So far my experience has been great. Customer service staff have been really helpful. Engineer Mahim was friendly, respectful and answered all of my questions. Easy peasy to set up and they were very obliging when I had to make an adjustment to the appointment. Really easy to now do. Just press an icon on a panel and you're done. I've already earned loads of points and looking forward to picking some rewards!

Got an invitation through the post, signed up and booked an appointment for installation of monitoring devices. This happened on time and the technical person explained everything and was willing to answer questions. They are a market research company and I believe them when they told me that my data collected from internet and TV use would be anoymised. And I get generously rewarded for taking part.

Lawrence did a fantastic job connecting the equipment to my new broadband provider. He was polite and courteous. A credit to you!!!!

Very poor communication, I have repeatedly rung their customer service number but been unable to get through.

What the actual hell, came home from work today with a letter stating I have been chosen to join the panel, like it was a big massive club.After watcjing the video why would anyone want to agree to this. The sheer invasion into the home by a company that wants to monitor what you watch on tv, browse on the internet. Personally I have 2 words for this, utter disgust.

Received a letter and watched the video.

This origin panel is essentially having two monitoring devices installed into your home to monitor your internet and TV usage in return for some loyalty points that the video implies can be redeemed for fast food.

This is extremely creepy and I struggle to see how this study will be representative of anyone other than those who are either so stupid or so desperate that they would trade their privacy and data for a slice of pizza.

James H. was the Technician who assisted me with the remote installation of the Origin Panel equipment.

The installation was carried out both effectively and efficiently. He was most knowledgeable in relation to the stages of the installation. He also exercised a great deal of 'politeness and patience', whenever I did something in error.

I also found that the installation was carried out in a timely manner.

I received an invite recently, I find it amazing that anyone would give an external organisation access to their IT habits let alone plug an unknown unit into their TV box etc

Colin very helpful for and knowledgeable in helping me set up all the televisions and equipment needed to take part. Additional equipment was sent and another appointment was made to finish set up. Nothing was too much trouble.

Shocking. Signed up Xmas with promise of a bonus £50. Thought would be handy as expensive time of year. We are now mid march and still not had incentive. Promised twice I would get call back and would be sorted but both times no call. I hate being lied to. Very difficult to get on phone. Not a transparent company and feel silly I got involved

I got the letter through asking me to consider becoming a member. I watched the video and declined to participate, simply put, why give anyone access to your browsing habits, you have to remember your info is very valuable to companies like this, why do you think they are in this business. It is not worth the intrusion into your home and nothing good can come from it. Do you think they are doing this for no profit, I doubt it very much, as they would not be in business very long. Likewise you do not get a free lunch.

Offered a chance for the trial. You risk all network security for 12 months...not just your data, but whatever friends/family come and use your network also. It's also not passive Income, you actively have to work for it. Your time and data is worth far more than they pay! They collect all of your data, every website visited etc photos looked at, videos watched and then will sell this data to companies like Facebook. Even if they're legit. £12 per month to be routed through some strangers system is not worth it!!

I've just had this installed and Adam my remote installer was great, very patient with me when I accidentally unplugged my internet connection (too many plugs in my house for my liking) The set up was straight forward and Adam talked me through everything clearly and precisely. Now the set up is complete it's so easy to use - we just sit back really and collect the points. Pressing the avatar on the display unit for the tv either physically or with the remote control is the only thing we have to do. Easy peasy! Very impressed so far :)

I went for an installation over the phone and my installer Colin was a pleasure to speak to. The installation process is very well-organized and the instructions were clear and simple to follow.

So, I received the invitation in the post and thought I would check the company out. The reviews on here for The Origin Panel are good. Conversely, the reviews for Kantar, the company that is actually running the survey, are dreadful. I thought I'd take a look at the website, anyway, to help me make up my mind but Chrome has it marked down as "not secure or dangerous" and won't even let me in. I tried to get in on my mobile (different search engine) but that won't let me in either.
So while some people say it is a simple way to make money, it is obviously a seriously dodgy endeavour and I would think twice before signing up (if you can even get into the site).

Easy set up process, quick to arrange installation of the hardware. Josh our installer was lovely and very helpful. Looking forward to earning some rewards now.

So easy to book a home visit and to get set up and running. Very polite lady that booked our appointment over the phone and our home installer Kieran was very professional and informative. We are looking forward to earn some reward points now.

I made a mistake when I registered and I didn't realise how much of a headache it would be to resolve it.

The two people that helped me sort everything out were very kind and patient with me. I'm very grateful to them for their help.
