One of the best people to do business. They accommodate my request even if it was cancelled by Dvsa the first time. Bill (Instructor) who met be an hour before the exam was very professional and friendly, his tips were very useful during the test. Would recommended them especially Bill, to anyone who is looking for car for the test. Thanks Bill for the useful tips and suggestions. It really help me pass the first time. I was skeptical at first but they are genuine honest blokes. I booked to take an emergency test in Scotland. I paid online and within 2 hours they got back to inform me they only cover England. They were quick to issue a FULL refund ASAP. I would trust them.

Great service! Got a car and instructor on short notice. Gabor was great and put me at ease and in the right mind frame to calmly do the test and pass!

I was given an awful instructor & frankly, an awful person; he was incredibly rude & patronised me throughout. His car was also in a terrible state, and the clutch was clearly in need of repair.

I contacted Test Car 1 right after meeting him & asked to change instructor, but was told no one else was available. The instructor then took this as a personal slight & proceeded to:
1. Threaten to not take me for the test even though he could see i was ready.
2. Repeatedly tell me that he was doing me a favour doing this on such short notice (I paid £200 overall for 2 hours of his time.) And say that this was all my fault for not having an instructor for the test. (My instructor couldn't make the test date, hence me using this service.)

I was completely on edge for my test as a result. The owner initially apologised for the instructors behaviour, & offered me a price of £150 (rather than £200) for my next test, but after I left him a bad review he began making up lies about me being threatening & violent towards the instructor & even reported me to the DVLA to sabotage my future test(s) - all of which has since been rectified, because it was a complete fabrication.

Thank you to instructor Mr Bill, great man, very professional and humble man. He noticed that I was very nervous and cracked some jokes which made me laugh lot and that helped calming my nerves. Very good sense of humour. When you make a mistake whilst driving he doesn’t shout at you, he just politely talk you through that mistake and you won’t feel stupid or crashed instead you will remember what to do if that happens again. That boosted my confidence and he gave some constructive criticism and when you do good he would commend you as well unlike some instructors that points the mistakes only and make you feel like the examiners are monsters. Mr Bill told me great point that examiners are humans if you make a mistake don’t panic just calm your nerves and continue he gave me re assurance all the time which is great. I have booked the driving test last Tuesday, booked the test car on the same day and the same day confirm the test car. Today, I passed the test with Bill’s car. Bill gave me some advices about my problems and I took the advice. So, I pass the test.

I'd managed to use one of the cancellation apps to get me a test on Thursday 30th. This was great (it was fifteen days after I'd previously failed, so amazing time wise) but my instructor wasn't available.

There were a couple of options highlighted to me - borrowing a friend or family member's car as well as using Arnold Clark to rent a dual control car. Unfortunately no-one was available to supervise so these options weren't available to me.

I was getting quite stressed but eventually found Test Car 1. I paid them £100 to find an available instructor, who I then met at the test centre an hour before in order to get used to their car. After a quick drive around and practice of bay parks (and handing over another £100 to the instructor), I went back to the test centre, and I passed.

Being in a different car wasn't too much of a nuisance - it took a short while to adjust but I was okay by the time of the test. I didn't end up practicing parallel parking in the new car before the test and as a result my points of turn were way off when I was asked to the parallel park as a manoeuvre (sod's law!).

I'd recommend this option to others if they find themselves in a similar situation. For a while it seemed like I wouldn't be able to take the test but Test Car 1 came through and I'm very pleased with the service.

I wanted a last minute driving Instructor plus car for my driving test, both Andrea's and Stuart accommodated my last minute request promptly. The communication was simply brilliant and everything was sorted for me with no unknowns. I would recommend everyone to use Test car 1 with a blink of an eye.

I rang up 2 weeks before my test after being let down with an instructor by passmefast who subsequently wanted to cancel my test. This wasnt an option for me so looked online found this company and within 24 hours i had an instructor and car organized for my test. I book a car/instructor with about 6 hours notice! Passed the test on the first attempt. Andreas was very responsive and even followed up afterwards. The instructor reminded me of a few pointers that helped me pass the test. Definitely recommend!
