As you can see from the ratings, i am not alone in my negative thoughts. This man is a scammer, he gives you a great price if you pay upfront - everyone being human takes the offer - and he never fulfills his part of the bargain as he doesn't pay his teachers and keeps it all for his retirement in 2 years time. He has been taken to tribunal many times, last year in September being one of them, which he lost. He has the gift of the gab as he is full of it, just don't be taken in by his fake words like we were. We lost our money, he didn't pay it back and now doesn't answer any messages. His full name is Mr Peter Kellitt, born August 1960. His own son oliver cook resigned in 2023 when he found out what he was doing. Please read all the negative reviews. If you are a teacher - don't get involved with Peter Kellit, he will not pay you - at some point you will lose hundreds of pounds. If you are a student/parent, dont listen to him. He gives you a very cheap price, BUT you have to pay it all up front - and you will never get your money back when you are not happy with the service he doesn't give you.

The man in question is called PETER KELLIT, he is a man with no scruples whatsoever, he will take your money whether you are a child, disabled child, single parent or parent with no money. He highest teachers from outside of England so that when he doesn't pay them he knows there's less chance of them causing him a problem in the courts. This phenomenon blackfired on him the last September in 2024 when a foreign lady did take him to court and he didn't even show up and lost. Parents beware because what he does is he promises you the world and also at a very cheap price but the downside is you have to pay all the money up front and of course when you do that bye-bye money, he has no respect for anyone and he doesn't pay his teachers so he keeps all the money himself. How does he live with himself, how does he sleep at night well when you are pure evil you have no conscience.

Like all other reviews, peter kellit, son oliver reed takes all the money students pay for their tuition, he hires foreigners with a few english teachers and gets them to work for 2 months with no payment, and he keeps it all. I have never met such a cold, nasty person who takes the money from teachers with kids and families who need to pay the bills. We have contacted INDEED and COMPANY HOUSE trying to get him banned so he can never do this again.

Peter has systemically failed my son’s chances at achieving his potential at his GCSE’s . He should not be around children in any capacity or directing their education .
I can only describe him as a habitual liar .
False promises of other exam options, a sense of desperate excitement to get money for the pre paid lessons . He may seem polite and helpful. He promised day after day to repay money that never appears ; after failing to provide a service that he seemed so passionate about.

I too have a story to tell about THSA.

Peter is a man who seems to be honest and forthright but he is anything but! Empty promises week in and week out.
I joined THSA in August last year and was paid timeously for the two months I had students. I then had other students from January until April 2025.
I was paid a portion of what I earned for Mar/Apr, his was eventually paid on 20th May, almost a full month after the due date of 28 April. There is still an outstanding amount due. I have not been paid Feb/Mar. and after many many Whatsapp calls and messages and empty promises every single time I have still not been paid. I have kept records of all of this and, to date, it amounts to 5 pages of information.
This is my main source of income so it has impacted hugely on my life and caused unnecessary stress and emotional burnout.

Be aware
It is clear to me that Peter appears to be a confidence scammer. It seems that the more money he owes to people the more afraid they are to write reviews for fear of NEVER getting paid.

My partner has been owed an outstanding amount of money from this guy and even when I spoke to him all she ever seemed to get were empty ptomises that placate her for yet another few days or weeks.

I also was a PA for 2 months and guess what, I never received payment of my 2 invoices either!

Our lives have been deeply affected by Peter's actions or rather non-actions. My partner has developed some serious health issues since being involved with THSA not least due to the immense stress she has been under because of all this.

I had to say my piece for the world to see because enough is enough!!

Like my partner, I originally posted this review on 24 May and was asked by Peter to suspend the review until Wednesday 28 May. I did not appreciate after Peter ringing and speaking to me, begging me to ask her to remove the review until 28 May, him to then ring her with yet more empty promises on her birthday which was 2 days ago and still nothing!!!!

Here is my UPDATED review.

Today, I tell my story with THSAonline and association with Peter Kellitt.

