My experience with the Air academy has…

My experience with the Air academy has polite and helpful staff and teachers .
taught me the value of what it is like to follow in a career as flight attendant , they taught me hands on experiences with opening doors , briefing , and evacuation and ditching. Even tho this class was only a week long it was intense I learned the surfaces of what it really takes to become a flight attendant, Their is a lot more to learn. To put safety first as your priority and great customer service to the passengers to work as a team and have a positive attitude. Really does matter,
They also have airline recruiters for hiring come for placement. Which gives you the opportunity to get hired immediately afterwards . Not saying all get hired but a lot do.
The Air Academy is a wonderful place to start especially if your looking into a new professional career in the airline industry and your not sure where to start your new career path this is a Great step to advance to have this experience and knowledge. Love my wings!

its a scam

Honestly, if I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This experience felt like a complete waste of both time and money. My aunt and I invested a lot to attend this program—we applied, paid, and flew out to Florida feeling excited and hopeful to start our careers as flight attendants. Unfortunately, we left extremely disappointed.

We were led to believe by our recruiter, Taylor Row, that we would have strong job opportunities and multiple interviews after completing the training. That was not the case. There was only one airline present for interviews, and if you are under 21, your chances of getting an interview are very limited.

Additionally, this program is not directly through JetBlue, which was not made clear upfront. It is a third-party program that pays to use their facility for a short period of time. The training itself lasted only a couple of days, and we did not feel like we learned nearly as much as expected given the cost and promises.

The hotel accommodations were also unacceptable. We experienced issues with bed bugs, and when this was brought to staff’s attention, nothing was done to resolve the situation. On top of that, the instructors, Dave and Cathy, came across as dismissive and did not seem concerned with addressing these issues or improving the overall experience.

Overall, we invested our time, money, and trust into this program hoping to begin our careers, but the experience did not match what was advertised. I would not recommend this program to others based on my experience.

First, The Airline Academy does provide opportunities for employment with an airline, and during your class there were two airlines present for interviews, not one. Each airline has its own hiring requirements, including minimum age. These requirements are clearly outlined during the admissions process and provided in writing prior to enrollment, which you acknowledged by signing the airline hiring requirements form and confirming your understanding of the limitations related to your age.

Additionally, our support does not end with the in-person training. All students receive ongoing placement assistance, meaning our team continues working with graduates to connect them with airlines for which they meet the qualifications. This was explained prior to enrollment and throughout the online training material.

Regarding your comments about affiliation, we are fully transparent that The Airline Academy contracts with JetBlue University to provide a portion of the hands-on training experience. This is clearly communicated throughout the admissions process and online training material, so students understand exactly what to expect.

We are also concerned by your claims regarding the hotel. We contract with this hotel to accommodate our students, and during your stay, no concerns of this nature were reported to hotel management. Additionally, every survey submitted by other students in your class reflected positive feedback regarding the hotel accommodations, including the quality of the rooms and staff. This hotel also has over 1,500 Google reviews with a 4.3-star rating, with no similar complaints reported.

We are saddened by your decision to leave before completing the final three days of training, as doing so would have allowed you to earn your certificate and gain full access to the placement benefits our program provides. We understand that this experience did not meet your expectations, but we stand by the accuracy of the information provided and the structure of our program.

Sign up for the Flight Attendant Academy. It is worth the time and labor and ensures more than all the other prerequisites.

It was so rejuvenating after months of book work to have our instructors both at jetBlue and in the Airline Academy help us become acquainted with physical expectations of flight attending!

I know i have what it takes. Having such remarkable teammates in our group was nothing short of a delight! I made lifelong friendships with many people. I could not give a better recommendation to anyone considering this career! Roxanne, Dave and Kathy are the mentors for this program and they give you the critiques and refinement that are necessary to deliver…. And it does NOT stop there. They go beyond the time spent to give refinement afterward as well!

This Program will NEVER be something to regret! Sign up. It is worth the time and labor and ensures more than all the other prerequisites.

