were in Sri Lanka.
Travelling Sri Lanka with TLC is the perfect way to experience nature, culture and beaches without breaking the bank! Highlights for us were visiting the Elephant freedom project, climbing Sigiriya rock, the local lunch, Dambulla temple, our two safaris and learning to surf in Weligama. I could go on forever but honestly, don't think twice, book with TLC and you won't regret it!