I had been a tutor at THSA since May last year. In August last year I took on the role of administrator and must say that as far as I could tell, my predecessor was not very on top of things and did appear to be rather unprofessional in his approach at various junctures. However, my experience since then is that Peter Kellitt [the director and owner] had built up an extensive unpaid bill for my services. The bill was so high that it had serious effects on my health and I had to take 2 months sabbatical to focus on my declining health and give Peter an opportunity to pay up without the bill increasing. Having still not been paid I sought legal advice, I agreed to a payment plan but that was not honoured either. At this time, I was stuck between a rock and a hard place; lose thousands and apply for complulsory liquidation or try and help bring the company back into a viable state.

I agreed to accept a percentage of shares in exchange for the unpaid invoices along with me working full time to turn things around for a lowly service fee of only £300 per week. I also assumed the role of Head of Academic Services. That was in mid January of this year.

Still, this was not honoured and I had to cease my services around 2 or 3 weeks ago after allowing him to build up an overdue amount totaling 6 weeks. Why did I allow him to let the unpaid bill build up again, I hear you ask? Because I felt a duty of care to tutors and students and felt that I needed to do whatever I could to protect their interests even if it would be at the expence of my own interests.

The great tutors, parents and students make THSA what it is with their dedication and motivations.
Thank you to all tutors and students at THSA. I thoroughly enjoyed my time helping you all.

Even being told 2 weeks ago that I would be paid within the next 2-3 days and here we are again! And again the day before yesterday that I would receive 'some' of what was owed the next day, here we are again 2 days later.....I am so tired of these unfulfilled promises.

My gripe is with Peter, not tutors, parents or students and if any of you miss me then, you can thank Peter for letting me go by not doing right by me.

I originally posted this updated review on 24 May and was asked by Peter to suspend the review until Wednesday 28 May with yet more promises of being paid at least some of what I am owed but, here we are again again, over another week later and nothing...I AM EXASPERATED!!

A Warning to Fellow Tutors and Clients – Do Not Work with Peter

I feel compelled to share my experience with Peter, as I believe other tutors and clients should be aware of the serious issues surrounding his business practices. I provided tutoring services for his company, going above and beyond to ensure that my student received the best possible preparation for her exam. However, I was repeatedly let down by Peter’s failure to pay me for my time and effort.

Non-Payment and Delayed Lessons:
I have now been waiting for payment for several tutoring sessions, and despite multiple promises from Peter, the money has not been received. After multiple assurances, the payment was delayed by weeks, and I eventually had to pause lessons for the student due to this unresolved issue. I am not the only one—numerous other tutors are still waiting for large sums of money for work already completed. This is not a one-off situation. Peter has a pattern of failing to meet his financial obligations, and I’ve been informed by others in the same position that they too have been lied to about when payment will be made.

Unprofessional Communication and Lies:
Not only did Peter fail to pay me, but he also repeatedly contacted me with excuses for why the payment was delayed. He would often call me (never leaving replying to my emails - I suppose to not leave a trail) asking questions about processes that he should already have been familiar with as a business owner. These calls felt like attempts to “trip me up” or distract from the real issue of non-payment. His stories would change from week to week, and he would provide increasingly bizarre excuses for the delay.

Impact on My Livelihood:
This has affected me both professionally and personally. As a tutor, I rely on this income to provide extra support myself and these unpaid hours have caused significant stress. I trusted Peter to honour our agreement, but instead, he played with my time and money.

Conclusion:
If you are a tutor, I would strongly advise against working with Peter. His business practices are dishonest, and his lack of payment shows a total disregard for the value of your work. If you are a potential client, I would also caution you to think twice before trusting his services. This type of behaviour is unacceptable, and I believe more people should be made aware of it. I’m also leaving this review to support other tutors who are also still fighting to be paid for their time and effort.

I will be taking further action to recover the money owed to me, and I hope this review helps others avoid falling into the same situation.

