I started chemistry tuition with Nia in September 2024 to boost my grades in GCSE chemistry. I struggled a lot to understand certain concepts within chemistry in school lessons, hence leading me to get some extra support.

Nia’s teaching style was effective as she took her time to ensure that I understood complex concepts as well as making lessons enjoyable. Nia made chemistry less intimidating by breaking the course down into manageable chunks.

Additionally, whilst going through theory she provided practise questions and consistent feedback to maximise my exam performance as well as a deeper understanding.

Thanks to the consistency of tuition, I was able to move from foundation combined science to higher combined science for my GCSE. Thank you for all the help!

My daughter is getting ready for her GCSEs this year and we have engaged with Nia as her Chemistry tutor in September24.

Nia works really well with my daughter - so much so, that since taking up tutoring, my daughter has built up subject knowledge and confidence, has done well in the mocks, and as result has moved up to higher science. All of this is a result of Nia's fantastic tutoring ability.

One Tuition Tutors really helped my son improve his confidence in his studies.

The tutors are really good and helpful, especially Nia, who really helped me to achieve top grades and become more confident. One Tuition have been amazing in tutoring both my children at both primary age and in secondary school. I have found them very accommodating and flexible to tailor a bespoke tutoring syllabus for each child.

Honestly one of the best tutoring jobs I’ve ever had. The One Tuition is so understanding and flexible which makes it the perfect student job! It has been a dream working for them and I truly encourage people to seek tutors and/or tutoring jobs from them!

Honestly I couldn’t recommend Connie enough! She’s made biology so much more enjoyable and I really have felt a boost in my grades and my confidence. I cannot recommend Nia enough. In one year she has helped my daughter pull up around 4-5 grades in her chemistry GCSE. Yes my daughter has worked hard alongside her but the warmth, empathy and knowledge from Nia has just been incredible and such amazing value for money. The One Tuition has honestly changed our lives, they have given my daughter such immense support not just by teaching but also understanding her and emotionally meeting to her medical needs. I first joined One Tuition at the start of year 11 as I was struggling with maths and science. I was tutored for both maths and chemistry, as I was previously getting Us in chemistry and 4s in maths. After, joining One Tuition and having amazing tutors like Nia, who tutored me in chemistry throughout year 11 and also helped me with English Literature and language, my results improved drastically and I ended up getting the grades that I needed to get I am now studying chemistry a-level. These guys absolutely know what they are doing and that's why I have had two of my daughters study with them and this will continue till they finish their studies. I first came in contact with The One Tuition during lockdown 2020. They were running a project in partnership with a local social enterprise where they offered tuition to children who were out of school due to the lockdown restrictions. They did amazing work - working with around 30 children or so, including my own and family members. Fast forward 3 years, my child was falling behind in the lead up to GCSE exams so I called on The One Tuition again. They supported my child in the core subjects every week day for 3 months. They offered bonus sessions and check ins to ensure my child was as prepared as possible for the exams. I loved that they kept me in the loop, had regular reviews and shared their action plans. They worked hard and stayed consistent, even during Ramadan - despite the sessions starting very early in the morning. I can't sing their praises enough, I'm forever grateful. I wish them all the best in the future. I won't hesitate to have the guys support my younger 3 children when they are of age.
