So, it's not really enough apparently, two arm sleeves and a heart motiffed chest piece, all abstract, watercolour and the majority freehand. That was last time with Tembo, this time the brief was to extend it seamlessly down my side, ribs, hip and top of my leg - double ouch! As ever, Tembo did a fabulous job, with a spiral design that she integrated with an image I had found - she's really good at incorporating other ideas at breakneck speed. All of it beautiful and complementing my other tattoos perfectly. Great rapport and really enjoyable experience all round (except perhaps the the pain on the boney bits). Is that enough tattoos now? Maybe 😉

Beautiful tattoo, really strong creative design, understood what I wanted and it looks amazing. Cover up of a previous tattoo done elsewhere which I wasn't happy with. Very happy with the experience on the day, and worth travelling to Bristol for.

There are not enough words to fully capture how talented Tembo is as a tattoo artist. I have three tattoos by her, all beautiful watercolor designs inspired by mountain landscapes and flowers. Based on my ideas, we work together on the design to make it even better. Tembo is extremely professional and creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere throughout the process. Every tattoo has healed perfectly—highly recommended!

I’m pretty chill so it was good to have my tattoo done by Tembo as she was very relaxed and calming which gave me confidence that it would be a good experience. It was a professional service from start to finish, I felt like she wanted to do a good job and would take as much time as needed and she did exactly that. The end result is beautiful, I’m chuffed to bits with it.

I brought a book and headphones to keep myself occupied for the 5 hours, but didn't need them as I was so mesmerised by the process and how Tembo created the tattoo.

I was a bit apprehensive with a new tattoist but Tembo was lovely. It took a bit of work getting the placement and size right but she was super patient with me requesting changes. First session was hard work but so worth it - it's stunning.

I got a bit fidgety in the second half of the day (my pain threshold is not what it used to be!) but Tembo understood and would check-in often to see if I wanted to keep going.

One more session booked in - can't wait to see the final result!

After 7 sessions and 4 months my first ever tattoo is finished! Two abstract sleeves joined by a heart motif chest piece are now done. Blackwork, colour and dot work seamlessly combined. All of it strikingly original, just what I'd asked for. No upfront design, just took the plunge. Fantastic experience all the way through. Very talented artist who's able to adjust the work based on my feedback. And the opportunity to take part in the No Regrets photoshoot. What more could you want?

Tembo is an amazing artist and I am beyond pleased with my cover up. It has turned out so much better than I imagined. She was also very honest with me about what would and wouldn't work well as it was a cover up, offering advice as to what prep I would need and how the design may need to be adapted to cover. I went to Tembo needing a coverup of a (very poor) dolphin tattoo I had about 30 years ago. During the consultation she was very understanding and listened to my ideas of the sort of thing I wanted and also advised me on colours and the types of tattoos that would be a good fit, looking through pictures I had of they types of tattoo I wanted we ended up going for the Agathena Emperor butterfly, which means a lot as it's the birth month butterfly of my dad so is a nod to him as well. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, the butterfly looks amazing and I am so so pleased with it. What a fabulous artist, I totally recommend her.