Please disregard my last review with 5 stars, this was more aimed at Colette and Rokia and the service i received from them both.
In regards to starting with THSA in January its been a total NIGHTMARE. My first tutor advised me that Peter was a scam artist and that he doesn't pay tutors and takes money from people and will not deliver the promises he makes. In short i should of believed her but i didn't i spoke to Peter about this, who then got Colette involved who was totally brilliant and got me in touch with Rokia my new tutor.
Everything was going well until a few weeks ago when Rokia stopped tutoring me due to not being paid. I had also sent Peter yet more money for some extra lessons. After speaking to Peter he said he would assign me yet another new tutor and not to worry. I also needed to take a resit, which again Peter promised he was going to book for me due to all the inconvenience i had suffered, again hasn't happened. I have had to pay and book the resit myself due to deadlines of needing a pass. I have been told by Peter i would receive a refund for the extra money i paid for the lessons and still nothing and now no response to any messages im sending,
This has been such a stressful 5 months for me trying to study pass exams and working full time in a clinical profession.

This company used to be really good, but it has fell down a cliff ever since. While Peter seems a nice person and is polite, he doesn't deliver on his promises and leaves you disappointed and frustrated. This is in relation to payments. I have not received my payments in months now, and it is got to the fact now, that I am considering legal action. He has got to pay up. I would not recommend working for him.

Peter comes across very helpful and positive, I can assure you he is a SCAM ARTIST! He has taken my money for home schooling and functional skills exams to be able to get my son into college. We have been let down with tutors not turning up to lessons due to them not being paid. My son was supposed to take his first exam in March, which never happened. When contacting Peter, his response is to give you a refund which is applied 28th of every month, 28th of the month comes and no money refunded. I’m now left with no extra funds to get exams taken for my son which has jeopardised his chances of getting into college. Check out his previous companies reviews. How this man is able to destroy children’s education and future is shocking.

The answer to Peters reply, he has not given me the full amount of refund only half, clearly to try and keep me quiet and bide himself more time for more excuses. I’ve been expecting a refund for 3 months and only got half. With regards to absences that is due to your mismanagement of putting lessons into place which left us online with no tutor. Tutors don’t show as they have not been paid. If my child didn’t show to lesson I didn’t receive a call from a tutor like promised to inform me. I have all the screen shots of being in lesson and no tutor present.

My daughter is really enjoying her Maths tuition with Nausha her tutor who works for THSAonline, she now has more confidence in going for her exams compared to the beginning of the the year when we enrolled . Colette has been great in contacting me whenever there is a change in timing and so is Peter. Overall excellent service thanks so much. Looking forward to A-level support from THSAonline soon.

Peter has been scamming people for years, repeatedly targeting vulnerable individuals. He refuses to pay tutors and wastes students’ time and educational opportunities. It's time we take action. Peter knows me I worked for him and he never payed me saying parents didn’t pay him and he doesn’t have money. I have whatsapp chat If you want proof.

I have had a great experience with this company and especially Colette she has been so supportive making sure i have the best tutors and lessons which suit me around working full time and being an adult learner it has been stressful but Colette has been amazing checking on me throughout to make sure i'm ok and if there is anything i need. The Tutors especially Rokia has gone above and beyond to make sure im confident to take exams. I Highly recommend

Do not part with any money to this company as you will receive nothing but grief from the owner, tutors are not paid and lessons are cancelled

Unrolled my daughter following her GSCE exams needed retaking, and can honestly say that the online tutoring was incredible. Flexible, friendly and really understood her.

While Peter is a very nice and friendly person, the tutoring service in itself was disappointing. I specifically needed tutoring in preparation for an ACA examination, and I was reassured by Peter that there was someone readily available to start the following day. Once I’d transferred the money over for the 10 hour package, the arranging of the sessions became more difficult, as it became apparent that the tutor had limited availability – this resulted in starting the sessions 2 days later than initially promised. Unfortunately the tutor was incredibly disappointing – they did not put their camera on, did not show calculations during the time when we practiced ONE exam question, and ultimately got the figures wrong. Following this experience, I spoke to Peter, who assured me I would get a refund and that the tutor’s approach was not in line with THSA Online’s standards. Despite this seeming agreement as to the sub-par quality of the session, I was still charged £70 for this time. After multiple phone calls, messages and emails, I eventually got my refund for the remaining 8 hours. As per the above, I would not recommend THSA for any ACA-related study support.
