We bought the stingray and absolutely love it! The only thing we wish was an option was different color straps. In a situation of trying to blend with surroundings, bright orange straps put a damper in that. But product quality is superb!

I love the concept. There is a learning curve and you need to take your time to level the tent, trying it out before you settle in for the night. It is easy to set up, its just not what I thought it would be. It’s definitely very tight for me and my 14 yo son. So much so, he slept in his hammock and I put me and our gear in the Tentsile Flite. I’m guessing I secured the rain fly too tight as the support poles essentially collapsed laterally under the tension making my feet especially tight (6’ tall 175#). I’ll give it another try in 2 weeks but will need a much better experience to recommend.
I will say one nice product is the Tentsile air mattresses. They are toasty warm, comfortable and do not slide around

Prepare for a learning curve, but wow what a great feeling to be up in the trees!
I knew nothing about the mechanics of ratchets. It was fun to learn!
The last time I used my connect2, I moved a picnic table partially underneath, gaining a dry zone and with the use of the strap ladder that I anchored to the picnic table bench, the bench and table as steps, I hauled myself easily into the tent. I used a cane as well to assist a dismount.
I can’t say enough about how being able to sit in your tent with legs dangling makes camping again possible for people like me who cannot get down on the ground.
I’m now in recovery from planned hip replacement surgery, and looking forward to using my tent again in the spring.

I quit tent camping a long time ago... I just cant lay on the ground. rocks, roots and the unevenness. yeah I grew up doing it but after years of bodily abuse (and im a side sleeper)... it just wasnt fun anymore.

that all changed when some friends wanted to start taking camping trips with our kayaks.

so I bought a stingray
I can tent camp comfortably now.
being a side sleeper, my biggest worry was about sag (I cant even sleep on some memory foam mattresses cause they give tooo much)
not a problem with the stingray. I slept comfortably on my side.
easy to put up. quality materials.
one of my more favorite abilities of the stingray, is the bottom center entry.

a few minor issues, not related to the tent itself, were quickly and very easily handled by support.
Their support gets a five star as well.

Took a very long time before we got an initial response, but once that was clarified action was swift and complete.

I love my tentsile hammock, my una and even returned to also get the flite. I love this company and their products are exceptionally well made and intriguingly clever designs. Absolutely in love!

We ordered the Trillium XL Hammock for 6 people. Initial shipping took a little longer than expected, but an easy email to customer service had that straightened out right away.

We set it up at a small festival the weekend it arrived. It took a little bit of figuring out, but once we understood the principle of it, it was easy to put up. We watched a few instructional videos before-hand, and that really helped. You do have to place the hammock straps high in the air, at least at chest height or higher, to avoid sinking to the ground with all 6 people on board.

The hammock comes with 3 large ratchets, and 3 straps. We were able to use the hammock right away, but two of our ratchets had manufacturer defects. One of the ratchets was missing a safety pin, and the other would bind and stick, regardless of how many times we re-ran the strap. Again, customer service was quick to fix this mistake. They sent two new ratchets right away, at no cost. It was easy to send back the defective ratchets with the enclosed return shipping label.

The hammock really does hold 6 adults, and it's easy to move around, change directions, or switch to a different section of the hammock without sinking or collapsing everyone else. Super comfortable whether you're sitting, relaxing length-wise along a whole side, or using the center/side as a head rest.

Kids and adults love it!

The rain fly that came with my Stingray had a defect in the waterproofing. The Tentsile folks were quick to respond to my questions and send me a replacement fly with no hassle. Thanks for great service on an awesome product!
