Don't think I could have had a worse experience. Work was never marked when it was supposed to have been, not even months later was it marked after I'd followed up on it. Over a year after completing the course and not received my certificate, I sent several complaints in to be told I was never even enrolled properly (despite completing all the work and having it all marked, ergo passing the course) and told the course had now changed so I had to complete further work. Completed the additional questions anyway, despite my annoyance, and even then, had to complain several times before I was sent my certificate out. My partner is currently completing a course and has had no feedback, no work marked or anything and it's been months. The course might be funded by other companies but there is no excuse to deliver this poor quality of service to anybody trying to get additional education. Wouldn't bother doing another course as I don't have the time or patience chasing up on it for months on end. Told my partner not to bother either. He won't be paying for the course if unfinished because the company hasn't delivered any level of service that was promised upon signing up for the course.

dont waste your time the digital marketing course has been put together by fools, a 6 year old could do a better job, it is very much lacking in anything you would need for the professional work place, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I am CIM educated and know the difference

An employee of mine was accepted in to the free digital marketing course and completed module 1, only to be told funding was being withdrawn for a variety of excuse from answering the question too well to being in the wrong postcode and finally because she had completed a business studies course 10 years ago with a similar module. How thats relevant today I do not know.

Fantastic course and support!
I have just completed my course in "Understanding Health and Nutrition". I found the course incredibly informative, challenging and I have gained a lot of valuable tools to utilise in my personal life. The feedback on each assessment was thorough, supportive and informative. At times when I was unable to complete an assessment on time, the team were understanding, supportive and happy to give me an extension. Overall, a really good experience, I would recommend and will likely sign up to another course to continue to expand my knowledge and skills on subjects of interest with a view to a potential career change in the future.

I have just sent in my final assessment for the level 2 digital marketing course. Previous units have been marked within a week or so which is great.
There are some big changes that could be made to both the learning material and the assessments. The learning material is extremely repetitive, with some sections being completely pointless as the information has already been covered elsewhere in the course.
I am a relatively smart person but found the questions within the assessments were not always clear with what they were actually asking from you. For this reason I had my first few returned to me to make changes. Even though I was confident with my knowledge, it was frustrating doing the assessments and having no idea what some of the questions meant.
Some of the feedback provided is also a little strange and not necessarily relevant to the assessment.
A lot of the learning has not been kept up to date which in digital marketing is really important. I already work in the industry but if someone was completely new they may end up with false information which is also worth considering.

I’m unsure if the course is a ‘scam’ or not - although the course content is ‘okay’ and gives a basic / general overview of counselling - I did the Level 2 counselling - it’s online and self driven. However, the exam questions are a bit unclear / not shown how much to write often. I asked for learning support and extra time ; and I got extra time - however was pulled off the course without notice / consent after needing more additional time due to unforeseen circumstances. Now, I am getting threatening letters for fines of £100 with threats of legal action and paying for court due to not paying the requested £100 - despite being told the course was fully funded by the government, and not ever being told that there could be charges under any circumstance. Not a good way to treat people wanting to learn / better themselves, especially in mental health. This has definitely had a negative impact on my mental health , and think the course is a scam !
Edit ; another positive is tutor gave good feedback - although perhaps harsh with asking for re submissions on minor errors - which adds to extra hours / work for submitting in course time frame

It’s not just me then!!
I started a course with huge enthusiasm. I worked and worked and then waited and waited for feedback. I was told that those marking the course were too busy as they had over subscribed the digital marketing course. Without feedback you loose faith in what you are doing. Weeks went by and then they said you need to go back to the beginning.
Not a wonder I lost interest. I had written numerous times to ask for help.
I have emailed several at the skills network explaining that I feel I have wasted time and energy on this. I wrote a formal complaint. Have heard nothing back for months.
Now I have till the end of the month to pay for a course that was badly run. They are threatening debt collectors.
Is this how they run their business? Provide bad courses and then charge people who are just trying to learn…

Absolute rubbish! If I could rate them 0 stars I would. Started a course and did par of it but waited weeks for assessment. Then I was told I was too late with the rest of the course. All my assessments where AI generated and now they are charging me £100 for dropping the course. Outrageous.

