Never have we been disappointed at any…

Never have we been disappointed at any of the Texas Roadhouse dining experiences TILL yesterday.
Meal was almost 100.00
Left disappointed and hungry. Had we stopped at rolls and salad, it would have been great.
Husbands shrimp was awful.
My and sister in laws chickenn tenders had a taste we could not recognize and it was not a pleasant taste.
Sons steak kbobs were tough and nearly raw.
Other tables around us were having same or similar issues.
Something bad must have been going on in kitchen. Cook must have stayed at home.
This is our mormal go-to place to eat when we come in to town.
Waiter was great, Garrett.

2 country fried sirloin steak meals. Conway AR location

Ordered 2 country fried sirloin steaks meals and both steaks were full of gristle and tough as shoe leather. Quality of their meat has gone way down hill over the last couple of years. The meals sides (mashed potatoes and corn) were great as usual. Rolls with honey cinnamon butter were top notch. Will not be ordering country fried sirloin steak again. Total for the 2 lunches $49.66

We have patronize Texas Roadhouse for…

We have patronize Texas Roadhouse for years! But we were there January 16,2025 I ordered 8 oz. Sirloin steak it was horrible no favor at all I never get Sirloin but the person next to me had ordered it and looked great but. Then I returned it for a ribeye and it was tuff tender around the ledge by the time it came out I had already ate potatoes and salad. I had always thought it was better than Ruth Chris steak house but not anymore.

North Kansas City Missouri location our…

North Kansas City Missouri location our party of 11 birthday dinner. Waitress was amazing. All steaks were horrible. Ordered steaks cooked medium all were rare. Husband ordered his medium rare, came medium well. Your shift manager on duty Saturday 1/11/24 at 6PM is lazy and is definitely overpaid for what they do. Our Lawrence Kansas location the shift manager makes it a point to introduce themselves and ask about your service.
Corporate needs to know your servers rock at your Kansas City Missouri location. Fire your shift manager hire some grill people that know how to cook a steak.

Three Bad Experiences at different Locations. No Response from Corporate.

So sad to see that Texas Roadhouse has gone downhill. For years they were our favorite restaurant...we would eat there 2-4 times a month. Texas Roadhouse Restaurants have always been fairly consistent and we have eaten at several in six different states but the last two experiences (different locations) were bad. The first time, it took forever for our food to come out...about 1/2 hour, the rolls were not good at all....they were slightly burned, and my husband said his meal....the same one he always orders (country fried chicken) was overcooked. We recently ate at Texas Roadhouse again - another location and the rolls once again were slightly burned - they did not taste good and my steak was tough and hard to chew. I had send in a complaint to Texas Roadhouse twice and no one responded either time. If there is no care or concern at the corporate level, I now see why there is no care or concern at the restaurant level. I don't know if Texas Roadhouse is having problems because someone else took over the company in 2021 or if it's because Texas Roadhouse is a publicly traded company and they are trying to cut costs but it seems that service and quality are not the same as they once were. It's actually three bad experiences as the second time we ever ate at Texas Road house about 12 years ago, the waiter spilled my husband's beer on me when we were out of town for one night and I didn't have an extra pair of clothes. Accidents happen and we did continue to eat at Texas Roadhouse and every time since that time has been good until the last two times. Texas Roadhouse never offered anything, even when beer was spilled on my.....they even charged us for the beer. We had to call a manager over when we got the bill. It's sad when companies don't know anything about customer service and when they won't respond to a complaint. Why would I support a company that doesn't care about its customers.

After being on the waitlist for 50…

After being on the waitlist for 50 minutes, we showed up in the amount of time they told us to. When we got there it was going to be 20-30 more minutes. Both times I told them I had 6 and a high chair. When they finally did call us, they would not accommodate a high chair. They said it would be an additional 30-45 minutes for a high chair. We left and went to Outback. Never going back!

On December 27

On December 27, 2024, I went to the Belton,Missouri Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I had to wait over an hour (which was no problem), and then was showed to my table. The server was great and attended to my needs. The problem came when I was served my steak. The KC strip steak was to be cooked medium with just a touch of pink in the center. When it was served it was well done with no pink in the middle (an occurrence that always happens) and was cold. The server took it back and stated that the manager would bring me out a corrected steak. When then steak came back it was not a KC Strip steak, was full of fat and gristle!! I went ahead and paid for the steak (charged full price of $22.99) with nothing taken off for the incorrect cooking of the steak both times. I think that the store should have taken something off the bill and that they should cook the steak correctly the first time. I was also using my 8 year anniversary notice that you gave me. I do however must rethink about returning to Texas Roadhouse due to this unfortunate incident.

Went for lunch

Went for lunch; ordered 2 cheeseburgers; waited 45 minutes and had to ask about our order. Fries came after we finished burgers. Waitress not attentive; did not bring more tea and coffee.

