food is always good , but disappointing today as was freezing

I’ve just had my turkey breast joint and chipolatas delivered. The joint is HUGE! £21 and twice the size of a similar priced one from the supermarket. Obviously I don’t know how the meat tastes, it’s for Christmas dinner, but it all looks excellent, was packaged with loads of ice packs, and delivered early by courier. Excellent service.

Wouldn’t even give one star placed order didn’t get confirmation email wasn’t told when delivery would be my delivery was left outside during wet weather and when I arrived home it was sat in a puddle contacted them and they are taken no responsibility for this even though I wasnt unaware it would be coming Christmas dinner just become more expensive as now I need to buy again

There word quoted in an email where they r also complaining to dpd

‘ We always do our best to ensure all boxes are packaged securely and to a high standard; however, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of DPD once the parcel has left our premises’

All to which I would of been home if I was aware of my delivery

This company used to be first class but my last two orders #38965 and #38498 has seen much lower standards. The steaks have less flavour and more conective tissue/gristle. Several steaks had a soapy flavour to them indicating incorrect storage or possible chemical contamination. The vacuum packing is poorly done with air left inside the packs. I have also found bone fragments on pork tenderloin which shows poor butchery practises of chopping through bone and not using bone saws.

Spent over $200 on some meat a fruit box and a vege box the fruit box only had blueberries,3 kiwifruits,4 apples and some mandarins was very disappointed

I placed an order one week in advance of my guests arriving. I receive confirmation my order was shipped. On delivery I receive an email saying that I will get a refund on the brisket that I ordered. I know have to run around to fix their f'up! If I was told Monday or even Tuesday that I will not be receiving my brisket - then I could have made plan!!
UNRELIABLE! I will never buy from them again and will make 100% sure all our friends and family do not use them for planned special occasions!

Absolutely brilliant beeen using this company for a while Meat is full standard and the service is really good

I purchased some meat 3 weeks ago and the meat tasted lovely. However the meat I purchased last week which was the flat iron steak was horrible. The meat had an off putting tangy, sour smell and taste. I thought maybe my taste bud was off so I cooked another set of flat iron steak and equally had the same smell and taste. Also the lamb mince did not have a lamb taste. I emailed the company but i have not had a reply. Very disappointing, so I will not be buying anymore meat from this company again.

We’ve used them a couple of times in the past (including for Christmas) & had no problems. This recent order had an issue & I emailed them. Their customer service was outstanding! Super quick reply with a nice personalised response, that efficiently resolved the issue. It didn’t seem like the usual copy & paste response you get from other companies. I’m that impressed that I’ve just recommended them to my team at work & came straight on here to leave a review. Excellent service!

The meat arrived quickly and the insulating packaging worked well

Placed a large ish order and the chicken 🐔 was great and I can see why the sausages won an award. Very tasty all round!

Was a bit concerned about buying meat on-line but it worked well and tasted even better, will be doing it again with this company

Great quality meat as always. Had a problem with delivery which was sorted quick and easy. We had the rib eye steak last night which we agreed was the nicest steak we’ve had in a long time. Brilliant.

The box came well packaged and still frozen and the meat inside was good quality and delicious.

The meat box 📦is convenient. Has a nice choice of food and is always fresh produce. Delivery is always very convenient and easy to repack in the freezer or the fridge for use at a later date