Misleading and Very Disappointing

I attended this class in August of 2025. I was very disappointed with the misleading information presented to me. One item is right on their website. They state that training is at the Daytona Airport. It isn't. We were at a hotel in Orlando. This is just one discrepancy of many I personally faced. Please do your research, do your due diligence. Contact the FAA. Contact the Florida Department of Education. Research before you buy. Make sure you know exactly what you are paying for other than two tshirts and a name tag. Make sure you check all references of those involved. Make sure you ask clear and pointed questions and make them email you all the answers to those questions, one of which being "Does this count as flight attendant training and by who's authority do you provide that certification?" And thank you for the reply below, but accountability is a wonderful thing today. You need to held accountable for all that you say. Like the hiring stats. You say 60% of your students get jobs. So that means 18 of the students in this last class should all get a CJO. How many got them? Zero. Thank you for those accurate numbers.

Our website clearly states that the Airline Customer Service program is conducted at Daytona Beach Airport, and the Accelerated Flight Attendant program, which you enrolled in, is held in Orlando, FL. That program includes two days of hands-on training at JetBlue University. These details are accurately reflected on our website and program materials.
In addition, the program you attended offers much more than the items you mentioned. It includes online preparation, classroom instruction, access to JetBlue University’s training facilities, the opportunity to interview with airlines, and continued placement support. You elected not to participate in the interview portion, but that option was available to you as part of the program.
We agree that prospective students should always research thoroughly before enrolling, and our website, staff, and enrollment process provide full and transparent details for that purpose.
We regret that you did not find the program to your satisfaction, but it is important to note that the information you referenced as misleading is, in fact, correct on our website.

A good place to grow

Meeting new people that had the same goals and aspirations was really nice. The instructors were very knowledgeable and patient. I really enjoyed the hands on experiences that were provided.

I do wish there had been more explanation as to how bases and commuting worked. I know this would most likely be difficult but it would be helpful. I know others were confused as I was.

The whole experience has helped me to grow and to have a new appreciation for flight attendants.

Awesome Airline Academy

For me i must say that i was so fortunate to be paired with such a wonderful roommate. My flight was delayed (4) times trying to make it to the Academy it was after 12 midnight my room key didn’t open the door, after a little bit the sweetest person came to my rescue and opened the door. She had the kindest voice and she gave a total stranger the biggest hug🥰 The instructors gave us ALL of the tools we need to eventually land our dream jobs. It was wonderful making new friends that i’m pretty sure we’ll remain friends for a long time. It was truly bittersweet leaving we all felt a bit saddened that our learning journey together had come to an end. Thank you so much Airline Academy🩵🌷🩵

I am extremely thankful for this amazing opportunity

I am extremely thankful for this incredible experience. I remembered how much I wanted become a flight attendant but I had no clue, no guidance, no foundation and after fell in different exams couple times I decided desperately to invest every energy and time on the Airline Academy. They changed completely my life, not only brought me so much knowledge and information but they prepared me for my new journey. Literally on my last day on my graduation I had a pleasure to receive different opportunities of work and I accepted my dream job . Thank you for all you all did for me. I am eternally thankful for this incredible opportunity. I’m officially heading to attend my dream work and definitely this wouldn’t be possible without God and you all. Overall Experience

Kathy, Lisa and Roxanne really thought us a lot in the few days I was there. I especially enjoyed the hands on training we received at the JetBlue University. Get to see the in-flight actually events. What equipment is there. Definitely a good experience!!!!

Sharing a room during class was a little distracting and uncomfortable for me…. I was not able to relax. Other than that my experience in class was informative and a great experience. All the instructors were very knowledgeable and experienced. Thank you all for your help! It was a pleasure to meet you all!!!!

It was a wonderful experience doing…

It was a wonderful experience doing this Training with the airline Academy! I think that the connection with the airlines companies at the end of our training really helped us a lot and all of the practices as well! One thing I would suggest is to have all answers available for all quizzes so that student can see what they miss and review for it all!

Great school !!

All the instructors were very supportive, helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. I'm very glad I took this class to prepare me for the types of interview questions and how to answer with key words. Very much appreciate them reviewing my resume and how to improve it. A big thank you to each and everyone of the instructors for their time and dedication they all put into doing these classes!!!!

What I disliked the most was all the…

What I disliked the most was all the talks I had with the recruiter. He told me half truths then left out major pieces of information in the process of how things would go when in Orlando. What I liked the most was all the information we covered in the modules. I enjoyed going through the on hands training we had in Orlando.