Handicap accessible

Food was great service was great price is good but before we left they extended the tables out beside us and we couldn't get through the aisle with the wheelchair very unhappy about that as it was like pushing and shoving people out of the way to get through and hitting the tables

Scam

Scam. Wanted to buy some gift cards to pay for a dinner party more easily. Physical cards are labeled as having a long processing time (of course). Digital cards are not labeled as having a processing time. I bought digital gift cards thinking I'd have them in 2 hrs. After realizing I wouldn't, I went to cancel the order. They refused. So despite not having the gift cards, they wouldn't refund me. I only bought them because they were implied to not have a processing time.

Every Friday - Great Steaks!

Every Friday, my poker buddies and I head to the Wichita-EAST Texas Roadhouse, and it never disappoints! The service here is always on point—friendly and fast. We all order the filets, which come out perfectly cooked each time, along with sweet potatoes, fresh salads, and the best potato skins around. The atmosphere is lively and laid-back, making it the ideal spot to relax, enjoy a great meal, and catch up with friends. Highly recommend the Wichita locations for top-notch food and great service!

My FIL picked Texas Roadhouse for his 75th birthday celebration. I jumped online to put us on the waitlist but it told me to call the store to setup because our party was 7. I called at 4:04pm and was on hold for 38 minutes. I explained to Jada that we would be coming in with a party of 7 at 6:30. She was very friendly and helpful. I received a confirmation at 446pm. We arrived at 625pm and were told that they didn't have us in the system so we could either wait an hour or we would have to share a small 6 top table. We tried but it just wasn't big enough. I again showed the hostess, Breanna, my confirmation and asked if she could find out what happened. I was met with a defensive attitude and that she didn't know, we weren't in the system. The manager, Jeremy, came to assist. But the hostess wouldn't stop talking so the manager asked me to move to the side out of her earshot. Instead of helping he simply said they only have 2 tables that would accommodate us and that it would be an hour or longer since those parties had been sat minutes before us. I spotted an empty table at the end that looked big enough for 7 and asked if he could add a leaf to the table so we could sit there. He seemed mad but agreed. He told us he wouldn't set up the table until the half of our party, that was in the, small booth went to the waiting area. He explained it was so he could seat another table but no one was waiting. I asked if they could just sit there for our inconvenience until he got the table, 3 booths away, set up. He had an attitude and said he wouldn't set up the table until they moved. So I asked for another manager and Jeremy disappeared. About 15 minutes later I was approached by Aspin who was so friendly and helpful. She had the table set up, apologized and asked if I'd like to let the managing partner know about my experience. Of course I said yes. She also told me that the hostess sat the last 8 top table under my confirmation and that is why we werent in the system. As I'm dealing with all of this and waiting on the managing partner, the hostess looks at me and says I don't like your attitude. I was amazed! I asked her to please wait for the managing partner and she could tell me in front of him. Which she did. No apology for her attitude. Todd was very friendly and helpful. He apologized, offered appetizers for our table and told me that Aspin would be available if we had any other problems since Jeremy and I weren't working well together. At this point we were happy customers again. We ordered drinks all but 2 arrived (2 large Octoberfest beer). The server, Donna, told us they had to switch the tap and it would be out soon. 30 minutes later they tell us they can't find a manager to change it but it'll be out soon. About 15 minutes later they inform us the October fest is empty. The two people order waters. We then waited over an hour for our food. 2 people didn't order out of fear of their food being spit on. I tried for over an hour to get Aspin but she was helping with takeout. Jeremy came over and said he would discount our table. He gave us a hero discount, which as I understand we were already entitled to because we had 2 veterans at the table. Thank you Texas Roadhouse for ruining a veterans 75th birthday celebration. A kind man who fought for our country and continues to give. He will be heading to Ashville North Carolina with the Red Cross in a few weeks to help out. This company should be ashamed of themselves.

Carry out in Hudson

Carry out in Hudson, Ohio is a joke! This was my 3rd time ordering from carry out and I just had it. Well I call corporate they sounded as if they handle the situation, NO the manager called left a message really fast, now mind you this was 2 mos ago it's now November yes I've called the food is great when you dinner in but carry out NO NO NO and the management don't want to make it right. I tell everyone what happened, just don't do carry out.

Well it was hard to get what we ordered or get a waitress to help when we asked about missing food she says you didn't get it I said no she says so do you still want it got no rolls or potatoes skin's music way to loud and dancing on the tables must be coming a strip club

Avoid Texas RUDE House

If you only have a flip phone or a landline and no internet service and try to call in an order, you will be placed on permanent HOLD! So I drive there to place my order at the pickup window. You will wait 20 minutes to place your order at the window while another customer cuts right in front of you to check on her order while a staff observes all of this and does nothing. The manager then feels it's more important to lecture me about statements made about my experience thus far, then to take my order. Staff forgot to give us our drink just like the last time we picked up an order! No apology for my bad experience there or any compensation. When I asked to speak with the manager again, staff said he is too busy to speak with me. So this location has way too much business to need my patronage or yours. They obviously do not have enough staff to keep up with patrons or to go orders.
Management needs sensitivity and customer service training. This restaurant chain needs a new name, "Texas RUDE House"
