Get to know your Colors
Colors are beautiful to work with, and we often underestimate the power they have. I recently had a color analysis done by Refinery Advisory, and it was such an eye-opening experience.
It felt so good to finally ask all the questions I’ve always had about colors, style, and what truly suits me, and to ask them to a specialist in the field.
What I found especially interesting was how the results reaffirmed why I naturally gravitate toward earthy tones like olive green, browns, and warm greens, while also helping me understand the mistakes I sometimes make when choosing colors.
I’ve so many “aha” moments now standing in front of my wardrobe. For example, I now understand why I would always try on my royal blue dress, only to end up taking it off and choosing something else. It turns out royal blue is one of the colors I should avoid and my natural instinct knew that somehow.
With this new insight, I’m excited to go through my closet and finally understand why there are pieces I never wear, despite liking them. I can now match everything against my personal color palette and recommendations.
It truly feels like stepping into a new journey with yourself, seeing yourself through new eyes and learning how to work with your own unique color palette. Very exciting, and I would definitely recommend this session to anyone, not just people who are into fashion.

Tamara, thank you for writing this out so thoughtfully. The royal blue moment is one of our favourite things to hear, that point where your instinct and the analysis line up and the why finally clicks. You clearly already had strong colour intuition with those olive and warm earthy tones, so a lot of the session was just giving language to what you already sensed. Enjoy the closet edit, that part is where it gets genuinely fun. And you said it perfectly, this is for anyone, not only people into fashion. Grateful for the recommendation.
