I recently hosted a First Aid Course run by Jan. The whole process was straight forward and efficient. The day itself was well organised by Jan and ran very smoothly.
Jan presented the information in an interesting yet informative way and I think everyone went home feeling they had gained many new useful skills.
I would highly recommend Jan and hope to host more with her in the future as and when there is enough need for it from my clients.

As an Animal Assisted Teacher I feel it is important to take part in CPD activities that keep my training current. Today I took part in the Canine First Aid course for pet professionals. It was a really good course with clear content and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to know more about this subject. It is easily accessible and excellent resources to take away. Well worth taking part in the course and it’s great to get hands on experience along with meeting other professionals and sharing your experience

I decided to try Paw-works Online first aid course, due to my current first aid certification expiring and not being booked onto a practical first aid workshop for a couple of months, I decided to do an online course since it had been 3 years since doing a course, and luckily within the 3yrs I have never needed to carry out any first aid, but thought it would be beneficial to do an online course to refresh my memory.
I’m so glad I did, it was very useful with lots of important informative information and was easy to follow, it refreshed my memory on a lot of things and also covered a few things that was not covered in my previous course 3 years ago. I would highly recommend anyone doing this short course whether a pet professional to help refresh your knowledge between practical courses or a pet owner.
It was great having little quizzes at the end of each section to ensure that what you had read you had taken in and the quiz at the end was great to ensure that you remembered everything.
If I was to suggest any changes to the course it would be give the powerpoints the option to either read at your own pace or have it audio based. Myself personally I prefer to sit and listen to it rather than just reading on screen but that’s my own personal opinion.
I also found it very useful being able to print the workbook off to keep as a useful tool to refer back to at any point should I need to and just to read from time to time to keep my memory refreshed, like anything unless you are doing it day in and day out you tend to forget the odd thing so being able to grab it and have a quick read over is great.

As first time breeders we were looking where to find good useful information. A lot of the books were far to technical. Did the foundation of heathy breeding course and found it really good. Lots of really good information without all the technical stuff. The print out lessons are a great asset for future reference. Really enjoyed it and most helpful. Thank you
