All veterans do not use this company for VA home loans the brokers Ryan Anderson and Bobby Atkisson are snakes.They will lie to you and deceive you. They only do phone calls so there's no paper trail on their behalf. They are the most dysfunctional people I've ever dealt with. If anyone knows how to make them lose their licenses so no vet or person has to ever deal with these disgraceful people.

I was hit up by one of their staffs for pre approval stuff. I decided to respond and see if I can get preapproved. But damn, the unprofessionalism by this team is unequaled. They do not communicate not just with clients but within themselves. Do not apply to them, they are a complete waste of time and energy. THEY AINT WORTH IT.

They charged me over $500. For a appraisal for a new mortgage to pay off some debt. After I paid due it they quit taking to me I emailed and texted if I got a reply it was an excuse about that they couldn't write it due to late payments on a cosigned loan they knew about from the beginning. They scam many veterans many of us are in financial need.

We've had nothing but an outstanding experience with TFSB! Their bankers are very knowledgable, especially when it comes to VA loans. They're the only shop in the country that has real specialty in VA construction loans, which includes helping get through all of the hurdles associated with these (and if you've ever tried to get a VA construction loan, you'll know how much of a headache it really is, let alone how hard it is to find someone who knows the process in-and-out).

Their communication is highly above standard, and they're fast to respond to emails and calls. We had what I'd consider to be a complex mortgage situation, and their team put critical work into making it happen. They also beat traditional average 30yr VA rates at the time we got under contract.

TFSB is a really military/veteran friendly bank, and had this not have been our forever home, I'd go with them again for all of our mortgage needs.

I urgently recommend you to not work with this bank.

Upen Patel was the loan officer that was supposed to be helping us throughout this transaction. Once we were committed the consistency and detail of his communications dropped dramatically. He contradicted himself in writing and on the phone. He told us that the reason he lied about things was to "to motivate" people to move faster.

He assured us, in writing, that his bank would meet the closing date that was set. Once he knew that was no longer possible, he neglected to tell anyone about it for days. We were only notified about it mere hours from the original closing date. He failed to provide any useful information about what was wrong in the process. He also routinely ignores text messages, emails, and phone calls. He may in fact choose to go on vacation without telling you, the customer, providing coverage, or informing his manager to provide coverage, who also might be on vacation.

Once the deal started to fall apart he was not helpful in providing status updates, timelines, or solutions. No one at the bank has the authority to tell you anything helpful. They all seem to be away from their desks every time.

Their collective failure ultimately cost several people thousands of dollars, wasted person hours, time off work, cancelled trips, and other expenses.

Do yourself a favor and go with another bank. You will regret working with this company. If you do choose to work with them, I urge you not to place your trust in Upen Patel or anything he has to say as he is word is worth less than nothing.

Once again I have been contacted by this company with unwanted solicitations. This time it was their "Senior Vice President". Each time they text me or call me, it's always from a different number. It's never consistent. The message is always the same as well, "Hello! This is ********. Sr. Vice President at the Federal Savings Bank. I'm checking in because We assisted with your VA benefits in the past and we received a notification of new available benefits included in your VA entitlement! What's the best time to review this with you?"

Regardless of how many emails I send to them, how many text prompts I reply with of "Stop", or how many phone calls I make; every single one of my requests to leave me alone falls on deaf ears. This is now harassment.

Worst bank ever first got a loan offer for 7.28% then the bank was dragging their feet and sent me a new loan offer for 8.68% that was in a 2 months timeframe so the interest went up in 2 mths something fishy here

Non stop HARRASSMENT and terrozing by phone and by mail , This SCAM fraud company , keeps changing its tune first their out of Chicago accordingly to their mailings then u call them to ask to stop harrasing you then they say they are based IN AZ ? Garbage comapny with brainless millenials for employees who are stupid snd clueless

DO NOT apply for a mortgage. You will be approved, then receive banal answers. Calls from your "mort specialist" from phone numbers that auto dump into voicemail. An emailed unintelligible "estimate" Zero communication. Lax morgage contact who could not care LESS about your goals. The most LOUSY service I have ever experienced at any bank. EVER. And my credit score? Is 841.

I had worked with The federal saving bank twice now, Javier Garcia is always my loan officers, I cannot express how much this team is like family to me. I just LOVE them!!

What went wrong? Oh my ... a better question is what went right? I was raped with interest rates and closing costs that were not disclosed. The bank "forgot" to order the appraisal that pushed closing back. Then ... they made me pay for the rush on the appraisal and refused to refund it. And then they took two days to fund.

I had a fantastic experience with The Federal Savings Bank, back in April I started a refinance, and then just a few months back I started a construction loan with them. Both times, rates, and fees were lower, and the customer service has been excellent. Outside of a few delays from my builder, this was outside of the banks control. I appreciate their transparency, competitive nature, and their great staff who kept us up to date all the way through. Thanks for two smooth transactions. Robert Jones, the Division Vice President was my banker for these.

SLOOO---w'. They do not return calls or emails like the PROMISE .Did a appraisal first thing that we paid for . Force you to take points. Have to send & sign TONS of docs. Let some of our docs go past 90 days .Gave us 3 closing dates . Every initial closing doc was different with different% rates. Closing cost were going to be $40,000 . Put our home owners insurance in their name . I know that ruining our credit was some my fault but is they would have closed with us when they told us this wouldn't have messed us up terribly bad.

Terrible! Was talking with an agent and everything was going good. Then he said I'll get back to you on Monday! Well Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday went by after several texts and phone calls I've heard nothing! I say have the decency to at least give someone an answer.

We refinanced our home with The Federal Savings Bank...What a Great Experience. No runarounds just the truth. Had been referred by a friend and glad we went with them. They were upfront with everything in the beginning and said what they would do and did what they said. They worked really hard, most everything was online, very easy. Great Rate with no hassle and a short start to finish. We closed, payoff in two days, we took out a little for home repairs that was deposited in two days, and can't say enough how much I highly recommend. No Scams here or High cost for pulling out a little for repairs.

I tried to refinance through this bank ,which honestly is (A RIP OFF BANK) .To get cash out for refinancing your home based on equity ,to take $3,000federal savings bank has to charge you $13,000 and that leaves you with extra $10,000 in costs to be added to the loan,if you take $12,000 then the cost is going to be $33,000.and so son,add to that the amount of papers they ask for as supporting documents.Besides they treat you as a third not second class citizen ,and show you that they are one of the best banking systems ever.After collecting all the documents,and prior to that ,they tell you that the loan isn't going to cost a lot,but after you are sunk to your ears with papers,you reveal the hidden truth about the CRAZY HIGH FEES.Serioulsy not worth refinancing through them.
