Having made a purchase of four items, one print had to be sent away for framing. We were kept informed during the whole process with the framed artwork forwarded to us well packaged and in a timely manner together with a complimentary card. Our complete experience with the staff at The Rose Gallery has been exceptional and we wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

Order dealt with quickly and efficiently, picture wel packaged. Chocolates were a lovely touch!

After seeing a picture from a particular artist we were shown more of hers online and then the ones we liked were brought into the gallery and hung. No hard sell and friendly staff. We chose a picture and it was then well packaged for us to take home. Very pleased with our purchase.

Not delivered on the day it was supposed to be and LITTLE notice. And NO NEW DATE SUPPLIED. Yes take the money but client contact and support is awful. Wouldn’t ever use them again

This is our 3rd Doug Hyde purchase from Rose Gallery and we can not fault the service we have received from them. Excellent communication, fast delivery and item is always in excellent condition, never had a fault.

I ordered Mother's Song. The painting is as described, except that it is quite a bit smaller than I expected. The description gave the 'mounted' dimensions. Mounted in the art world, from everything I understand, means that it would be affixed to a firm background. I did not expect the dimensions to include a thick white mat of 3.5 inches around the whole painting (meaning the painting was 7 inches smaller in height and width than I anticipated, and therefore will not suit the place I had hoped to hang it). So the lesson here is to confirm BEFORE YOU BUY whether the dimensions are that of the picture or not, and if there is a mat, how thick it is and what colour. I personally am not a fan of a thick white mat around this picture. I don't think it really works and is not very artistic. If I were going to get a mat, I would have preferred to have some say in the colour and thickness. I will probably be looking at spending more money to replace the mat with something that works better with this painting.
