I've spent quite a bit of money buying various things from Pharmpet for many years, ever since it was a tiny little company and have never had an issue. So I was VERY pleased when it appeared on TopCashback, and at first, it all went swimmingly, always paying out. Happy customer!
Then I (apparently) used a voucher on two orders months apart. But it did not say it was single use, and it did not reject the voucher at the checkout, which would have been the sensible course of action, it just took the money and then immediately sent an email saying there was a problem with the order.
Customer service were snotty about it, and sent me the terms and conditions of the company that has bought them out, which is presumably why they've become less good to deal with. How am I supposed to know to apply those to a completely different website?
I countered with their own terms and conditions that were actually visible on the site, with no mention of it being single use, so they just ignored me.
The money was refunded, and I bought the products elsewhere at the same price.
So, longstanding customer pointlessly lost over what I think was going to be about 2 quid off the order....

⭐ Very poor service and communication – would not recommend

I placed an online order for two products. The website stated that a prescription needed to be posted for one of the products as it was a controlled drug. However, Pardale is not a controlled drug, so I found this requirement rather excessive.

After placing the order, I contacted my vet, provided them with my order number, and they emailed both prescriptions directly to Pharm Pet Co.

I then heard absolutely nothing for two weeks. I emailed an order query but received no response, so I eventually had to telephone them.

I was then told that my order was being held because they were waiting for a hard copy of the prescription, despite them already having received the electronic prescription. What is particularly frustrating is that they had apparently never contacted my vet to request the hard copy.

I asked them to contact my vet and request the prescription by post. I was also told someone would call me back to confirm this and let me know whether the other product, Metacam, could be dispatched while they waited for the Pardale prescription.

Nobody called me back.

I had to telephone again today to chase the matter, and throughout all of this not one person has apologised for the delay, the lack of communication, or the fact that I have repeatedly had to chase my order.

I find this level of customer service extremely disappointing. Two weeks with no communication, no response to my email, and promises of a callback that were not followed through is simply not acceptable.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Pharm Pet Co. There needs to be a significant improvement in communication, ownership of problems, and customer service.

As always, excellent fast professional service.

Good prices, checked reviews which were mostly good but couldn't order because the pet section fir prescription meds wouldn't work. As I couldnt get boxes to tick I couldnt add my pet so couldn't order meds. Very disappointed
