Tanz welcomed us all in to a room laid out with piping bags, nozzles of all shapes and sizes, brightly coloured butter icing and glasses of fizz!
There were 12 of us participating in the flower cupcake workshop. Tanz demonstrated how to pipe, for example, gerbera, then let us get on with it. She walked around the room correcting and encouraging everyone as they piped.
We all went home with a lovely presentation box of 6 cupcakes decorated by ourselves, along with inspiration to continue piping at home.

I had such a fantastic evening at the cupcake decorating workshop with Tanz. We learned how to create beautifully detailed floral designs, and I was amazed by what I was able to achieve in just one session.
Tanz is an incredibly patient, encouraging and talented teacher. She created a relaxed and supportive environment that gave everyone the confidence to learn, experiment and develop their skills throughout the evening. No question was too small, and her guidance made even the most intricate techniques feel achievable.
The workshop was not only educational but also great fun. It was wonderful to learn something completely new and tap into a more creative side of my brain. The focus required meant I truly switched off from everyday life and was able to completely disconnect for a few hours.
I left feeling proud of what I’d created, inspired to continue practising, and excited to build on the skills I’d learned. I can’t wait for the next session and would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to learn a new skill in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Tanz was amazing from start to finish. The careful consideration about what the cake was for but ‘who’ it was for, she wanted to know about my Mum, who was turning 80, and made the most beautiful fabulous amazing creative yummy cake that really incorporated who my Mum is. Little nods to my Mums personality with such elegant creativity. Thank you so much!

Tanz is supremely talented and creates the most incredible edible art. She was able to take a vague idea from me and transform it into something truly amazing we will always remember. Communication was a breeze. Worth every penny and then some!

We were so impressed by Tanz and her amazing effort to create the whole vision we had for our wedding cake, it was simply stunning and tasted absolutely incredible.

Tanz made a special dairy free top cake for my new husband and it’s so rare for him to eat cake and he LOVED it, sat down and ate a whole slice. Also, the love and care Tanz puts into the whole experience is simply so thoughtful and touching with the engraved cake stand, with our new married names! It was such a surprise ❤️. These are quite simply the most incredible cakes I have ever seen. Every single creation is a true work of art – a visual masterpiece that immediately captures your attention and leaves you speechless. The craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail are absolutely phenomenal.

But the best part? They taste just as amazing as they look. Too often beautiful cakes sacrifice flavour, but these deliver on every level. Each bite is delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced.

Tanz’s attention to detail, care, consideration and skill are unmatched and her cakes are simply stunning. Not only do they look and smell incredible, but they taste fabulous too!

Tanz’s cakes are incredible! They’re the most beautiful cakes I think I’ve ever seen - so beautiful, that I wasn’t too worried about what they tasted like as they were for a family celebration, but…..they tasted just as amazing as they looked! They ended up being the centre piece of our party, made even more special by the fact that Tanz so kindly made some of the cupcakes into our favourite flowers. My daughter’s birthday cake was more than I could have imagined.
Tanz created a fantastic and delicious gluten free cake for my daughter who asked for a spidey and unicorn cake, not an easy task!
Tanz is very creative, imaginative and highly talented and will think of every detail.
She was not afraid to try her hand at her very first gluten free cake, and it turned out superb!

Incredible 40th birthday cake for my wife. It was an intricately designed vanilla cake made to look like a bouquet of flowers. She loved it as did all our guests. Delicious and stunning. Our second time using The Village Baker and we’ll be back!

Wow wow wow, the service from my first contact to the minute I had the cake in my hand was top class.
The cake for the Swiss National Day celebration for 300 Swiss people celebrating in London loved the look of it, and when I (who donated the cake to the event) wanted taste it, it was all good, that is how good it was.

What I liked about the Village Baker's service, my specification was so brief apart from that I want a mountain and a swiss flag, and the Village Baker came up with concepts, we got there, and was even given instructions how to cut it.

Totally professional all the way through and a lovely looking and tasty cake.
