We're in our second High School Math course with Thinkwell, Geometry last year and just started Precalculus. Two of our sons have really enjoyed your courses and seem to be grasping difficult principles and learning a lot. Your whole teaching system with online videos, textbook, and automated grading are very easy to use and helpful for us as parents. Thank you for your excellence!

Great program! We’ve used it for several of our kids.

We just installed Think well on our computer. The instructions were very easy to follow. I would rate my experience, a 10+

easy to choose levels and basic or honors, easy to purchase, easy to get my son working on it, and easy for him to navigate a new program.

I enjoy the instructional videos and the real-life application of the math. Professor Burger is also entertaining and keeps my interest. I like the online problems, using the printed worksheets, and the ability to do quizzes/tests printed or online. Very flexible.

We love Thinkwell for many reasons:
1. The excellent instruction by Edward Burger (and his fantastic sense of humor and savvy ties)
2. Ease of use with the website
3. Customer service that is above and beyond
4. Thinkwell math has taken such a burden off my homeschool plate, and I recommend it to everyone!!

There were some small issues with some of the exercises. Also the wording on some of the exercises was confusing. This was for the geometry class. On the other hand the office hours are very useful and the ability to figure out what you can skip by taking assessments makes it easy not to waste time.

The kids responded well to the programs last year. It's made learning engaging and understandable. We are beginning year 2 - pre-algebra and algebra.

We love this program!!

My son is really resistant when it comes to learning due to being twice exceptional. He feels he should already know what is being taught and gets frustrated when he doesn't. Math is taught using videos, games, and worksheets so while he knows he is learning, it is in a different way so he doesn't fight me on doing the math. He is doing the pre-algebra review.

After much independent research and convos with Thinkwell, we were able to make determinations about what would best serve our children regarding ACT testing and college admission. Thinkwell’s advice matched my independent personal research regarding what math to take, and the programs are set up for student success. Both of my children had positive experiences with both the high school and college level math programs. They are paced well and user friendly. And both kids scored well on the ACT after completing their math programs with Thinkwell.

The issue I had with Thinkwell is the same issue I had with Holt as a teacher. The questions are repetitive. There shouldn't be duplicate questions in an extra practice set of questions. That's bad coding or programming.

Prompt service and response to my question

Thinkwell calculus teaches the subject in small, very intellectually digestible bites. The 8-12 minute conceptual lectures is quickly followed by short problem assignments for reinforcement. Dr Burger's presentation of the material is as delightful (fun!) as it is rigorous. But do not be fooled...this is a serious treatment of the subject. Great lectures to teach calculus, or to augment a course you are enrolled in.
Subjects are easily indexed for quick access (e.g. go straight to implicit differentiation lecture & problems). You can do homework problems as much as you like. The folks at Thinkwell are very responsive to any tech issues you might have. Well done!