I’d not waste your time. We were told to submit a huge amount of additional work in order to gain the government certificate on top of our course completion certificate. After completing the course and chasing the government certificate, we’re now told there isn’t such a thing as a Government certificate. Why the extra work they have put us through!? My thoughts are they do it to secure their funding and not in the interests of the students. I’d not use them again after weeks of false information and wasting our time.

I applied a level 3 cyber security course in my area that was fully funded, I had a telephone meeting with Millie to discuss the course I was very excited to start my new career, I have received an email from Millie this morning that states I am no longer eligible for a course and I am beside myself. This was the only course I could get for free. Millie you had raised the hopes of someone who has no direction in life and has been struggling to keep a stable job, raised my hopes and you have sank then back down again. Why would you have put me through that process if I am not eligible!?!?!?

After completing the pre enrolment form on the website for a funded skill bootcamp in data analysis, I received a welcome email, the communication from the company ceased completely. Didn’t even receive a rejection email. I tried to send an enquiry which was not even acknowledged. Please don’t waste people’s time, if something went wrong with the application communicate it immediately so us (future) students can take action by signing up with another provider. I have been stuck waiting for way too long.

I appreciate that sometimes there are no spots available or you need to wait for the next cohort, however even my enquiries via email have gone unanswered. Why not communicate the issues? This is not a good imagine you present of your overall services.

I signed up for this course on advice from my employer as it was free (!). However, the amount of work required to complete this course is unreasonable considering the timeframe given to complete it in, especially if you are a full-time working parent of a toddler. Furthermore, I disclosed personal information about my ND in the hopes I would be supported on this course and adjustments would be made (ironically, this course was for SEND). As I was unable to complete the first part in the limited time given, the deadline passed. No reminders sent. No one contacted me. Months later, I'm being chased for £100. Nowhere was this made clear. I can find no information on where I signed up for this. I can find no contract emailed to me. I can find no emails warning me this is would be a consequence of missing the first deadline. Again, I stress I am ND and made this clear in my application. I never received email reminders during the course but am now receiving weekly emails to chase money. Except, they never sent the invoice - just told me it would be happening. When I've chased them for the invoice, they've finally sent it to me 2 months later! Thanks for causing further stress for 2 whole months. You need transparency and better processes to support ND students.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
I signed up for level 2 counselling skills in order to gain a few simple counselling skills to help me at work (I’m a tattoo artist, my clients often reveal their life problems to me).
I thought this would be a positive experience. How wrong I was.
I wish…that I’d never bothered.
I’m now sat here petrified I’m going to be charged £100 for a course advertised as FREE. Simply because you are absolutely SET UP TO FAIL. And that’s how they get your money.
It’s not made clear anywhere that this course involves over 120hours of learning, and you are expected to start this course as soon as you have signed up for it, complete with absolutely CRAZY deadlines. I signed up for this course on the 9th of April, didnt receive funding until the 1st of May and Im expected to have completed all 4 modules by the 28th of May. That’s 30 hours of work a week, on top of running a business, a house and caring for two kids. All for a certificate I may never receive.
Course material is also rubbish. Just loads of very old YouTube videos and PowerPoints.
So I guess the government are going to make a quick £100.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE and just sign up for a proper course.

It's a scam. I did the cyber security bootcamp, the tutor did not know about the industry at all. All they did was to get someone to read outdated slides during class. The labs (practice labs) also didnt work properly. After finishing my bootcamp they didn't give me my certificate as i didnt go to a job interview. They promise to get you in a job interview but they sent me a couple of jobs to send my cv, some were hundreds of miles away from where I live.
Finished this course and never got a certificate, and didnt get to a job interview as promised.
Total waste of time and abuse of government funds. This company should be investigated. It's quiet common this days companies stealling government funds and not delivering what they promise. Abusing people out of work.
