With clients in all 50 states and clients ranging from 3 to 3,000 employees, Take Command has helped more than 5,000 companies take command of their health benefits. Take Command is proud to be named a best place to work by Modern Healthcare, Builtin, and Dallas Business Journal, and has won countless awards in the startup and innovation sectors.

We’ve had a really good experience using Take Command Health for our ICHRA plan. The setup was easy, the dashboard is simple to navigate, and managing reimbursements has been straightforward. What we’ve appreciated most is their support team — anytime we had a question or needed something adjusted, they were quick to help and really pleasant to work with. Overall, it’s made offering health benefits much simpler for a small company like ours.
As a company, we decided that Take Command would be the best option for our employees, and we were under the impression that they would be available to help our employees review plans and choose the best options. This was not the case. Once the contract was signed, the company’s support was nowhere to be found. If our employees were lucky enough to reach a representative, the person was rude, not knowledgeable, and simply read from a script. Trying to contact support often took days before receiving a response. Our team in-office had to take control of the situation spending multiple days and hours helping our employees. It's not an issue of us helping our employees, it's the issue of Take Command promising they would have the support to do it.
On the days I needed to select my plan, the page would not load with the selections. I did not know how much my insurance would be without seeing the options from the marketplace. I reached out for help and the representatives contacted me a week and a half later, after open enrollment had ended.
Julia made the experience seamless and easy for me as someone who has very little experience on picking out health insurance plans
I’ve spent the last three days trying to cancel our Take Command Health account, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. I’ve been passed back and forth between the AI chatbot and real chat agents, but no one has actually resolved anything. Most of the replies were pre-baked responses, and multiple agents couldn’t even locate my admin account, despite the fact that we are actively being billed.
To make matters worse, they’ve entered my email incorrectly several times, which has slowed everything down. I was also told multiple times that someone would call me “within an hour” or “within two hours,” but no one ever called. Those promises were simply not true, and they’ve caused even more delay.
Every time I reached someone, I was either redirected or given incorrect steps for canceling. We’re still being charged for an account we’ve been trying to close, and no one seems able to take ownership of the issue.
At this point, I need someone competent to contact me directly, locate our actual admin account, and confirm that billing will stop immediately. A company handling health benefits should not make something as basic as canceling an account this difficult.
I hope someone from Take Command sees this and responds with a real solution, not another scripted message.
Take Command manages my employer's QSEHRA and they have been very helpful and responsive as this is my first experience with choosing and managing my own individual health insurance. They make it easy enough to contact them and they do a good job explaining things.
Our set up was complicated due to the difference of 2025 and 2026. It took some time to sort out, but we eventually got there.
I was able to talk to someone from Take Command about my choices.
The website was very helpful with the choices of the insurances that I could pick
Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in picking the best plan for me and my family. Was very kind to chat with.
I got an email that my coverage was decline and now I am on HOLD to see what the reason was.
I feel b the people I spoke with were helpful. Once I understood what I was doing it went well. But I found it stressful I couldn't have done it by myself
The small company I work for doesn't have enough employees for a traditional group insurance plan, so I shop for insurance via Take Command using a QSEHRA. I have had nothing but bad experiences trying to navigate the platform, find what insurance plans I've signed up for, navigating open enrollment, figuring out how to shop for dental plans, etc. It's a nightmare. I don't know if anything better is out there — I just know it's a headache anytime I have to log in.

Antwort von Take Command
This is our first time using Take Command and unfortunately we are not having a good enrollment process. Primarily b/c it is currently taking 3-5 days to get a return phone call and it is difficult to schedule an enrollment call (currently says no more are available for November).

Antwort von Take Command
Simple and straightforward. I was making the switch from my current health coverage to a new plan and Take Command was so supportive and informative in the process. It was nice to have trust and confidence in my plan selection and be able to use it with the my current employer benefits
The person was knowledgeable and very helpful.
