Excellent product just what I needed to spend hours outside with my working spaniel.

I'm really impressed with the quality of Harehill products the birtles fleece and gilet are really warm and comfortable and look smart and the ridgegate trousers are one of the most comfortable trousers Ive had .I'm the head riverkeeper for Chatsworth Estate so me and my team are out in all weather's up and down the banks .so it's important to have warm hardwearing comfortable gear and to look smart at the same time .quick delivery and a great service too ,we'll done Harehill 😊

Purchased a pair of Ridgegate bellow pocket trousers about 3 months ago, they are well made and fit comfortably with all the flexible panels in. I would highly recommend them I wear them daily for gamekeeping duties and forestry work

Absolutely love the waterproof Ridgegate trousers, such a comfy well styled trouser. I have struggled for years to find a trouser I am happy with, tried most brands out there and these are by far the best. I am hooked and will be looking at the whole range of clothing!

The Ridgegate trousers are excellent. They are the only ones I have found that fit nicely with the shorter leg lengths which I need.

Highly recommended. I'd been looking for the perfect pair of outdoor trousers for years, having tried several of the top brands with none of them ticking every box. Harehill's Ridgegate trousers blow everything else out of the water with their supreme quality and design. Comfortable and durable, they have a wonderful slim and stylish fit, making use of extremely high quality materials that stretch in all the right directions, with extra reinforcement in all the right places.

The Ridgegate trousers far exceed the quality and design of many significantly more expensive manufacturers, and represent phenomenal value for money. They were so good I immediately bought a pair of the waterproof version as well, which are just as brilliant. I work out in the countryside most days and won't be buying outdoor trousers from anywhere else from now on. What's more, Harehill are a small UK business so you are supporting a quality British brand.

I bought Harehill Ridgegate trousers after seeing them on a bushcraft website. There haven’t been any video reviews or any others come to that, so I decided to take a leap of faith and buy a pair. What’s the worst that could happen? They’d be rubbish and I’d send them back……

However….They arrived very quickly (usual for the company I bought them from) and with some trepidation I opened the package, not really expecting great things for a (comparatively) inexpensive pair of trousers.

The first thing I noticed was the plastic bag they came in:100% recycled and recyclable - for me that’s a bonus point as there’s way too much packing product in landfill as it is.

The trousers looked good out of the packet and also fit very well and true to size, on the comfortable scale rather than too snug which I don’t like in bushcraft/outdoor clothing.

The materials seem to be of a good quality with YKK zips throughout. The stretch panels where fitted work particularly well and will definitely be a plus point out in the field. The two rear pockets are interesting. I’m not a fan of rear pockets as usually the stuff you put in them gets crushed or causes discomfort when sitting, but these do have a very distinct zip placement which is above the butt cheeks making for easy access. Another plus!

The other pockets appear sturdy and well made with stitching being TRIPLE in places associated with high stress, the belt loops are well placed and with enough of them to keep any belt firmly in place. The cordera strips at the hem are sure to give a lot of protection against wearing away too quickly.

I will be giving these a good testing over the next few months, and if their performance is as good as their looks, then I’ll be investing in a few more pairs as they are HALF the price of another well known brand and at least as good on the surface.

I have just bought a gilet to go with the trousers I bought a few months back. These guys really understand how to make robust and comfortable contrywear. The gilet is top quality and beats Schoffel which used to be my go-to brand. Schoffel fleeces are not what they used to be so Harehill is now my brand of choice. Whoever is Harehill's designer, keep the clothes coming and I will buy more!!
